I dont think we're seeing eye-to-eye on how RI changed politically here. No, it was not magic or mind control, RI turned purple because of the actions of Egazarian and his allies in the RI Senate that made major changes to the state and helped the people. That means more Republicans/ Republican leaners, ergo more support for Egazarian

So they're Kisers then.

And no, he will not backtrack on what he said. He still supports them and will in 2018. He doesnt like to play politics like that, it's revolting to him. Plus, with those, it's so easy to defend.

How is it so easy to defend? Seriously, just give me an example of how he can so easily defend those statements.

What do you mean "Kiser"? All goods no ads? No, Egazarian has a lot of faults. But he still did a lot of good and helped greatly expand upon the GOP in the state

AR-15. Getting rid of them would literally do nothing to hamper down on gun-related deaths, according to statistics and laws implemented in many cities.

"Egazarian do the good and the people cheer, because they love the good and Egazarian is best Senator in Rhode Island and they no vote for rigging Democrats no more."

What good did he do? It's all just sort of being dredged up from nowhere, that he and Hark are supermen, that they are so amazingly great that they made Rhode Island so good that everyone decided they don't care about abortion or gun control or anything anymore, and they'll go and vote Republican.

So you take the gun claim, and make some statistics that say that the gun really isn't that deadly. And that by itself is going to be enough to make everyone side with you, in a state that wants an outright ban on assault weapons by 64% to 27%. And then they'll all also be happy with his no-restriction Vermont-style gun control after he (something something explains) in a state where 75% want magazine cap restrictions. And they'll all be happy and go along with it.

Then after that he'll (something something turned the state purple) to make the 71% of pro-abortion Rhode Islanders fine with destroying it.

Then he'll do the same with building a wall, cutting welfare, and saying corporations pay more than their fair share. Because he's Egazarian and that's what he does.

-----------

Here, look, I'm just going to leave it at this. I don't want to argue about it, and I don't see anything good coming from it. But saying that Egazarian and Hark somehow were such Ubermensch that they made an entire deep-blue state go purple is silly. It comes from nowhere, just a vague "they did things, and everyone loves them now." Rhode Island is a seriously blue state. Massive supermajorities oppose gun rights and abortion, huge percentages of the state are against Egazarian's wall, welfare cuts and corporatism. He's for gay marriage and that's great. But so is whatever Democrat he'd run against, and that Democrat is also for all these others things that Rhode Island supports so massively. The fact that he was elected before, somehow, doesn't change that he is a terrible fit for the state.

So I don't want to argue and we'll see in 2018. But I'm just laying out how it is

Again, you're overexagerating everything and not realizing that IRL RI is not IC RI. Seriously, the polls you stated, do not apply here. Are they close to what they are IC? Perhaps. But Egazarian helped RI turn purple and he did a lot of bills regarding taxes, businesses, infrastructure; he did a lot of things that helped the state. That is what was stated in my app and that is what I'm going by.

We can agree that this should be dealt when the time comes. We can discuss it then in a more suitable place. Agreed?

Character Gender: Male
Character Age:[/b] 42
Character Role: Senator, Presidential Candidate
Appearance: Tall, brown hair, mediterranean tan, semi-casual
Character State of Origin: Rhode Island
Character Affiliation (Democrat, Republican or Non-Aligned): Republican
Main Strengths: Policy- Economy, Healthcare, Immigration; Personality- Good public speaker, improv
Main Weaknesses: Policy- Foreign, Social; Personality- Can get angry at rallies/ etc.
Short Bio: Born in a poor, middle-class family in rural Rhode Island; Egazarian is a Conservative Libertarian from RI who has served in the Senate for 8 years and has been a major influence in RI's politics for many years, starting when he ran for the RI Senate. He has attracted many young people because of his common sense policies and explaining them, plus his socially libertarian leanings.
Egazarian has been interested in politics since his early teen years. To go to college, he had to join the military for 4 years since he couldn't pay for it. His first job was at a farm and worked at the same farm for his entire high school career (which is why his nickname is Farmer Matt). His experiences on the farm have allowed him to understand the hardships of many tradesmen which to this day, influences his policies. His main influences are his grandfather, Ronald Reagan, Boris Johnson, Milton Friedman, and Milo Yiannopolous.
Other Info: Born to Armenian and Polish parents. He has support mostly from moderates, fiscal conservatives, libertarians, conservatives, and blue dogs.

The polls do apply. You do not get to suddenly make up that Rhode Island has had a character transplant and has gone Republican out of nowhere on your own whims. You don't get to change the nature of a state just because it's convenient for you.

How the freaking heck would infrastructure and taxes make them support banning abortion and ending gun control anyways?

Rhode Island remains Rhode Island. It hasn't transformed into another state because it helps out Egazarian.

Rhode Island remains Rhode Island, they just somehow elected a Republican senator and governor. We can see if they will win when the time comes, but until then, things are as they stand IRL unless something changed ICly(and not vague bullshittery on the OOC.) I'm not an op, but this has gone on long enough. Egazarian is not doing so hot right now objectively.

So he worked towards everything, and saw the stories of people who grew out of poverty as truely great examples. Though, he thought he was a democrat all the way until the beginning of High School, which lead him to truly look at the politics he was supporting, simply because he was Black. Biography: (Minimum 1-2 paragraphs) Born January 2nd, 1996, Andrew grew up in a Religious African-American family, and if there was one thing his parents ever taught him, it was you reap the gains of your labor. He grew up in a middle class neighborhood, but his parents showed him where they grew up, and their life was far more challenging than his growing up. So he worked towards everything, and saw the stories of people who grew out of poverty as truely great examples. Though, he thought he was a democrat all the way until the beginning of High School, which lead him to truly look at the politics he was supporting, simply because he was Black. However that was a lame excuse, and over the course of the Summer, he changed sides. Though it's not that he changed his beliefs, he just didn't know his Belifs fit the Republicans more,

He's a hard worker, paying for his Car and College with money he earned through Jobs, of through scholarship. Skipping 9th Grade and half of College, he was trained in business and phycology, and out of College by 19. With that, he decided to give politics a try, and was deemed a new kind of Republican. A young, sexy one, who will break myths, or at least attempt to about the Republicans. Energetic, and full of vigor.
Other info: He's currently trying to get Married at the moment, so is flirty at times. He's not prone to anger, but those close to him have seen him go off, and are terrified. His family is terrified at the Criticism he will undoubtedly receive, though he doesn't mind. (Will add more later)

You'll probably need to at least add weaknesses if you want to get accepted.
