Name: GœVËRÖTh (pronounced "govaroth")
Age:As old as the sea
Gender (the gender you prefer to appear as): male
Aspect/Domain (what are you the frickin’ god of?): The Deep Ocean and the temper of the sea.
Junior or senior god?: Senior
Bio: GœVËRÖTh has existed since the sea itself has blanketed vast portions of the world. Many depictions of him paint him as a strong man with the upper half of a bearded man and the lower half of a fish. But this couldn't be further from the truth of him. GœVËRÖTh represents the ocean in all of it's aspects and primal natures. Many say he dwells in the deepest canyons and floors of the ocean and can resemble anything from a humanoid fish to a terrifying leviathan of the deep. he represents the oceans calm fluid nature, but he can also represent its turbulent wrath and harsh environment.
Although the previous paragraph alludes to him being a god who is controlled by nature and not his own sentience, nothing could be farther from the truth. Throughout the ages many legends and tales have been woven of sailors, fishermen and coastal villagers being spared or saved from natural calamities by showing proper respect to the sea and GœVËRÖTh.
Of all the gods GœVËRÖTh is likely one of the most reclusive, commonly keeping to himself on the ocean floor or in the "trench" which is a deep underwater canyon where his home is. He only ever treads on land if he is seeking something or someone of great value which he cannot trust his servants to search for alone. However some coastal villagers claim to have had dreams recently of a man dressed in robes and fishnets coming out of the sea and wandering inland......
Sexual orientation: fish
Personality: isolationist and cruel to those of land.
Powers/Abilities: -Can affect the currents and waves of the ocean.
-rules over the creatures in his abyssal canyon
-Can create oceanic events such as whirlpools, tsunamis, etc.
-can bend water his will, making it into a weapon such as by shooting high speed sports that can cut rock.
-the ocean is his domain and as such he can feel every being or boat upon or in it.
-non-static form: as a god he can change his form. While he is usually the size of a tall human male, he can be much taller.
Likes: Water, fish, erosion and those who pay homage to the sea
Dislikes: land lubber, amphibians (land or water, pick a side!) and land masses, humans who disrespect the ocean
Strengths: controls the sea, as strong as a rogue wave, can talk to fish, fish talk back and is a master of water magic
Weaknesses: weaker outside water, magics such as lighting or powerful fire magic.
Equipment: -Old and poorly kept robes
-Water Staff (for a mortal it would help amplify water spells but for the Ocean God GœVËRÖTh it is purely cosmetic)
-flask of salt water
Goals:-Maintain the Ocean
-find a way to sink the continents
-protect those who travel or interact with the sea in a way that respects it and him

Deity App:
Name: Jörð (Pronounced Jord)
Age: Unknown
Appearance:
Gender (the gender you prefer to appear as): N/A (Using he and his for simplification)
Aspect/Domain (what are you the frickin’ god of?): Terrestrial Earth (Land; tectonic plates, mountains, volcanoes, canyons, valleys, sand, etc.), Creatures of the Land (Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, Orcs, Worms, Moles, Wyrms etc.), Lava and Magma. Amphibians
Junior or senior god?: Senior
Bio: Jörð is one of the oldest of the senior gods and brother to Indra. He has been around since the creation of existence and created the world as it is. With the land created, he finally had the canvas to create what he wanted. At first the land was nothing but magma, but eventually he decided to create something more easily moldable, thus a massive continent that covered the entire globe was made. He tried to reach the domain of Indra so that they might battle, thus created mountains. When he grew bored of the blank land, he created the first creatures. These creatures, are now known as Wyrms, which he modeled after himself. He desired for them to reach his size but they never grew larger than what would later become a horse. Suddenly, Jörð's canvas was ruined when the creation of water and his brother Govaroth came to be. The world was consumed by water, covering almost the entirety. Jörð then began his crusade against his brother, swearing that he would reclaim the land lost to the sea.
He first began this by creating more creatures, first came the orcs and goblins. However, they could not stand water as it could cause them to melt and they lacked any high intelligence thus they became warriors. Then came the Dwarves and humans, which were almost perfect. They could touch water without dying, however Govaroth contaminated the process thus making these creatures require water to survive. The humans became pointless to Jörð while the Dwarves became excellent miners, thus he has the Dwarves construct his many temples in the earth.
Then Jörð tried to create something close to the size of a human but could live longer, thus came the elves but were not as strong as the Dwarves or Elves. Finally he created what he has hoped to use to conquer Govaroth, amphibians. They could survive on both land and in water, however he could not create any creatures close to human size thus they resemble himself but smaller.
Now Jörð continues his war with Govaroth, as he tries to conquer the ocean. What is known as the tides is actually these two gods fighting for control over the beaches and shorelines which is the battleground for the two. Jörð watches over his many children scattered across the land as he hopes that one of them will help him conquer the sea. Jörð resides in the largest volcano and mountain range on the earth, what humans called "Wyrm's Mouth". Inside the mountain he has trained many goblin and orcs armies should they need to be used and has the oldest Dwarf clan mine the many mountains.
Sexual orientation: N/A
Personality: Jörð sees himself as an artist. He strives to create the "perfect world", thus he strives in change whether it be by manipulating tectonic plates to move the land or creating his servants. Jörð is ruthless, he cares little for the lives of mortals that reside on his land with only the occasional mortal being picked to be his champion. Jörð cares little for the Pantheon and the many people among it, thus he keeps to himself rarely interacting with his fellow divine beings.
Powers/Abilities:Likes: Destruction and Construction, Removing water from his land, Changing the tectonic plates of the earth, Change.
- Terrakinesis: Jord can move the land as he sees fit, however it is a slow process depending on the size. It can take a millennia or more to move a continent but can create earthquakes to move things slightly, however more quickly.
- Drought: Due to Jord being enemies with Govaroth, Jord has the ability to create droughts so as to weaken Govaroth's control on land.
- Magma Breath: From the inside, Jord can unleash great destruction by unleashing the Magma inside of himself. The magma is slow, thus is not a very powerful weapon especially those that are agile. (Essentially a portable volcano if enough gets out)
Dislikes: Erosion, Floods, Rain and Storms. His children drowning.
Strengths: Can give birth to Goblins and Orcs, The Magma he controls is hot enough to evaporate water (but not large bodies like oceans), His size and raw power (Can crush many things)
Weaknesses: Large amounts of water (if submerged for too long he will die), Water Magic.
Equipment: None, he is a very large creature.
Goals: Create the perfect world, Reach Govaroth and destroy him.

My character's heritage isn't stated, but if your domain is all that dwells on land Serpents fall under that (even while some, just like some mammals, live in the sea).... so... having domain over a sub-domain of Jord would imply a position below Jord which may imply some relation to Jord and explain y Hsiss, my character, prefers a serpentine form. But that being said Jord is the most powerful entity I have seen and such seems fitting for a Senior god- Jord is the most frieghting entry I've seen in this RP.

I'm up with finding a connection between the two. Perhaps serpents are an evolution of the wyrms. Since Wyrms sink in water, Jord wanted to find a way to make them float/swim thus the Serpents (and your God) were created.
Also just because Land Creatures are his domain it's more of a broad thing, just like how Gaia was Goddes of the earth there were sub gods that had different parts of the earth. Thus animals and creatures can be the same. So like how we have a God who has a domain over Lions he controls Lions, and your God has serpents. I was trying to say that Jord created most of the land animals but does not have control over them, he only has direct control over Wyrms, Orcs and Goblins. Everything else is either controlled by a different god or are independent.
Plus some gods can always make their own animals, if it's listed in their app than we can just say that god created them. Jord just oversees them if they're on the land.
