Trudeau frowns. Foreign policy for Canada had grown increasingly tight over the past few months, with 2 wars, and an almost war. He remained quiet for a moment, considering what exactly the President was trying to say, while also considering the current status of relations between Canada and Iran.

"Well... that depends. As you know, we no longer have a diplomatic status in Iran. Something that I hope to rectify very soon. I would strongly agree that things need to change in Iran, particularly concerning their human rights and their nuclear program. However, this deal allows us a stepping stone to restart talks with Iran, as well as limiting their entire ballistic nuclear program. I think that we share similar goals. An end to the human rights stranglehold that Iran has, their open hostility and threats against Israel, and the end to the ballistic missile program. I do think that we share differing views and paths as to how to achieve that goal.

"However, that being said, the Canadian government still holds sanctions over Iran, as per the deal. However, we, as neither a Security Council member, nor a EU member, have any real power over the deal, nor are we officially party to it, but do abide by it. I would be willing to re-impose heavy sanctions on Iran, if Iran were to actually to violate the deal that they have signed. So, in other words, yes, Canada would stand by the US, should it come down to it. Other than that, what are you, exactly, planning on doing?"

"My plan only includes harsh sanctions if they hit three strikes. To hit three strikes they would also have to violate the deal. The only way I would go beyond sanctions is if they directly attack an ally like Israel. I don't want another war. The current one is bad enough. I have been getting pressure from certain congressmen to end it quickly and in our favor."

North Korea

The coalition forces prepared for the Nampo mission. Tjodands more were brought to shore and artillary had been set up. All AA in the area had been cleared meaning the airport could now be used. General McCalaster was assigned to head Coalition forces for the duration of the invasion. Farther south the 8th army had been mobalized and started deploying. Thousands of men were being put in the DMZ in case of a North invasion attempt or if orders were given to advance. More aircraft were also moved into the area. Ready for Nampo and then Pyongyang.

White House press room.

Kiser walked out and got wind the podium saying "Following devastating floods these past few days in the Midwest I have declared the area a disaster zone and frederal funds will have been made available to state and local governments. I also federalized the Indiana National Guard and ordered them to assist in Illinois due to large portions of their nation guard being used to keep the peace in Chicago. On the topic of Chicago Mayor Emanuel clearly obstructed justice and and impeded an officer from doing his job. This is simply unacceptable. I have assurances from the DA of Chicago and the Attorney General of Illinois that he will be tried to the full extent of the law. No man is above the law. Now I would like to discuss Iran. Recently I rolled out my administrations new plan in regards to Iran. This plan is fair and only requires them to behave like all other civilized nations do. In response to the policy the Iranian government released an inflammatory statement against the US. I want to make it clear that we still stand by the deal. However this doesn't mean we won't punish them for breaking it. Iran must learn that they cannot bully their way in life. US ships have never entered Iranian waters since I have been President and their claims that they have is one hundred percent false. If Iran continues the harassment of our ships then they will get a strike. And they should be warned that three strikes will not bode well for them at all. I will now take questions."

"Mr. President, Ann Ryan, Maclean's. Sir, your actions have caused serious backlash from your closest allies in Canada, particularly in the domestic sphere, but also in foreign policy. Many Canadians strongly disagree with both of these points. With Canadians involved in the war against North Korea, are you concerned about further damaging the relationship between Canada and America? Even to the point of them withdrawing from the Coalition? Also, on the issue of Chicago, considering the lack of proper authority to do so under the constitution, do you think that courts will strike down your actions as being unconstitutional? And lastly, on the topic of Iran, what happens after the 3rd strike? Why now are you rewriting the rules of the deal and is the United States really willing to go to war with another nation, while still engaged in a massive military operation in North Korea?"

"Well I'll start with the first part of your question. No I don't think Canada will withdraw from the coalition unless something major occurs. America and Canada still share a strong brotherly bond and I don't think that is something that is easily broken. Of course it is something I want to never happen but st this moment our relationship is not in danger. For the second part of your question I say only this. The mayor and governor refused to act will innocent civilians were being hurt or killed by a violent mob. I acted as anyone who held this office and cared for their citizens would have. If a court finds my actions to be inappropriate then more power to them but I will fight it. I did what I had to do to keep people safe. The federalization of troops is completely legal and has been done before on numerous occasion . Now as for Iran. I am not rewriting the deal I am simply laying out a new policy. After a third strike the US will simply reintroduce harsh sanctions on Iran. To get three strikes one strike is breaking the deal so for it to get to the point of sanctions they have to break the deal first. I don't want war and will try to avoid it. The only way War would be a possibility is if they attack us or an ally first."

Washington, DC
Reagan National Airport

The plane had landed at Dulles International Airport. It had been a good flight, short notice. The President had invited the whole Trudeau family out for a visit to Camp David, so he had obliged, brining his wife and 3 children with him. He knew that Camp David was a very nice and well known vacation spot for Presidents going way back, so he knew that it would be a very nice place for his family. He wasn't sure, however, how much down time he would have. The schedule sounded pretty busy, with meetings and a joint press conference being held. He wasn't sure what to expect, or what the main agenda of the talks would be, but he hoped that they would be able to find a common ground solution over it. America and Canada were key allies. Not just militarily, but politically and economically. It was important that those points would be reinforced. He figured though, that Iran or North Korea would be brought up at some point.

The plane had been escorted, first by Royal Canadian Air Force Hornets, then by F-16s as they entered US Airspace. The plane touched down. He looked out the window to see his American counterparts waiting to greet him. His security moved forward towards the door, as DSS and Secret Service agents on the ground below also secured the perimeter. The steps lowered from the plane and Trudeau stepped out, right behind the security team. His family followed behind him. He smiled towards the American diplomat stepping forward to him.

Beijing China
In the People's Republic of China, many new reforms were being planned. Though, a purging was well under way, and despite the loosening up on the Media, this just so happened to go unnoticed. Any people unwilling to follow the Republic into it's increasingly democratic future, they'd be cut out.

In the meantime, China was continuing its research for its own Stealth Bomber. With this, the military was hoping it'd have a lot of sway in its military operations, and the view of other powers in the way China made its Military hardware. It's got a lot of plans it needs to execute, and was doing them in a hurry.

The Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense had gone there to meet Tudeau themselves. Tillerson was closest to the plan and reached out shaking the Prime minister's hand and then his wife and children's hands. After him Mattis did the same with his signature smile. Tillerson leaned to Jutin and said "Mr. Prime Minister we will be flying y'all in on Marine One. Th President is actually on it right now but he didn't want to show the media he was here instead of with his family." Tillerson then motioned them towards Marine One. They went over and got on. In the back President Kiser sat drinking a coffee. As they entered he looked up and said "Mr. Prime Minister how are you?" Then turning to the kids he said "Ah these must be your lovely children. Pleasure to meet y'all. Anyways we will have much to discuss but we can hold off on that for now."

Trudeau stepped down and shook the hands of Tillerson and Mattis. he smiled warmly and exchanged greetings with them. His family followed behind them. Exchanging the same greetings.

"Yes, thank you. That sounds good. Yes, this is all of us, glad that we will be getting there quickly." Trudeau says in passing to Tillerson. The security teams around them ushered them quickly alongside the two American officials. Marine One, fortunately was parked not far away. The signature US Marine guard standing sharply at attention marked the fact that the President was, in fact, aboard. They moved quickly towards Marine One. Trudeau turns to Tillerson and Mattis.

Within a few moments they reach the steps. Trudeau enters up the steps quickly. He turns to see the President sitting there. He stands up as the Trudeau enters. Trudeau smiles and shakes his hand.

"Mr. President. It is good to see you here. I see that we are flying in class here. Will Secretaries Mattis and Tillerson be joining us in the talks at Camp David?"

Kiser shakes his hand and says "Ah yes this helicopter is one of a kind. And yes they will be joining us. They have some valuable information regarding.... (he paused and looked at the kids deciding what to say) issues facing our nations." Kiser motioned for them all to have a seat and then turned to the children and asked "Would any of you like a snack? I have them keep some on here for when my children ride." The helicopter took off and headed towards Camp David.

Camp David

Everything was being prepared for their arrival. Media was kept a distance from the LZ. Close enough for pictures and video but far enough not to bother the leaders or their families. The first family had moved outside and waited. Kiser's three still living children were standing next to their mother.

Reagan Airport, DC

His family had gotten on board. The oldest, Xavier at 10, shook the hand of the President with a wide grin. His two youngest daughters sheepishly smiled in the background, but put on a good face. Sophie, his wife also smiled and shook the President's hand.

"Bonjour-hello. Thank you. It is a pleasure to meet you." She responds. Trudeau nudges Xavier as the President asks the kids if they wanted a snack.

"Yes, please. Thank you." He says. The family sits down as take their seats as the Secret Service and Canadian Mounties PM security team settle in around them. Trudeau looks to the President.

Of course as long as your parents want you to have sugar right now." Turning to Justin he says "Yes we will." The helicopter flies fast towards the Camp. It is close and starts to go down for landing. Below the First family and a small honor guard was clearly visible. Kiser had grabbed some all of the snacks and placed them on the table saying "Take whatever and however much you want." As they landed Kiser motioned for the Canadians to go first. As they started unloading he let Justin out first then followed behind.

Anyways shall we go and start the meeting and get some stuff out of the way before dinner." He motioned for the PM to follow him as he walked towards the office entrance. Once inside he motioned at a chair on the other side of his desk. Then he sat down and pressed a button and a touch screen slide up were both could see it. "Let's start with North Korea. Anything you wanna discuss first?"

Chinese Media
In the Chinese government, it has been decided the internet censorship would cease. They also refrained from banning video games, making freedom of press more important as well. In China, with the increasing friendliness towards the Media, Fox China News had been set up. Along with other things, Chinese gaming companies now feel more hard pressed for top notch content. This produced the video game tital: Fallen Skies: Defensive Front, a game based of the Chinese experience during ww2. Its become extremely popular in China, and begging to make its way to countries like America, Japan, and England.

Trudeau smiled at Kiser as they sat down. North Korea was definitely at the top of his list to discuss. He nods.

"Well, yes. Korea is a key issue. I know that it is now official that a Canadian Commander is taking charge of the southern front, while the flanking assault is remaining American. I think that's good. First and foremost, Canada is ready and wiling to stick it out for the long haul. Recruitment is up, budgeting is corrected. Our national industry is fully functioning and operation. Our production of F-35s have increased for a short-term war time issue only. By the end of next month, Canada should have near 75,000 troops ready for deployment, close to 100,000 after 5 months. Most, will be ready for deployment in Korea. We still maintain a small peacekeeping force in Kosovo, but mostly NATO funded, and we also will resupply and reinforce our small Kurdish-Canadian division as they chose to call themselves, in Southern Turkey, well, Modern Kurdistan now. However, with our commitment, we need to be sure that US is willing for the long haul as well. ROK is obviously fully in on it. However, the long discussion is most important. HOw do we measure victory? Is it just repelling the North's invasion? Or is it only complete once a united Korea exists? I know that many South Koreans are avidly in favour of the latter, though, if it becomes to costly, then many Canadians at home might just become war-weary and seek peace. I'm sure that the same could happen here, in America."

Kiser leaned back in his chair before saying"Success to me is when Kim Jung Un is siting in a cell. We cannot simply inflict some surface damage to the North Korean's. We must treat them like a week and the only way to kill off a weed is by pulling it up by its roots. Kim Jung Un is that root. Now onto our plans. I am going to be adding the XVIII Airborne Corps, another two marine divisions, 250 thousand National Guardsmen, 250k reserve members, the III Corps, and the I corps. They will be under the 8th army. In total we are looking at around 1 million US troops. So what do you think?"
