The date is January 20, 2017. In the United States, the President takes the oath of office-in North Korea, machinations brew, Europe struggles against new waves of populism, the Far Eastern nations glare daggers at each other over the South China Sea, while Africa struggles in its path towards modernity. The stage is set.

Damascus, Syria

Sunset. It's always nice to watch the sunset when you have nothing better to do.

In all honesty, that was how Assad felt. There was nothing else to do, but there were probably a lot of things that he could be doing, but at the time, he was in a very upset state. Tired, drained, exhausted, whatever word for "tired" you use, he felt it. He rubbed his face, feeling like every attempt proposed to bring Syria back together was ending in total nightmare, and he decided to take an hour to sit in front of a window and escape into the dark recesses of his brain.

Sure, the United States was getting a new president, but, at this point, Assad felt like an animal in a shelter that had endured abuse from its previous owner; how could he trust anyone else, with his fear of being abused again? This Kiser man was going to be tested, but how? Assad was afraid to call and congratulate him. Maybe that would be baby steps. Maybe Assad could have just a tiny ray of light shed on him for once by attempting to make some sort of peace. Let the animal sniff this new person's hand for a minute.

The sun disappeared in the western horizon, leaving a dark-orange, red, and pinkish hue settling just below the Damascus skyline. Assad stood up, sore from sitting in one position for a little over an hour. An emptiness began to gnaw at his stomach. He hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. Hell, he hadn't eaten in a regular pattern for the last six years. Three meals one day, maybe one or none the next. His entire metabolic and physiological balance was thrown out-of-whack. He was thinner, more easily stressed, fearful, tearful, and always tired. Sometimes it was hard to look like you're OK in front of a camera, but the last thing he wanted was for the population that supported him to be worried, to be doubtful.

Eventually, that mask was going to break.

Assad went to bed early, after checking messages from his cabinet. Nothing major had happened. The Russians were still doing their thing in northern Syria. He lay awake, long after his wife had fallen asleep. He was exhausted, but couldn't seem to sleep. He ended up lying awake for almost a half-hour before falling into a fitful, dreamless sleep.

January 20th, 2016
11:55-12:00

Brandon's heart was beating fast. In a few seconds he would become the 45th President. He cleared his throat as the Chief Justice started. Finally Kiser opened his mouth and said "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." It was done. HE was the most powerful man in the world.
He stepped up to the mic to give his address, clearing his throat, he said
“Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans, and people of the world: thank you.
We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people.
Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for years to come.
We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done. Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent.
Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or from one party to another – but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American People.
For too long, a small group in our nation’s Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.
Washington flourished – but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered – but the jobs left, and the factories closed.
The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation’s Capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.
That all changes – starting right here, and right now, because this moment is your moment: it belongs to you! It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America. This is your day. This is your celebration. And this, the United States of America, is your country.
What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people. January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again.
The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.
Everyone is listening to you now. You came by the tens of millions to become part of a historic movement the likes of which the world has never seen before. At the center of this movement is a crucial conviction: that a nation exists to serve its citizens.
Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves.
These are the just and reasonable demands of a righteous public. But for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists: Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities; rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation; an education system, flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of knowledge; and the crime and gangs and drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.
This American carnage stops RIGHT HERE and stops RIGHT NOW. We are one nation – and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success. We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny.
The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans. For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry;
Subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military; We've defended other nation’s borders while refusing to defend our own;
And spent trillions of dollars overseas while America's infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay.
We’ve made other countries rich while the wealth, strength, and confidence of our country has disappeared over the horizon.
One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not even a thought about the millions upon millions of American workers left behind.
The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed across the entire world.
But that is the past. And now we are looking only to the future.
We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power.
From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land.
From this moment on, it’s going to be America First. Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families. We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies, and destroying our jobs. Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength.
I will fight for you with every breath in my body – and I will never, ever let you down.
America will start winning again, winning like never before. We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders. We will bring back our wealth. And we will bring back our dreams.
We will build new roads, and highways, and bridges, and airports, and tunnels, and railways all across our wonderful nation.
We will get our people off of welfare and back to work – rebuilding our country with American hands and American labor.
We will follow two simple rules: Buy American and Hire American.
We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world – but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first.
We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to follow.
We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones – and unite the civilized world against Radical Islamic Terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the Earth.
At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the United States of America, and through our loyalty to our country, we will rediscover our loyalty to each other.
When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.
The Bible tells us, “how good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.”
We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity. When America is united, America is totally unstoppable. There should be no fear – we are protected, and we will always be protected.
We will be protected by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement and, most importantly, we are protected by God.
Finally, we must think big and dream even bigger. In America, we understand that a nation is only living as long as it is striving.
We will no longer accept politicians who are all talk and no action – constantly complaining but never doing anything about it.
The time for empty talk is over. Now arrives the hour of action.
Do not let anyone tell you it cannot be done. No challenge can match the heart and fight and spirit of America.
We will not fail. Our country will thrive and prosper again. We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the mysteries of space, to free the Earth from the miseries of disease, and to harness the energies, industries and technologies of tomorrow.
A new national pride will stir our souls, lift our sights, and heal our divisions. It is time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget: that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag. And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they fill their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty Creator.
So to all Americans, in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, and from ocean to ocean, hear these words: You will never be ignored again. Your voice, your hopes, and your dreams, will define our American destiny. And your courage and goodness and love will forever guide us along the way.
Together, We Will Make America Strong Again. We Will Make America Wealthy Again.
We Will Make America Proud Again.
We Will Make America Safe Again....
and Yes, Together, We Will Make America Great Again. Thank you, God Bless You, And God Bless America.
Brandon R. Kiser
45th President of the United States
OOC: NOTE THIS IS TRUMP’S SPEECH. I COPIED THIS FROM RAYCOM INDUSTRIES WHICH OWNS NBC.

After the congressional lunch Kiser and his wife and three kids entered The Beast. The parade went smoothly with Kiser and his family getting out to walk and wave to the Secret Service's annoyance. After arriving at the reviewing stand Kiser stood by the window saluting when military groups came by. After about an hour and a half it finished and Kiser and his family went inside with Kiser and his VP Mike Pence saluting every soldier.

January 20th, 2016
9:00

After dinner with his family and his VP and his family Kiser and his advisors entered the Oval Office. Kiser carried the Winston Churchill bust and placed it on a table. Then he sat down and signed into office his Secretaries of Defense, Homeland Security, State, Treasury, Energy, and his Attorney General. Then he signed an executive order telling federal agencies to stop enforcing Obamacare rules on individuals in their agencies and to also start working on ways to alleviate the damage of the ACA. After that he had his VP swear in the Secretaries and then retired to bed.

The Islamic Nation of Iraq

الأمة الإسلامية من العراق

Baghdad, 1500, January 20, 2017

Image

From the high tower of his personal compound, where the muezzin would ring out the call to prayer, Zakai Ibn Tahu, Diya Al Din surveyed his domain, and found that it was good.

The streets glistened, as men went about their business-sometimes a woman beside them as well, safely escorted, and covered as modesty demanded. Yes, he had brought real decency to this country, he thought to himself. He had done well.

Not that the rest of the world seemed to notice. To them, Islam would always be a puzzle. They could not submit to the will of Allah. Some few would come to him, and would be welcomed into the umma, and the brotherhood, but so many more refused. In the West, and America, with all its power, his brothers and sisters were either treated as demons by those People of the Book so sadly mislead, or praised by those who did not know them, and did not understand what true submission was.

He glanced upwards, as a pair of Flankers glided in, preparing for a landing at Baghdad's flourishing airport. He was reminded briefly of his negotiations now closing, to acquire the C variety of the craft. He would hope to see that through.

He had heard that today the United States had "elected" a new leader. He was more concerned, or intrigued, by the man in the Sweedish state who had chosen a platform tailored towards his brethren. Whether this was a sign of true submission, or the pandering of the decadent West was yet to be seen. All would continue as was willed by the One.

He willed himself to cease his contemplation, and step down from the Minaret. Soon the muezzin would return, and the call to Maghrib would begin. He would make himself ready. All would be as was willed.

Paris, France
Through the streets of the City of Light, millions gathered to celebrate the strength of their mighty republic. Tanks rolled through the streets, their long turrets gleaming brightly in the sun. Soldiers of the Grande Armée marched behind, rifles resting on their shoulders and pointing towards the heavens, where any who opposed France would wind up. APCs and trucks carrying artillery batteries followed. There was enough firepower between them to shell any city to ruin. Above them all flew the mighty French Air Force. The Mirage fighters and bombers twirled and rolled in epic maneuvers, while also carrying destructive tools of their own. The atomic bombs were left at base, in case anything went wrong.

Baptiste Le Grille watched all this from the Eiffel Tower, joined by his wife and children, other high ranking ministers, all flanked by countless guards. Military parades weren't a new concept to France, sure they had one every Bastille Day, but to make such a huge show of strength was new. The world was on the brink of war, they couldn't afford not to show off their strength. The greatest way to win a war was to not fight it after all. Once the main army reached the Tower, there were to be speeches and celebrations. But Baptiste had more important things to do than give speeches. Leaving shortly after the army arrived, it was left to Thierry Le Oui, the Military Minister, to do the talking. Baptiste has a letter to write.

On behalf of the French people and nation, let me be the first to congratulate you on your win, Mr President! The world is closer to war than ever before, and it's vital our strongest nations have strong leaders such as the two of us. If you find free time in the running of the USA, I invite you to visit Paris for mutual defence and economic discussions. We can even share strategies for fighting the menaces that exist in the Middle East.

Yours Sincerely,

Baptiste Le Grille

Katerina stands on the balcony of the expansive palace, looking out into the blue skies above. A splitting roar signaled the rushing past for two of her PAK FAs flying low above and whooshing by. She put her chin on her hands, and leaned against the rail, sighing. It was very beautiful here, she thought. But she could not spend her time gazing. She was a leader, and her people needed her.

She pulled out some satellite images from her pocket, part of her packet of plans. Her first responsibility of these days was to liberate her countrymen from the oppression that they now faced. Belorussia had to be freed.

Belorussia had used to be a part of Russia. They were one nation. Then when the Soviet Union fell, they were split apart. It was like if Texas was broken away from the United States and the people abandoned.

Even worse, they were not just abandoned and split from their homeland but they were oppressed. Belarus was ranked as the most dictatorial country in all of Europe. Their leader ruled through corruption and fear. Mass executions more than in the rest of Europe combined against his enemies were a travesty to the people. The people were poor and oppressed, and cut off from their Motherland.

Her job was to try to find a way to free them and save them from that tyranny. The satellite photos were part of the plan. The border was heavily guarded like it always was in case of terrorism. But she would need her plan to work carefully. If not then it might turn bloody and that needed to be avoided.

She would have to talk to her father. Right now, she would spend just a few more minutes looking out over the beautiful landscape with distant thunder roaring in the skies above her.

Getting into his best suit and preparing for meeting President Kiser, Baptiste took out his phone and texted the Benelux leaders.

"We're discussing the future of the world, I invite you along." signed - BLG, leader of FAP.

Kiser stepped out of Marine One and saluted the two marines. Then he swiftly walked to the steps of Airforce One where he saluted the soldiers. Then he climbed the steps. His excitement levels were through the roof. He was excited for his first trip on the jet and it was overseas no less! As he entered the jet the pilot shook his hand and congratulated him. After that the head steward asked him if he would like anything to which Kiser ordered a bacon cheeseburger with potato wedges. Then he went to his office and sat down to start working on what he wanted to say when he arrived in France.

Once his personal assistants were done gelling him and combing him, Baptiste climbed into his armoured car and was driven off to the airport. The streets of Paris were as busy as always, but all moved aside for the government vehicle on official duty. He spent the short journey reshuffling his papers and going over France's plans. As they were driving into the airport, Baptiste could see Airforce One coming in for landing.

Benelux 'Welcomes' Brandon Administration with Hilarious Viral Video

<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELD2AwFN9Nc>
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it says Netherlands and Trump, but you can have the imagination to think of it saying Benelux and Brandon instead

Recently the Beneluxian government has released a comedic video mocking the Brandon administration, which has gotten over twenty two million views, and has spawned a series of similar videos from inhabitants of other nations from Italy who have made they'r own versions of the original. "This is simply a joke, we do not wish to offend Brandon or any of his supporters, but simply made a humorous, and harmless joke out of this/Dit is gewoon een grap, we willen niet beledigen Brandon of een van zijn aanhangers, maar gewoon maakte een humoristische en onschuldige grap uit deze/C'est tout simplement une blague, nous ne voulons pas offenser Brandon ou l'un de ses partisans, mais tout simplement fait une plaisanterie humoristique et inoffensive de cette" Benelux Foreign Affairs Minister, Stephanie Damion has noted with a smirk on her face as she views the cameras of filming her response to the video's positive success and nature, as well as questions from the media and public.

From: Markus Claes
To: Brandon Kiser

Hello Brandon Kiser, I Markus Claes, no, we, Benelux would like to congratulate you on your success of winning a landslide victory in the U.S election. Despite our ideologies being on the other side of the political spectrum, I hope the United States of America and Benelux can continue to cooperate with each other on the world stage, as we have years ago, and as members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, trading partners and free, fair, democratic nations in the Western World

Sincerely the people and government of Benelux

Seeing it was from Benelux he sent a quick email thanking them and ensuring continued close support. Then he closed his computer down and stood up putting on his suit and tie. Then he gathered his stuff and handed it to an aid. Then he went to the front as the plane prepared to land. After it landed Kiser looked out at the French honor guard and red carpet. After the door was opened Kiser took a step out and waved with a big smile on his face then he descended down the stairs and saluted then he put his hand out to the French PM for a handshake.

As Kiser came down the stair several musicians out of view began blaring the US National Anthem. Baptiste marched up to meet him and gave Kiser a firm handshake, followed by two cheek kisses.

"Mr President, welcome to France!" Baptiste greeted in surprisingly good English. "I trust your flight went well? Come come, we have much to discuss." Baptiste turned and the door of his armoured car opened, ready to take them to their destination.

"Thank you for having me. I will have to follow you. Secret Service is very insistent that I only ride in The Beast but thanks for offering." Kiser then entered his limo and waited for the French PM to leave and head to the meeting location.

"Of course." Baptiste waited for the US President to get inside the so-called Beast, (not have as much of a beast as his own), and gave the driver the command to drive. They took off from the airport, and went down several less packed roads than before, the limousine right behind them. The Élysée Palace was specially arranged for the meeting. Despite being the President's residency, Jacques Martin was kind enough to lend it to them. After a twenty minute drive, the French flag perched atop it came into view. Baptiste got out once they parked, and waited at the door for Kiser to join him.

Kiser got out and walked up to the door where he put his hand on the PM's back and prodded him slightly to enter first showing Kiser's dominance.

Baptiste stood tall and tensed his back, brushing off Kiser's hand as he led him inside. The palace was finely decorated, with a diamond chandelier its centrepiece. The furniture looked and was of the highest quality, straight from Chinese child labour factories. Guards stood at every doorway.

"Would you like refreshments? Some water, wine, a bite of Roquefort perhaps? Or will we get to business?"

"I will take some water. Thank you. Now firstly I want to ensure you that the US-French relationship will remain strong under my administration."

Baptiste snapped his fingers and a maid appeared from a backdoor, looking like an idol from a gentleman's dream, and carrying a glass of water on a silver tray.

"Brilliant. Just brilliant. Some of your competition were spouting some very worrying promises, as you know the socialist Danders wanted to withdraw US troops from all international operations. If he had won, I'd be greatly fearing for all of Earth around now. But he didn't, you won, and I want to say that I'll be returning the promise of close relations. Some intelligence services of mine are returning quite worrying reports, and I think our bond will be more needed than ever."

"I agree. So I propose we come up with a joint strike plan and include Russia and maybe some other nations in it."

"Agreed, destroying the stone age death cult that controls Iraq is of utmost importance. Their dangerous brand of Islam has already spread to Sweden, and would have spread further had I not brought a closure of free travel in Europe. If we don't end them soon, Syria may fall too. Airstrikes are a must, I can send the word and have the Charles De Gaulle with forty aircraft start sailing there now. But it likely won't be enough. Do you think we'll need troops on the ground?"

"Unfortunately I do think it will require boots on the ground but only a few. Earlier today I ordered the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower to be redeployed to the Mediterranean in preparation for a renewed air campaign."

Baptiste sighs. "Well, if it's what we need for a free world... I'll later send orders to Toulon for the Charles De Gaulle to also head out. Once they're fulled and ready, we can start increased bombing runs of Iraq's key locations. Damaging their oil wells will be key to cutting off their funding. If we must follow up with a land invasion, we'll need more than our two nations. And, of course, Russia has the most potential here." Baptiste paces away and back.

"Which is worrying. They've illegally annexed Ukraine very recently, a crime against all international law. Do you think we can trust them to join us in Iraq?"

"Yes. As long as we have a common enemy they will work with us and during that time we can build trust with them. I also would like to bring in Benelux and maybe Canada."
