Ooh, that's a good idea. The UK doesn't really require that to intervene ourselves, seeing how we're already closely aligned with India, but we'd support it and be willing to send in ground forces if necessary supporting the UN.

History: The United Arab State of Egypt arose from the ashes of the Colonialism. The Kingdom of Egypt was the first recognized government that had emerged from world war 2 and Egypt was used like a toy during the war. Unfortunately the new Monarchy wasn't as well received as was imagined and many began to believe that it was a British puppet state. Over the next few years larger nationalist movements began to form, many claiming that the monarchy was merely there to keep the peninsula open for the British and that the land was Egyptian and should remain that way. Misguided or not this anger reached a boiling point when a political group known as the Arab Egyptian Liberation Front sprouted up. It was a nationalist and secular group that sought to forge a powerful and independent Egypt as well as a promise to eventually gain lands that should be Egyptian in territory.

The AGLF grew in strength and even members of the military began to side with them. It's leader, Hassan Mustafa, initiated a coup in 1951, the King was captured during the coup and sentenced to prison, his family fleeing to other nations. Hassan dissolved the Kingdom and declared a United Arab State of Egypt and consolidated power to himself and his generals. The new secular government began large reforms, especially in the areas of infrastructure. A cult of personality has developed over Hassan and his government is now known as simply "The Hassan Regime". A benevolent dictator, he has become a national hero and is widely loved. However a elite secret police force (known as Cairo 51) exists however to crush foreign spy agencies and those disloyal to the regime and the revolution.


RP Example: It was freezing in downtown Chicago, but detective Ross Ketterer was warm after sipping on a flask of good whisky. He sat in his 1935 Chevy and watched as the blizzard outside scratched at the hood of his ride. A simple streetlight was all that was available in the darkness to see the shards of ice play with the paint. He was tired and at nearly fourty he was getting old for the job. A 38. special snub nose rubbed the inside of his coat as he waited for the notorious gangster Lanzo Divani to exit the small bar known as Harveys. It was a shit hole, known for prostitution and in the past boose running, a well established business. It wasn't long before the scumbag made his exit.

The Italian-American left the bar drunk as a skunk, cursing, which was normal for him. Alchohol could never solve Lanzo's family problems at home, and it wasn't going to solve his future either. Ross exited his vehicle and approached the gangster. Lanzo turned and saw the trenchcoat figure make his way towards him, eyes shadowed.

" Lanzo...it's time to go son..." The detective said, standing in the middle of a frozen over street, his coach glistening with ice.

Lanzo smiled wiping drool off his drunken mouth.

" The only one that going is you badge boy..." A sick twisted look on his face, his greasy hair dangling in the cold wind, his hot breath escaping his mouth and dissolving into the air.

" Don't do it..." Ross said, anticipating what surley would come next.

The two men drew down and fired with uncanny speed, even intoxicated Lanzo was able to fire at least two quick shots from a 1911, engraved with the words " Tomarrow is Tomarrow" in Latin on it's ivory grips.

Lanzo fell dead in the street, Ross missed two shots but a third had hit the gangster in the throat and out the back severing his spinal cord. The mob man was dead before he even hit the ground.

" Son of a......"Ross said as he felt a warm wet sensation on his chest.
