Does she have some sort of agenda? No, she's a Grifindor. They're not conniving enough for that. So this must be some sort of guilt she's experiencing.
"It'll be fine," she muttered, looking down at her feet before looking up to meet Rachel's eyes. "just a little accident is all."
Rachel slipped her hands into her robe pockets as Caitie finally made eye contact. While Rachel kept her expression unchanged, she managed to look back at the piercing eyes that seemed to gaze right through her head. A few moments of silence followed Caitie's response.
Well this managed to get as awkward as possible.
"All...right." Rachel said as she cleared her throat once everyone made it inside the classroom. She took her usual seat next to Adam and set her permission slip down on the desk. She crossed her arms and said to him in an obviously sarcastic tone.
"It sure is great having people hate me because my father married a muggle."
