North Africa may not be completely controlled by Muslims, but they would still own a majority. The Middle East would be riddle with Muslims and a constant nuisance to the people there.

I'd say they did, but it was taken back. Have them keep control of most of Syria and Egypt, and have major ports in Africa be under Christian European control but not the surrounding lands or Morocco. The Huns will control a portion of Iraq, including Baghdad, and we will be constantly defending the European from Turkic and Persian attacks. Also, you could say we kept the Mongols from entering Iraq, leading them to go farther into Europe.

Well, the thing is, the Aztecs would never have existed if the Mayans never fell. I'm planning on maybe a war with the Incas at some point but not the Aztecs. Also, the reason I'd like a 1200s-ish time period is because for a while, Japan and I have been planning the Japanese discovery of the Americas around late 1100s (by way of the Aleutians) and slowly make their way down the coast, mowing through native tribes on the way, until they encounter us in the mid 1200s around the San Francisco bay area, both of us think the other is just another native tribe, and we war.
