I honestly didn't have the L'etranger in mind when designing this character, but now that you mention it, it probably was somewhere in the back of my head as I came up with the concept.

I honestly didn't have the L'etranger in mind when designing this character, but now that you mention it, it probably was somewhere in the back of my head as I came up with the concept.

Reading his personality as well there is a similarity, though obviously the sociopathy is gone and it's got it's own uniqueness. Still a fun trick of the subconscious mind,

just that the next time skip we have will be to the Yule ball and I'm not sure if it will be a every year thing or it if will be a once in awhile thing I don't know and that after the ball part 1 of the arc will be over and we will let people have their side adventures for Christmas break for a couple of days while I plan out or well finish planning part 2.

Personality: Alexander Markus is a friendly, charismatic and patient student. He is clever, understanding of others, and a hard worker. Alexander is very talkative, ambitious in his goals, taking any means to accomplish them, and likes to stand up for those he considers vulnerable.
Brief Backstory: Alexander Markus was born in London the year 2004 as the middle child between elder twin brothers and a younger brother. His parents were wealthy business owners with high connections. For a time they moved to Australia, shortly after his birth, where Alex grew up and gained quite an accent. His parents were quite expectant of him and he worked hard to please them. However, Alexander was quite resentful and disgusted towards their pure blood fanatical views. Still, he worked hard all the same and gained ambitions to make changes in the family and take over the business as a grown up. During his time in Australia, his parents gave birth to another son, who was later diagnosed with autism, and his older twin brothers were sent back to Britain to go to Hogwarts.

Upon getting close to Alexander's tenth birthday, his family moved back to London, wishing him to go to Hogwarts for his magical learning. Much like his family before him, Alexander Markus was sorted into Slytherin where he fitted in quite well, dispite major disagreements with the Pure blood ideology. He especially became among the few close friends of Raphaël Raymond, who has learned to be patient with from years with his younger brother. Alexander became so close to Raphael in fact that in the second year they both discovered their sexuality in their attractiveness towards each other, but avoided being too open about it towards others.

Alexander Markus also have proven to be a fantastic quidditch player and joined the Slytherin team with ambitions to become seeker. He has also taken on an interest in Wizards Chess and have joinded Chess Club along with Raphaël Raymond, both of them becoming top players. Among his ambitons for after Hogwarts, Alex seeks to ether take over the family business or go into politics at the Ministry of Magic.

Also, as I think about it, Raphaël does have Slytherin traits, particularly his cleverness and his ambitious in his dedication towards his goals both short term and long term, as well as power hungry in the sense that he likes control over situations involving himself.
