Actually thinking about it, i might just bring back a character from another HM RP a while back, with a few tweaks of course. Trans will know.

Mask: Giant Asian Hornet. (Warning: possible nightmare fuel.) . The mask itself is constructed from a hardened plastic which limits flexibility but increases facial protection, the eyepieces are made from a semi-translucent perspex, resistant to shatter.
Appearance: Wei is just short of 6ft tall and is a slim build with pale skin. A tattoo of a serpent winding up a vine occupies most of his right arm,
Weapon of Choice: Meat Cleaver.
Apparel: Wei often wears a Leather Biker Jacket despite not actually owning a motorcycle, with just a plain white t-shirt underneath. For ease of mobility, Tracksuit Pants offer less restriction on movement compared to jeans or tighter trouserware. Semi fashionable sneakers allow for nimble movement and wearer comfort, although Wei's are a little worn around the soles and in dire need of replacement.

Personality: Wei isn't the most forthcoming or expressive person in the world, rather tending to take a back seat and observe the world from his own recluse. The man does however, posses miracle willpower and radiates an aura of confidence about him, inside he still feels rather insecure and has a permanent guilty conscience about his actions both past and present. With a skewed moral compass and penchant for violent actions, he often worries about his own mental health and thinks little about the repercussions and consequences of his 'work'.

Bio (one paragraph at least): Wei was born on the West Coast, Los Angeles to be precise. His family were second generation Japanese immigrants and owned a rather successful restaurant specializing in Japanese and other Asian culinary dishes and was considered one of the best by critics and patrons alike, it was a business that their parents had poured their money and lives into and was something to be proud of. Like many large self run businesses at the time, it was a prime target for protection racketing by various criminal groups vying for control of the district. Wei was a model student and found very little time for himself between working in the kitchens and studying, from a young age he was in the back rooms washing pots and cleaning dishes and his parents, wanting him to continue the family legacy began giving him cooking lessons, Wei however wasn't interested, his mind lay elsewhere. Kung-Fu films had captured his attention, he would put off studying to watch them on the television and much to the annoyance of his parents, liked to practice around the house, often ending up more injured than his mock enemies.

As time rolled on and Wei reached high school age, his parents business was coming under large amounts of pressure from newly formed Russian Mob cells within the city, wishing to deny the local Japanese Yakuza a foothold, the two factions had long been trying to establish a more permanent presence, though Wei's parents were concrete on the matter which obviously annoyed the wrong people. One evening, after-hours in the kitchen, Wei was doing his usual sweeping and mopping up whilst his parents were upstairs in the office going over the books. Unknown to them both, five white clad men entered the building concealing automatic pistols and stormed upstairs. Wei heard multiple shots and screams before hiding in a cupboard whilst the mobsters swept the building, eventually leaving when they deemed the building empty. Wei rushed upstairs to find both his parents dead.

Wei was grief stricken and dropped out from school and was forced to move in with his elderly Aunt who tried to console and persuade Wei to continue on, but he had other things on his mind. Wei, in his time at school and obsession with Martial Arts had befriended a local Karate instructor whom he attended as a hobby, although this time it would become more than a hobby. Often training for hours a day, Wei crafted both his body and mind to match, all the while searching for the men who killed his parents considering the police had botched that job due to corruption, incompetence or a mixture of both, even turning to the local Yakuza for help. Eventually he learned that it was infact the Russian mob who had ordered a hit on his parents, the men responsible long gone, but he did learn of their presence in Miami and after deliberation, used the money left by his parents to move to the East Coast and bought a pokey apartment and found a job in a Sushi Bar, putting his parents cooking tutorials to good use. From there he continued tracking the mob, working night and day until eventually a strange package rolled up at his doorstep, inside a Wasp mask and a strange message. 'Pick up the Phone'



Strengths: Wei first and foremost is a formidable hand to hand fighter and skilled with a blade and has perfected his own unorthadox style of combat combining elements of many conventional martial arts. That and he's a surprisingly good chef.

Weaknesses: Never actually before killed a man and only really engaged in combat with a couple of low level street thugs on various occasions. His desire for revenge probably impairs his ability to think straight in tight or fast moving situations.

Heh. It'd be cool to see one group develop into a Fans-esque scenario where they bond over the murders and another group begin to absolutely hate one another, or something.

Guess I'm trying to say is that it'll be interesting to see how the group dynamics will turn out.

Ubaria, great job on the app. Really like the scary mask and stuff as well, definitely Accepted. Though not a huge fan of the weapon (normally I prefer something more violent like the power drill or hammer) it's honestly not that big of a deal. App is pretty damn good.

Parcia, we're only accepting animal masks right now. Also, I feel the same way about the weapon as I did for Ubaria's, but it's still not that big of a deal.

While I really like the sushi knife, unfortunately Altito's character already has a kitchen knife, so I'd go with the cleaver.

That's fine, about the antiques. Just would prefer something more brutal for the weapon, as in just killing Russians with whatever you can find.

For animal masks, 50 Blessings typically sends you the mask when you sign up for their newsletter. And typically, they send an animal mask.

50 Blessings is a brutal, patriotic, nationalist movement. They would never allow a Russian, no matter if it's a defector to work. It's less about your occupation or what kind of person you are. If you're Russian, and you're in America you're marked by 50 Blessings.

I personally think we could use a character who is basically a perfect example of what 50 Blessings wants, something close to Jake but maybe not as hotheaded.

This gives me an idea, A Vietnam vet with a severe case of Ptsd, Commie hatred, and possibly slight racism towards vietmese, and might or might not be acting on a ptsd flashback seeing Russians as Vietcong.

I don't think the Vietnam War happened in the HM timeline. The Cold War obviously got hot, when it did is undetermined but by 1985 the war is still ongoing and is currently in Hawaii. What we know is that the Soviets did some island hoping across the Pacific.

Now maybe there was a Vietnam conflict, but judging by the Cold War getting Hot I think some thing else probably happened.
