I just wanted to say I never was trying to push I was better than Western Nations. That was what I tried to say before. I'm just saying we're well on the road to being a 'modern' Nation. Which I assumed will be finished sometime 1880-1900. Maybe 1910. I think we we're misunderstanding each other, because I wasn't saying I'm as good as Nations now. I'm saying I would in the coming decades. Like America in say the early 1800's. Not powerful, but not weak. And able to explain territorial gains. Though not where they would take on Britain. Don't pay attention to the war of 1812. The French were partly to blame for that incident.

Still, why Siberia? All of your resources are currently being used on the Persian War and Colonizing Madagascar. Why would you waste resources to colonize a sparsely populated area, that has little to no resources. You'd be throwing tons of money away, in the way of funding Colonial Efforts and keeping a standing force to keep the peace, on a territory that will not give you a return, and will then give you a deficit.

Your country at it's current state is not in a position to take over an area of land and setup some kind of colony. You don't have the gear nessacry to undertake such a journey, and your country will make no gains by doing this. There even the question of a colony surviving, because I don't know if you know this but Indochina and Siberia are very different tempature wise. If you want to further your country don't set your sight on some peice of rock a thousand miles away. Focus on expanding into your current territory and using the resources there

I thought it did have resources like Timber and shit like that! If I'm wrong, tell me know! I don't want anything to do with it if that's the case! Also, I view sparse population as a bonus. Less hard to control, so no major rebellions. I just need to claim it, and send a small colony. It's also being done over an extended period of say..... 30 years. That's the point we'd actually do something about it.

We'll send in our boys should the occasion arise, but I doubt they would with my Boy China right next door. Might I add, Russians haven't done anything with the area yet!
