Most Pureblood Wizards don't know what an electrical outlet is at the 20th century, and that oh no we can't use anything related to technology attitude is what resulted in that. Frankly I'm just having my character make use of being pragmatic with magic and blending it with technology (or completely replacng where it's convenient).

Personality: Cadfael is a simple guy just trying to make it through life while the world seems to collapse around him. His desires are simp-le, to have a job, family, and a house. However, he is accepting that soon he may need to take a side and is preparing himself for that day. He's a loner by nature, desiring solitude and peace from the chaos of the rest of his grade.
Brief Backstory: Cadfael was born to a Wizard mother and a muggle father, though his father died in an industrial accident when Cadfael was young. His mother struggled to make ends meet as a child and as Cadfael grew up around other families, there was nothing he desired more than a normal life amongst them. Hogwarts gave him a taste of this but drew his friends away from him as most were put into other houses. Cadfael was put into Gryffindor for his bravery for growing up without a father and his strength to support his mother. Cadfael worked hard throughout the years in hopes he would get a better job than his mother one day and give any children he had a better life than his.
