History: For a long time, Spain's and Portugal had excelled at their imperial ambitions. But over time, their empires started to slowly decay. Both had lost most of their colonies in Asia and the americas by the 20th century. Portugal and Spain turned to each other and signed a treaty uniting the two under the name of the Iberian Empire, uniting their forces. After the loss of Macau and East Timor, the two felt even closer. Both sides had a deep sense of anger over their losses.
Since the union, Iberia has expanded its ties to,the western empires such as France, U.K., and Italy. It has some groups in African colonies calling for independence. Most rebellions are quickly quashed, but some worrying it may soon get out of hand.

History: By 1942, the Germans were facing losses by America, which weakened their position in Greece. Greek leaders conspired with British, Russian, and American leaders, and by 1943 the A Bomb hit Germany. The Greeks took arms, overwhelming the garrison present, including the Italian ones in Greece and Albania. This would be short, as reinforcements would slowly arrive. Greece feared invasion from Bulgaria and eventually Russia, who was sweeping into Eastern Europe like a pendulum. By February 22nd, 21,000 Americans, 15,000 British, and 5,000 French arrived, which supported and supplied the Greek force of 40,000 men. They effectively pushed the Bulgarians out, occupying them. A small skirmish occurred on the Danbe in December, however it was resolved. By then, however, Germany surrendered. A Greek Diplomat, who is now President, presided over the meeting and agreed to release German Wehrmacht Prisoners to Germany while the SS was transferred to the Americans for trial. USSR obviously had a taste for their lands, however the treaty secured Greeces position as a independent state, known as the Byzantine Kingdom. This did not sit well for the Bulgarians, who took up arms in 1944, and was supported by the USSR and Yugoslavia. By 1945, a treaty was signed forming a 'United Kingdom' between Greece, Albania, and Bulgaria. It also secured the survival of the Bulgarians People Party and the Greeks People Party (which was disbanded in 1950 due to the Thessaloniki trials). Now, the Greeks shared the throne and Parliament between the Bulgarians and Albanians, where Simeon and Paul were declared Kings of their rightful lands. Macedonia was made a independent state, not under Bulgarian or Greek control. Thessaloniki was made Capital and Congress was moved there. In 1950, the Thessaloniki Trials began, where the officials of the Greek Peoples Party were put on trial for treason, which were found guilty after enormous amounts of Evidence appeared. The Bulgarian Peoples Party was almost found guilty however the Chief Witness, the former General Secretary, was found dead in his apartment from 'natural causes'.

We wouldn't have sold you IS-3s, and would probably have intervened much earlier. Also, IS-3s don't exist (Stalin died early).

We wouldn't have sold you IS-3s, and would probably have intervened much earlier. Also, IS-3s don't exist (Stalin died early).

I can remove the IS-3s, I was doing a gamble with it anywho, but the Monarchy has no power. And I was protected by the Treaty, which would have prevented you from invading. Right now I am socialist leaning with capitalist influence, however the Bulgarians are winning over the Greeks.

So, they decided to become a neutral country. With this, Bulgaria, Albania and Greece (all wanting to be neutral) joined Yugoslavia, and it was renamed the Balkan Federation.
As of now, Yugoslavia is trying to navigate it's way around the politics of the post-Blitz world, and it's main goal is to just survive and stay together.

Resources were sent overseas to England at an advanced rate to fuel the war effort, and a guarantee of support for the mother country was guaranteed, as was expected. In the face of an encroaching, imperialistic, competent naval power right on their doorstep, Australia and New Zealand began slowly drawing closer ties, with some subtle encouragement from London (NOTE: In this timeline, unification suggestions have been somewhat more prominent, thanks to a few key differences.
