You have your Scavenger teams, Kill teams, couriers who run things out to the outposts along the Alaskan Wilderness (things like food, water, medicine for the troops manning important places that serve as stopoff points for venturing teams), and the Hunter teams.

Scavengers gather up any old stuff they can find and bring it back, Kill teams patrol the out lying forests for infected, and Hunter teams hunt animals to bring back for food (anything from rabbits to bears).

Level of training: Corporal Doyle exhibits remarkable skill in wilderness survival, trap making, stealth, and marksmanship as long as the weapon is a bolt action weapon or is something similar, though it is unknown wither or not she learned those before the battalion found her. Elizabeth has issues with more modern equipment though.

Strengths: Corporal Doyle excels at surviving in the field and making due with whatever is at hand. In addition she seems to have spent a considerable amount of time in the area outside of the safe zone before she was found by battalion soldiers given her innate knowledge of the terrain outside the base. She’s also to quote one of her former instructors “An honest to god ninja” when it comes to operating in the forests in and around the safe zone.

Flaws: Elizabeth is a very distrusting person, both of those around her and of anything that can be described as modern technology. Her old school while extremely useful, have led to several instances of communication breakdowns almost gotten her killed by friendly multiple times. Other problems involve her apparent lack of tactical flexability, and she has shown herself to have issues dealing with circumstances where her stealth and traps have failed her.

Personality: Elizabeth tends to keep to herself most of the time, though it is more noticeable out in the field. On base, she tends to keep contact with others to a minimum, only talking in short, to the point sentences. Out in the field she tries to work alone whenever possible, considering teammates a liability and often ditching anyone she’s assigned with the first chance she gets.

Biography: Not much is known about Elizabeth’s child hood or early teens, and the best anyone can guess about her is that she was born in the area sometime during the year 2051. The first records of her only appear to come from 2070 after a kill team found her outside the base. After a several month long hospital stay because of complication from years of exposure and poor diet, Elizabeth applied to join the military part of the battalion. Since than she has proved to be a capable, if somewhat problematic, member of the battalion.

Level of training: 10 years of expeditionary service, basic movement technique taught by SOF.
Strengths: Has an iron will, doesn't hesitate to kill even if it is an undead child. Enjoys being on the front.
Flaws: Burning with hate, tends to be impatient and short tempered, which leads to being reckless.
Personality: Rather cold, except when it comes to killing the undead. Then her blood gets boiling.
Biography: Jackson grew up in the backwoods of Southern Washington, so she had an affinity for going outdoors doing things like camping and hiking. She was never a problem child and usually friends with everybody. But when she turned 18 she wanted to do more with her life, and enlisted in the U.S. Marines. She was put into the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, or MEU, as a breacher. She loved her job, blowing up doors with breaching charges or blowing them off their hinges with her trusty M4 Super 90. Jackson did a tour overseas and was 'lucky' to be in Seattle when the virus broke out, as she was visiting her Mother and her Sister. The local national guard and police department tried to get as many civilians to the port, where boats were being prepared to evacuate survivors to Alaska. Jackson helped with security but ultimately the defenses fell and only a handful of people made it out alive, unfortunately, her family not among the survivors. Now she kills the undead with the utmost vengeance, killing every undead enemy as if they personally were the ones who had feasted on the flesh of her family.

Sounds like a fair deal to me. How long ago was the outbreak compared to the start of the RP and how quick was the fall? Don't really need hard and fast numbers, but if the outbreak occured in the 2050s and its now the 2070s would a generation in their 20s now have not known a world without zombies? Or am I a bit off-the-mark there?
