National History When the Moors initially invaded Spain, many Catholic nobles of the north wished to brutally force them out. However, Duke Joaquin from his seat in Logroño saw an opportunity to garner significant power for himself by appealing to converts and moderates. By establishing a firm policy of toleration for Jewish and Muslim converts, Joaquin was able to establish a more unified state with a better-trained bureaucracy and military. Using these, Joaquin was able to confront and defeat the Castilian princes centered in Leon and other cities. Upon his victory and the consolidation of his lands, Joaquin was able to claim the title of Grand Duke. He still enjoys good relations with the Moors to the south and Galicians (who aided him against the Castilians) in the west, though territorial disputes sometimes become problems.

Territory. (Picture if possible): Czech territory around Prague and northern Austria
Leader King Vladislav II
Capital City. Prague
Population. (Most populous City if possible) 2,750,000 (I couldn't find real statistics, but this seems reasonable); Prague population 38,000 (this I do know)
Military. (Branches, Numbers, details. 1% of population armed. 5% Reserves,)
Total Forces: 27,500 men.
Noble knights: 4,000
Men-at-arms: 14,000
Wagon-burg crossbowmen: 7,000
Wagon-burg flailmen: 2,500
National Religion Hussitism (including Taborites)
Language Czech
Culture Czech
Flag. (Provide Picture) https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... f_Arms.png (it's too wide for NS to handle)
National History The Hussite Kingdom of Bohemia rose in opposition to imperialistic ventures from abroad and religious abuse by the Catholic Church domestically. Normal Hussite beliefs are very similar to Catholic canon, but reject indulgences, the right of Rome to administer religion, and the requirement to maintain a corps of priests who speak Latin as the only ministers of the faith. The more radical Taborites broke off soon after the Hussite Church was founded, and they retain all of these reforms but go much further economically in that they emphasize Biblical equality and the social responsibility of Jesus. Their nobles retain all political authority (divine right), but surrender much of their economic possessions (insofar as possible while still keeping enough to afford their noble knights' equipment) to the congregation to distribute as necessary (google them, these guys were real).
