Now, we would employ, whoever you desire us to employ, in Africa, while employing, only Germans, in Hamburg. A quarter of the crop, would be sold, exclusively to you and your colonies. Being, somewhat, delighted by the fact, that this was a quick and easy war, Pascal made it, right quick, to the city of Djibouti. He camped outside the city, with his men, waiting for their arrival. He informed them the Ethiopian Emperor had apologized and granted Israel Eritrea and the ally of Yemen. The men were still restless and desired a fight. Luckily, Pascal was able to grant them this, tell them they would fight Ethiopian rebels. Although not as good as trained soldiers, the men were complacent, and began preparing for, what would definitely be, guerrilla warfare.
Alexandria, Egypt Country
In Alexandria, the investors of the, West African Chocolate Company, were hard at work, determining where to setup plantations, next. They got in contact with a German official, who said that they may be able to open up shop, on the Ivory Coast. Quickly, they compiled a letter, for the German Government, and sent it with the German official. To: The German Government

Also, in Alexandria, the city was booming! With FSA chocolate ships, Gran American chocolate and coffee ships and Israeli chocolate ships, all in harbor, the city was turning into the chocolate capital, of the world! Although it was not possible to grow chocolate in Egypt or anywhere nearby, Alexandria housed more chocolate, than every other processing plant, there was. With so much chocolate, and coffee on the way, the Israeli Government, decided to deem Alexandria, a "Free-Trade Zone." On top of Alexandria becoming a, Free-Trade Zone, it was also deemed an, "Export-Processing Zone," which places few regulations on foreign companies, setting up shop in Alexandria. However, Alexandria is not just supposed to be a selling it, it is a trade hub. Therefore, 70% of all goods imported to Alexandria or produced in Alexandria, by a foreign company, must be exported. The Colombian Chocolate Company, the Costa Rican Chocolate Company and Lo's Chocolate Company, were the first companies to be informed, but letters were also sent to all European, American and Asian, nations.

To the United States of America
Bloody Kansas
With what the yellow press has quickly termed the ‘Garrison Act’, the United States’ administration has passed the question of slavery down into the legislatures of its individual states. Fighting Jimmy Brewster and his fellows have confessed their dissatisfaction, even as abolitionists from coast to coast have reviled the country’s president as a craven jackanape utterly lacking in moral fiber. A caricature in a prominent Washington newspaper even has the nerve to depict a chicken dressed in the President's trademark suit as it washes its hands in a basin bearing the words 'States Rights'.
What it comes down to, in the end, is Kansas.
As a newly formed state on the southern edge of the great Midwest, its young legislature has yet to elect a senator from its own ranks. Thus, as individual states become battlegrounds for the issue on slavery, both Southern planters and Abolitionist zealots are making valiant efforts to finance the migration of voting citizens into the young state. The plan on both sides is to secure Kansas’ nascent senatorial seat for “their own” candidate; and to hell with the cost. Unsurprisingly, reports of intimidation, thuggery and widespread violence are already making their way back to Washington. Will the government intervene to maintain law and order.
To Carthage
Ridiculous Notions
Carthage’s puppet king has, without even a whiff of exaggeration, completely missed the mark. By averting a discussion about civil liberties and freedom of public expression into a circus of anti-Muslim vitriol however, he may have delivered a message of another sort. Across Carthaginean society, liberal figureheads have voiced mixed reactions to the pamphleteer’s public execution - an event several leading newspapers labeled a ‘spectacle of Medieval brutality’. Already, a particularly high-strung dissenter, the celebrated poet and anti-clerical orator Mohammad Dessalines, has departed Carthage for France in disgust at his nation’s “barbaric” government.
More conservative elements, however, are far more pleased.
Calling themselves ‘the Elephants’, a group of off-duty city watchmen, Christian seminar students and naval cadets have recently stormed the offices of a notoriously liberal magazine, ‘El Garida’. There, they have horsewhipped several staff members, frightened innocent onlookers and chased El Garida's assistant editor up a palm tree! Does this mean that conservative elements in Carthaginean society have cart-blanche to trounce their opponents without fear of the law? Time, as always, will tell.
Israel
The Rose of Acre
In recent weeks, a somewhat unusual matter has come to the attention of the royal court. Evidently, a famous author of contemporary literature, journalist and scholar from the port city of Acra – widely famed in progressive circles for both his rapier wit and poison pen – has revealed his true identity. As a woman. Mademoiselle Célèste Fauntlair, recently widowed, has apparently decided to reveal the true nature of her gender to an astounded Israeli public as a means of spearheading a contentious political issue: the vote for women. Conservatives, spearheaded by the embullient news editor Fulbért Moise du Nord, are understandably mortified. Women, it is claimed, are invariably slaves to their passions and emotions, and quite unable to consider important political questions. The only result, should Israeli women be allowed by vote on matters of national importance, would be anarchy and misrule. Supporters of Mademoiselle Fauntlair, however, claim that if the state expects women of an adult age to obey the law, pay their taxes and contribute to the fabric of Israeli society, allowing them a voice in the royal parliament is a moral necessity. Du Nord’s conservatives are less than impressed. After all, what is next if women can vote? Female service in the army?
Empire of Ethiopia
Contrary Opinions
Supporters of what is now called the ‘Emperor Across the Water’, Wube Haile Maryam, have recently published their own account of the House of David. What is more, said account has covertly been distributed even on the very streets of Addis Adaba. In short, this scurrilous pamphlet presents not only undeniable “proof” that Wube Haile Maryam is the true heir to the throne of Solomon, but also claims to show that the so-called Emperor Yohannes is nothing but the illegitimate bastard of a bucktoothed palace concubine. In short, Yohannes’s claim to belong to a Holy House is nothing but lies and dust! Unfortunately, Ethiopia’s academic community have remained frustratingly divided on the subject. While no one has dared to openly voice a belief in the pretender’s favor; several notable scholars of Solomonid history have remained conspicuously vague. Could it be that the pretender’s claims are true? How will the government in Adis Addaba respond to this? Perhaps more importantly, how will its populace? Already, there are grumblings that Emperor Yohannes has sinned against God and his country for surrendering Djibouti and Eritrea to Israeli aggression.
Federated States of Asia
Conservative Backlash
A reactionary backlash is afoot in the Federated States. Faced with what they feel are unfair and unprofitable socio-economic practices, a coalition of industrial tychoons have brought a string of demands before the government. They insist that the FSA cease its kow-towing to the Rads and their populist rabble, and repudiate the recent string of pro-Rad legislation as unfair and ridiculous in the strongest possible terms. And what could possibly be next? Public healthcare? A vote for women? Preposterous! In closing, they demand a return of power to more stable and traditional elites. After all, they argue, by instituting such ridiculous measures as a minimum wage, not to mention so-called ‘standards of health and safety’, the FSA’s government has surely crippled its own industry’s ability to make a profit abroad. To that end, several private industrial magnates have threatened to move their companies and businesses to countries less stifling than the FSA. If the government does not acquiesce, they warn, the resulting slump in jobs and productivity will no doubt lead to widespread unemployment, misery and anarchy.
Empire of Korea
The Jodun Shinsu
The nationalist revolution gains ground. The death of the hated ‘Paper Emperor’ has been met with reports of widespread celebration, particularly in rebel strongholds in Honshu. Predictably, the ascent of Empress Aki to power and her apparently “lax” hold on the reins of government has been widely interpreted as a sign of effeminate Korean weakness. She is, her detractors maintain, a repulsive foreigner on the throne of Japan and as alien to the nation as a fish to dry land.
With this in mind, the nationalists - whom some of Tokyo’s more questionable evening papers have dubbed the ‘Taifun Movement’ - have gained an unlikely ally: followers of a popular Buddhist sect known as the Jodun Shinsu. With its broad support amongst Japan’s agrarian population, these zealots have aligned themselves with the larger factions within the Taifun Movement and authored a list of demands. This ‘Document for The Preservation of National Unity’ proposes the reformation of Japan’s Imperial government into a so-called ‘Enlightened Republic’ founded on a mixture of Buddhist and middle-class ideals, the transfer of all executive power from the Imperial Palace to the Diet, or parliament, and Jodun Shinsu enshrined as the state religion.
Elsewhere, wayward surges of anti-Korean sentiments have resulted in the brutal roadside murder of Sang-An Sum, a famous Korean actress. Allegedly , the star of the 1838 Hohei Festival was overtaken by masked assailants on the road to Tokyo and mutilated by having her eyes put out. Now, as even the Korean motherland repudiates all ties to its former possession; the would-be Empress in Kyoto stands increasingly alone.
Germany
You get rebels! All of the rebels! All of the rebels, in Indonesia! The Dutch Free State, in Indonesia, was a, highly, ethnically oriented state. However, with the invasion by the Federated States of Asia, their state, has fallen. Now, being the proud, white folk, they are, they do not want to be ruled by, Asians. First attempting to call upon the Dutch, there was no answer. They then planned to call upon the Nords, but they were friendly with the FSA! Finally, they looked towards Germany, begging them to assist them, in their fight, against the FSA. There is one catch, they do not want to become a German colony, they want to be an autonomous region, within the German Republic.
The Nords
Recently, things have been going quite well, in the Nordic nation. In fact, in the Nordic colony of, Tanzania, a strange mineral was found, near, Mt. Kilimanjaro. The mineral was named, Tanzanite, after the colony of Tanzania, and though it has no inherent worth, it looks pretty. Recently, a Nordic business man, began convincing the wealthy elite of the Nords, that Tanzanite was a valuable object, and it would be good for them to own some, or possibly, wear some. The wealthy, ate it right up, and began telling their European friends, all about this new gem! This has brought an economic boom to the colony of Tanzania, leading many settlers to flock, to Tanzania.
Greece
Woah! The Olympics are back! You know what that means, naked men doing sports! However, there have been some complaints, since the summer Olympics. Some, Public Decency, groups, have begun to complain about what the Olympic athletes wear, that is, nothing. Many families have begun to call upon the government, to force the athletes to wear something over their, private, areas. Along with this, many women have been asking, if they may compete, too. Many are rich young girls, who have never seen a spec of dirt, in their life, but will pay a lot, to be allowed in. However, the Public Decency groups, demand, that you force the women to wear full dresses, if they compete. This is going to be one strange Olympics.
Novskar
The Free Mason's couldn't believe it! The Novskar Government, did not begin to wrangle up strikers and shoot them. They knew this was a great opportunity, and began to send, even more, operatives into Novskar. The Jacobin Party, as it was called, opened up two offices, one in Sevastopol and one in Odessa. There goal, was to convince Novskar to change their government to a republic and win the elections. They started to gain more followers across Novskar, and even began spilling over, into Nordic Russia, where they were promptly killed. The large crowds of Jacobins, begin to petition the Novskar Government, to cut all ties, with the tyrannical, Nordic Government.
Gran America (under construction)
In Ecuador and Peru, the people were rejoicing! With the collapsing Spanish Empire gone, and the new, Gran American Empire, on their side, they were ecstatic! Oddly enough, not only
This is unfinished. If your country is on the list, yours is completed.

Dear, US Pratt and Whitney Company,
The Japanese government has expressed interest in the purchase of your weapons. We would like to place an order for 25,000 breech-loader rifles, along with 3 howitzers. We have already calculated the cost in advance for you: $1,125,735. It is the government's concern that these weapons be delivered through a port in San Francisco, of where a ship will arrive when the weapons are ready.
- Thank You,
Queen Aki.
