Thanks. I think I'll have Cyrus sit this one out. Not only does it work with his story as a neglected child, but also works with the fact that I'm going to be away for a few days and won't be writing anything for awhile. When year 3 comes out, I'll try to come back.

I feel like Slytherin would be an Adder or a Basilisk, as both are more connected with Slytherin than a viper. The Adder is the only venemous snake in Britain and the Basilisk is Slytherin's serpent

Well it's logical that some crazy dude would try it at one point. So it would have to be worse than magic for Hybrid stuff not to be used.

EDIT: And personally I like the idea that Magic and Technology don't mix.
