Well his political views quite somehwhat align with some of the existentialism in the Stranger, which made me interested when you consider he is French Algerian as well.

I probably had it buried in my subconscious somewhere lmao. I just didn't explicitly think about l'etranger when coming up with character design. You're right though - there's a striking similarity which I find kind of funny.
