Still a bit large for a bow. Can make a damn good hole in a tree too.

Being Hsiss has thus far meant attempt to get a head of your character, but gradually doing so. So far I've had to adapt to changing conditions and devise multiple plans. Likely these plans will merge into one large sscheme. Interesting about the Ballista I'll say that. I'm so use to the ones built to batter city walls XD hahah

Aye. The smaller ones are just for wooden walls or for sport.

A large one would be cool, but Inasaria isn't quite strong enough to set one up on her own.

Plus you'll need to actually built the contraption- which seems like something you can be doing while Rolf is practicing. This is sure to be the talk of the town but I foresee some holes that I'm not going to point out.

I suppose if my character is using her powers so can yours. We are both doing so very discretely so that rolls just fine.

Hmm.. Not sure what I'm going to do with Apium, probably something involving flowers and handing them out, or something with honey.

I mean...Inasaria is planning on pulling something huge out of it in front of tons of people anyway...

You know, claiming the bag was a gift from her goddess, Inasaria.

Claiming to be a devout follower has it's perks :p

Since I'm confident I'll give you an idea- establish the art of bee keeping and make your establishment miraculous enough to be divinely inspired for which it is.

I can see your strategy- and it is a sound one of bewilderment. We'll have to see if the senior gods appreciate Inasaria's strategy.

Edit: A little jealous. As I certainly can't use that simple of a strategy.

The contest is simply to gather worshippers. Would proving the existence and the usefulness of the goddess not suffice?

Actually, having though of it, my plan is along those lines but with more build up.
Galnius wrote:The contest is simply to gather worshippers. Would proving the existence and the usefulness of the goddess not suffice?

It does, though one has to take into account that people will be reluctant to accept a new god into their worship. Even in a Pantheon people tend to favor those gods associated with their daily life, and those gods who dominate great aspects of their life.

A Smith might burn incense to the god of the Forge frequently while the politician might never do so in his life. Proving the existence isn't enough- one has to prove their relevance.

And I can see that your method does so. It's a simpler way of looking at it then I have been- I didn't realize that at it's core the plan I am following is rather simple.

Welp now I feel silly

This isn't the first time I forgot about a character's age- at least it isn't as disastrous as the last time.

Now that I realize the age your post about the farmer and the bees is very cute and adorable.

I'd be fine with it. But Apium probably wouldn't be deterred if it was negative XD, maybe a secret challenge amongst themselves?

I'm not actually sure what to say. I was going to say something along the lines of 'forgetting about mortal aging' but that would contradict the previous statement of trying to get close to the youth.

Having read some quotes on Snakes, and a certain part of my plan involving a certain process for a specific purpose- seeing how one has to be read to shed an old life to live a new one just as a snake sheds it's skin- I'm willing to-

With that I do feel like explaining Hsiss attitude towards the goddess of innovation but such is perhaps best done in character.
