Nope, the legendary weapons were the powerful relics used by the 8 heroes to defeat the dragons. You can make a Pugi inspired weapon though instead.

Yeah, we have a Dragonstone, a staff and a Lance. Still need a bow, axe, tome, and a hidden weapon (knives or shruikan). The sword spot is locked for plot reasons.

I did sneak in a tome app at the end of my last post. Dunno if you need me to change anything there.

I'm referring to Dawnstar (the Legendary weapon roster is right below the character roster) and the Tome is accepted. I'll add it to the list.

Shouldn't we have legendary tomes for Light, Dark, and Anima?

My legendary weapon.

Name: Raesvelg
Appearance (Picture or written): The Raesvelg is simple at first glance, but becomes more unnerving as one looks at it longer. It is far stronger than it looks.
Type (Sword, Axe, Lance, Bow, Staff or Tome: Axe
Special Properties: The Raesvelg is made from a material stronger and lighter than any known, meaning it is just as powerful as a heavy battle axe yet as light as a short sword. It also has the ability to control wind, but this power is difficult to use. No user has ever been able to make more than a strong gust.
Weapon Creator: Unknown
Previous Wielder and Current Wielder (if someone still wields it): Always used by Crusaders of the Oathsworn and stored when there is no Crusader.
Weapon's History: According to legend the Raesvelg was a weapon wielded by the legendary warriors who defeated the dragons, worshipped by the Oathsworn as the Divine Crusaders. It's history however is not known until it was found by the Oathsworn three centuries ago. It's discovery was taken as one of the events that proved the validity of the Oathsworn's religion. Shortly after the Oathsworn capital was founded and the modern state was created.

According to legends the weapon was uncovered from the earth by a young scavenger named Carlson. Carlson took the weapon back to his village, but over many weeks his fellow villagers went mad to the point of psychosis. Immune to this Carlson took the weapon back and his village was cured. Carlson however then realized he could exploit the weapon's power. Carlson created a group of mercenaries and used the weapon to his advantage. He would pick fights with groups he couldn't win and then offer the weapon as tribute when beaten. His mercenaries would then swoop in and ravage his foes when they inevitably became consumed by the madness. Carlson abused this until he became feared as an unbeatable warrior. He could take out entire cities without losses, and his services were in high demand.

Carlson eventually encountered the Oathsworn when they were still nomadic and tried to pull the same trick. He learned however that they were immune to the weapon's effects just as he was. When he tried to learn why he was told by an old man named Pergius of the Oathsworn religion. They saw the weapon as a holy weapon of the Divine Crusaders. When told of the weapon's effects on people Pergius suggested that those who follow the path of the Divine Crusaders are unaffected, and that if Carlson was immune he must be an instrument of their will. Carlson was skeptical. He murdered Pergius and retook his weapon.

Carlson's life degraded from then on. Though his tricks still worked, he suffered bad luck at every turn. His mercenaries seemed to constantly challenge his authority or desert. His health failed him and he seemed to age twenty years in five. Food went bad and plagues ravaged his forces. Carlson became convinced he was cursed and tried to turn his life around. He disbanded his mercenaries and gave all his wealth to peasants, but only after living for years as a beggar did he even think of getting rid of his axe. Carlson tried to get rid of it many times. He tried selling it but the buyers would always return it. He tried giving it away but nobody wanted it. Once he threw it in a river but weeks later found a village succumbed to madness. Sure enough the axe was found in a house. At this point Carlson began to believe the Oathsworn. Perhaps he was an instrument of the Divine Crusaders, and perhaps he was meant to deliver it to the Oathsworn.

Carlson, a haggard man wearing beggar clothes and looking far older than he really was, returned to the Oathsworn on his knees and begged them to take the axe. When they did he asked to learn of the Path of the Divine Crusaders. When Carlson learned his youth was restored and Carlson was granted inhuman power. Carlson had fulfilled his purpose and with his power he purged the axe of madness so that anyone could wield it. He also restored the life of Pergius, who went on to become one of the Oathsworn's first Hierarchs, and then ascended to heaven. He lost his physical form and ascended to divinity.

All of this however is a legend passed down by the Oathsworn. The Raesvelg doesn't appear in recorded history until after the Oathsworn capital had been founded, and it isn't known how much of the legend is true. What is known is that the Raesvelg is reserved for the Crusaders, the greatest warriors in the Oathsworn. When a new Crusader is created they are given the axe. When there is no Crusader it is kept in storage.

Name:Farvel
Appearance (Picture or written):
Image

Type (Sword, Axe, Lance, Bow, Staff or Tome:Bow
Special Properties:Farvel acts like a brave bow, which allows the user to draw and reload the bow quicker then usual. Farvel is also known to give the wielder inhuman reflexes and speed.
Weapon Creator:Unknown
Previous Wielder and Current Wielder (if someone still wields it):Morigan Doyle
Weapon's History:How Farvel was made is still a mystery today. A few ancient texts mention the weapon time to time, but have never mentioned the blacksmith who created the weapon. The weapon has been passed down generation to generation through the Doyle family ever since it was first found by Morigan's great grandfather, Hugo, in an abandoned shipwreck, in a locked, ordinate chest. Why it was stored there is still a mystery. According to records, Farvel was originally a weapon meant to bring peace. Its currently wielder, Morigan, seems to be fulfilling its intended purpose.

Name:Morigan
Age:54
Gender:Male
Home Nation:Zendle
Allegiance paid to:Zendle
Class:(Your class should reflect your character's background and current occupation)Warrior
Appearance (Picture appreciated):
Image

Personality: Morigan is actually more softhearted when compared to his ancestors. He avoids conflict with civilians, follows a warrior's code, and is surprisingly religious. He only shows no mercy to criminals. He is wise, caring, and selfless. He cares little about gold.
Skills/Powers:Leadership and Strategy: Morigan was raised to be the next leader of a ruthless pirate crew. He has a large amount of knowledge on leadership and tactics.
Weaponry (Only what your class can use):Bows, Axes
Biography (At least a well written Paragraph please):The Doyle family are infamous pirates known for attacking any ship or port that doesn't surrender their goods and gold immediately. Morigan was bred for the pirates life. He only started practicing combat at age 10 and participated in his first raid at age 15. He quickly adapted to his pirate life and much of the crew adored the young pirate. Some even saw him as the return of Hugo, the most feared pirate in the Doyle family and Morigans great-grandfather. However, Morigan quickly changed his behavior after one raid which resulted in a priest being captured. Although it was forbidden for Morigan to visit the prison cells. He commonly snuck in and visited the priest to hear his stories. The priest apparently had a wife who passed away shortly after giving birth to their daughter, and was heading back home to his daughter. Eventually, one of the crew members caught Morigan talking to the priest and reported it to Morigan's father. The priest was executed the next day.

Morigan blamed himself for the death of the priest every since then. He frequently refused He started making plans for when he inherits his families ship, the crew would become a mercenary group and hold morals higher then gold. After he turned 25, his father was killed in a raid. Morigan gained control of the ship and inherited his families bow, Farvel. He revealed is plans to his crew the next day. Most of the crew revolted after the announcement and tried to take the ship for themselves. Morrigan and his small group of followers somehow defended off against the traitors. Most of them were killed by Morigan in battle. The rest walked the plank into the sea.

Morigan, with whats left of his crew, started working as a mercenary leader for the next 30 years. Raising his blade against criminals for free and any other jobs at a price. He was recently paid a large amount of gold to train some local Zendle recruits.

RP Example:
Notes: Has a small mercenary company of minor characters.

I wasted today. Oops.

Name: Syrus, Captain of the Guard
Age: 44
Gender: Male
Home Nation: Pyrhen
Allegiance paid to: Pyrhen
Class: Wyvern Lord
Appearance: Image
Personality: Over the many years Syrus has been working as a mercenary for the Guard, he's seen enough greed and darkness of the heart to forever dull his spirits about the goodness of humanity. Syrus is known as being sullen and suspicious of good intentions. Syrus touts this as good battle sense, though, that his suspicions about the real intentions of people allows him to correctly sniff out disloyal Guardsmen and misleading deeds.
Skills/Powers: Syrus is a skilled lance-user and a talented flier after spending so many years wielding a lance and flying his wyvern. After spending the last several years as Captain of the Pyrhen Guard, Syrus is a skilled leader and has earned the respect of his unit. Syrus is a skilled negotiator, working for pay raises and contracts between the democratic council of elders in Pyrhen, the various merchants, and the Guard.
Weaponry: Lance, Sword, Axe
Biography: Syrus is old enough to remember when Pyrhen was not an independent nation. As a young boy, Syrus watched the glorious knights and soldiers of Oskano and Zendle when he traveled with his merchant father. Watching the gleaming armor and the honor by which the soldiers trained and sparred, Syrus was quickly infatuated with them: Syrus had to become a knight. He was a teenager when his home city of Pyrhen broke off to form it's own trading city-state, and as he grew up and learned the ways of the world and how the world worked, Syrus became less and less infatuated with the nobility and honor of the Oskano nights, and more and more interested in the amount of gold that the caravan guards of Pyrhen were paid. As a young teenager, in an effort to support his aging parents, Syrus joined the caravan Guard. It was here that the Guard found in Syrus a skilled flier. He was given a young wyvern to fly, and in no time, Syrus was one of the Pyrhen Caravan Guard's most skilled wyvern riders. Flash-forward several years to the present, where the now-elder Syrus is the captain of the Pyrhen Guard. But unlike previous Captains, Syrus still flies his loving wyvern, Glynda, onto trade routes, flying over caravans with the handful of other skilled fliers the Guard has to offer.
RP Example: Project Warfighter
Notes: Will end up putting Syrus' friends/lieutenants as their own characters, but Asher and Felix.

Name: Asher, the Oskano Assassin
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Home Nation: Oskano
Allegiance paid to: Pyrhen
Class: Rogue
Appearance: Image
Personality: Years of killing and stealing has dulled Asher's sense of humanity, and the Oskano Assassin has become what others would consider as callous. He often makes jokes that only the darkest senses of humour would enjoy, and his lack of respect for an individual's life strikes fear into the hearts of even those under his command in the Pyrhen Guard. Another issue is Asher's sins, of which there are many. Asher's love of money, women, and alcohol are known throughout the Guard. Some of the more wealthy in Pyrhen refuse to trust dealing with Asher for their lack of trust, something that doesn't upset Asher one bit; he's known for telling Captain Syrus that whenever someone pays more, he'll turn in an instant.
Skills/Powers: Asher has spent years as a professional thief and assassin, due to this, he has become light on his feet, allowing him to perform acrobatic moves in the midst of combat that others would find inhuman. Because of this past, Asher is also able to pick locks without the aid of tools. As an assassin, Asher has learned how to silently and quickly kill targets without raising the alarms of others around him.
Weaponry: Swords, Knives, Hidden Weapons
Biography: The Oskano Assassin is not a cheap sword to keep around, but as long as the coin flows, Asher's loyalty can be bought. Four years ago, the young thief and contract killer was chased down after murdering a particularly succesful Pyrhen merchant. Captured by the Pyrhen Guard, the Guard's captain, Syrus, recognized Asher for who he was and gave him a simple offer: Get on Pyrhen's payroll as a member of the Guard, or be sent to prison and ultimately sent to death. Asher made the most efficient decision, he chose life and money and a place among the Guard. Since then, his sword and his abilities have earned him a respected place among the Pyrhen Guard, his skills at breaking into locked doors and chests are unparalleled, and his close combat skills are superb. The Oskano Assassin is a force to be reckoned with as the Guard's second-in-command.
RP Example: Project Warfighter
Notes: N/A

Name: Felix, Guard Scout
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Home Nation: Hieronapolis
Allegiance paid to: Pyrhen
Class: Bow Knight
Appearance: http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af10 ... cb2ccc.jpg
Personality: Being one of the youngest warriors in the Pyrhen Guard, Felix has never abandoned his childlike wonder of the world. He's easy to amaze and quick to smile and laugh. Felix's spirit is known throughout most of the caravan and even the mere presence of his smiling face can make a trip easier on everyone.
Skills/Powers: Felix has become a skilled bowman on horseback, and while not a especially rare skill, it is uncommon enough for Felix to be able to use it in combat when others have to focus on close weapons. Felix's real skill comes in his optimistic attitude. His spirit and uplifting attitude has a positive effect on the morale of all of his surrounding Guardsmen. Even in the midst of battle, Felix's spirit can put a smile on even the most dour warrior.
Weaponry: Bow, Sword
Biography: Much like the young Syrus, Felix as a child fell in love with the look of the military, but unlike the elder Captain of the Guard, Felix retained that love up until his joining of a Pyrhen trade caravan as they traveled through Hieronapolis on their way to Zendle. Always too nervous to join what he considered a "formal" military unit, the Pyrhen Guard was right up his alley, and when he wasn't being Chivalrous, the money wasn't bad, either. Since his joining, Felix has become a valuable member of the Guard, acting as a forward scout and lookout for ground caravans and a personal bodyguard for travelling merchants.
RP Example: Project Warfighter

I just looked through the thread again. I do not know what staff you are talking about. The gravity one from the world building thread? Eh, that seems more like a weapon Miravere would have, not the Oathsworn. So I'm going to deny it, and get back to work on the IC.

Also can I still make the staff I mentioned earlier as a non-legendary weapon

I just looked through the thread again. I do not know what staff you are talking about. The gravity one from the world building thread? Eh, that seems more like a weapon Miravere would have, not the Oathsworn. So I'm going to deny it, and get back to work on the IC.

What about the above app for the legendary axe?
TG me about my avatars for useless trivia.

A very good link right here.

The first Galactic Republic wrote:My legendary weapon.

Accepted, IC is up in a second.

The United Remnants of America wrote:I wasted today. Oops.

Name: Syrus, Captain of the Guard
Age: 44
Gender: Male
Home Nation: Pyrhen
Allegiance paid to: Pyrhen
Class: Wyvern Lord
Appearance: (Image)

Appearance: (Image)

Notes: N/A

I'm assuming most if not all the Zendle characters are affiliated with the battling army that we're starting with? I'll get a post up tomorrow morning

I would say your character would be in Artys' calvary division. This battle will end fairly quickly, and thus the characters will meet in the dead man's land.

Not every character has to start in the Jassasin, Zendle area but I would prefer they get there with in two or three posts.
