Oh come on, give some context. They were marching in to restore the democratically elected leader chosen by Gambia from the dictatorial President who wouldn't relinquish power. It wasn't like they decided to march through and everyone loved them, any allied power doing that would have been cheered

Not even the past year, a couple weeks ago. Not only were they Senegalese, but also Nigerian and other member states in ECOWAS.
