Quick question, do we have names for all of our gear and equipment or is it just Commonwealth Service Rifle, Aurex generic SMG, Infantry kit, etc. ?

I guess you could say service rifle, or machine gun or whatever. I'll assume that RL weapons from the WWI-WWII period exist alongside whatever else is there.

@Dance, regarding your character...

This was intended to have only female characters. However, I might be willing to change that. Another player who has yet to apply also wants to do a male character.

@All: Any way to reconcile this? Ideas? Vote? I'm open to changing it up to allow more males. Maybe make them less about cat ears and whatnot, and more about some Wolverine-style fangs and aggressiveness? Not sure.

And IC soonish? I can do it as soon as desired.

I thought we already had one male character with Dancerias'. I might have missed something but It says he and uses masculine terms for every part of the description.

I do not think having male characters would detract from the RP, in fact it could add more dynamics and room for character development. I personally like the idea of my character being harassed and distrusted for being a Middle Easterner with the equivalent of the Muslim faith and I think that having male characters could add many other interesting possibilities to the story.

Perhaps my character feels subservient to them or embarrassed about not wearing a veil. Maybe this unit is one of the first to allow females into combat or just the opposite. We could also see how other nations view the relationships of men and women and homosexuality from the different national backgrounds. We could make it really funny and say that any male characters are their because of a clerical error and wound up in an all female unit.

I'm for allowing males. As it this, this is still a mostly female character group, lol.

I'm also for closing this off for now, to start with a smaller group to focus on. Any dissenting opinions?

Not only have the group lean more female but why not just have that be for the world's population as well. It would be interesting to RP as a male in a female dominated world.

Biologically it would make sense. With a 9 month pregnancy period have about 10 women per man would be an excellent ratio. It would of course do away with the traditional monogamous relationships but that is a burden I am willing to bare. I mean for the story *cough* yes for the story <.< >.>

I'm thinking of RPing an Anti-colonial Arab-Berber rebel who used to be a member of Aurex or Commonwealth Colonial army. She can be assigned to the squad upon being promised freedom after the war is over.

I know Midare Toushirou, and he was briefly an option I thought about, but he's not really a catboy (though I believe there are one or two pics of him with cat-ears). I do have pretty much 90-95% of any vaguely decent pics on the internet that exist of Midare, in my collection of images. I've got an image gallery from a few old apps I did with him from ages ago, but that needs to be updated with the few hundred new ones I've since added. I had a slightly more recent draft I'd made, but I lost that last year (I had to go back to the pics I'd put together for a character in a Tokyo Ghoul RP from ages ago).

I could go down that route, mind you (and just pretend he has feline features). Certainly an option.
