Hayleen Kawley is going to do something big. There will be an event happening in a mall or in the airport. Everyone can be at the airport/mall, but it's not an obligation.
After that happened, the whole LA, and possibly the world, is going in for a shock. Not entirely big, but to the point where one wonders how he is able to do that.

Would you prefer that our characters are at the airport/mall, or not? I could easily have mine go there, or have her do something else.

Okay, then I should probably head home for the holidays, then...

Super Identity: Parasite
Real Identity: For all intensive purposes, Parasite is known officially as VX-101.
Age: Varies, depending on host. VX-101 was apparently synthesized approximately a year prior to the events of this RP, though.
Gender: Varies, depending on host. As a virulent agent, VX-101 doesn't really have a "gender", but for now I'll use a masculine personality.
Nationality: Ditto.
Appearance: Ditto. VX-101, when underneath a microscope, is a massive and notably red pathogen, able to change its shape and size like most other organisms of its size. To the naked eye, it is nearly invisible for obvious reasons.
Costume Appearance (If you have one): Would a virus really have a tiny costume?
Height: Varies depending on host. VX-101, in full size, is 400 nm
Weight: Ditto. As for VX-101, I doubt this would even be a thing for a, YKNOW, microscopic organism.
Powers:
- Virus Mimicry: VX-101, obviously, is a virus - at least, one with sentience, and obviously retains the abilities commonly found in an organism of his likes.
- The VX-101 Agent: Originally intended to be a "cure to end all cures", the VX-101 agent became the exact opposite to that, and, after gaining sentience and bonding with a mutant gene, would grow to become something much more powerful.. something nobody ever expected it to become. While VX-101 can act normally as a conventional virus, its sentience and adoption of a mutant gene allows it to do much more than that.
- Parasitic "Symbiosis": VX-101 feeds mainly on intelligence, which in turn allows it to become more intelligent overall. Whatever host is infected by VX-101 feels absolutely no symptoms, and, most of the time, is unaware that VX-101 has even hijacked their brain. To keep the user alive, VX-101 effectively adopts and becomes the personality of its host, albeit somewhat "changed" in nature, meaning more aggressive habits and decisions. When VX-101 has finished feeding on intelligence or other matter, it may spread itself to another organism, leaving the previous host in a weakened and often fatal state.
- Possessive Body Manipulation: This is where the "mutant" part of VX-101 comes in. Officially to VX-101, this is known as "rapid adaptation", where the body may rapidly adapt itself to monstrous figures depending on the need. VX-101 is capable of altering the genetic structure of hosts to even the most extreme of levels, ranging from simple bodily fixes to recover from a car crash, to becoming a monstrous mass of biomass that is barely recognizable as a human, if anything else. The main application behind this is for consuming other matter, namely other humans and altering 101's own body structure, but can also be used for combative applications, or even for defending the host itself. It should be noted that VX-101 feels no pain in the transformation, giving the host a higher pain tolerance overall when under 101's direct control.
TL;DR: Virus hijacks brains and turns people into The Thing
Equipment: None. Depending on the host, however, what's on hand will work.
Weaknesses: Besides strong medication, antibodies and the like, VX-101 is completely vulnerable when exposed to extreme temperatures, both hot and cool, and from extreme temperature changes. VX-101 will become
Significantly weaker if it goes a day without consuming, and is completely dependent on its host for nutrients and food. Therefore, starving him is a viable option. When in his virus state, VX-101 is effectively blind, relying on his senses to guide him rather than the sight of a host.
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Personality: VX-101, while mostly not being able to express his emotions in his viral state, is known to be an extremely manipulative threat, while also being a quick, resourcefu learner. When in control of a host, VX-101 is known to bring out the worst in people, to the point where the individual seems like an almost completely different person entirely. His overwhelming ego and general disregard for the host's health whatsoever often causes the virus to make dangerous choices, both for the host and its controller.
Occupation: Varies, depending on host.
Background: A year prior to the events of this RP, an anonymous scientist synthesized a vaccine to be used for the worst of diseases in the world, namely cancer of all things. Although for the most part underfunded, the scientist used his intensive knowledge in the field, combined with a small team of loyal researchers and his impressive intelligence, to produce VX-101, meant to be a universal cure to the worst diseases that humans face, such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, and more. While this seemed plausible at first, VX-101 did not sell at all commercially since the thought of a potentially dangerous, genetically engineered virus being sold to pharmacies, didn't really ring well with most people. Without any hope of resuming the program in the future, most, if not all, of the scientist's researchers left, save for a select few still determined to finish VX-101. Determined to produce some results, the scientist inserted his own genes to the pathogen, desperate to produce some form of results before he would completely abandon the project.
To the surprise of the scientist, the virus mutated as it bonded with scientist's, as of now, untapped mutant genes, which would soon allow the virus to grow into the aggressive mutated VX-101 agent we know now. A few wrong choices in the lab led to the accidental breach of the virus, which in turn killed off the scientist's fellow researchers one by one but, strangely, left the scientist himself live for reasons that he would find out later. After gaining enough intelligence to surpass even his conscious state, the virus took up the pseudonym of "Pararsite", and would embark on his campaign to feed and spread himself throughout the largest population of people to nourish himself.
A year following that, VX-101 would find itself infected inside of an unlucky and sick host onboard a plane to LA, unaware of the Trojan horse that he had become..
Theme song: I'll look for this later.
RP experience: I know for sure I've been in some RPs with the OP before in the past, but here's just a notable one from recently: Infinite Justice

You can try.
Let's see....cafes, restaurant, all those places usually have people with the most in quantity terms.

Yeah, I'm taking a look at the LAX Tom Bradley terminal map right now. Dang. 5 stories, 150 restaurants, voted "most technologically advanced terminal", and construction going on until 2018.
Problem is, I was planning on having my character Shauna try to talk to her customer who was going to be in security, and I wasn't planning on having her going through screening. But the food court is on the 3rd floor...
Hmm... Maybe I can have her talk her way through and try to find her customer who's buying the house she's brokering... who just happens to be on the 3rd level... near the food court...
