Ya know, Cannons were mideval age. I should sooner or later make cannons for my ships.

Medieval cannon was cumbersome, heavy, and had issues being navally mounted. Medieval vessels would be armed more with bow & arrow, historically, though some would be armed with light cannon later on, during the Edwardian period (I think).

Any cannon you have would be categorized as "Bombards", or howitzers, and would be very, very cumbersome in their deployment.

Cannons also defined the more reliable type of cannons during Enlightenment age, 17th - 18th century -19th.

They were also made of subpar iron and would eventually explode due to internal stress.

I do believe that was my intention. To bombard other Nations from the sea, then send in the troops. Though I'd imagine I'd try being friendly with coastal nations more to trade with them.

I don't think you understand what I mean. I mean things like This Cannon from the Ottoman Empire. Even something like This would have issues on a vessel.

EDIT: Furthermore, heavy cannon must be placed low on a ship, unless you want a vessel which is not stable and top-heavy. As such you need Carvel construction for your vessel so that watertight gunports may be mounted on the vessel. If you do not, the vessel will have significant issues in being watertight.

Wrapping up my invasion post, well it's actually just a raid to destroy a tribe so that we can build on the ashes of their camp and claim that county as our own. Anyways the action is against the tribe to the north, what would be a fair population increase if we kill the warriors and men but spare and accept the women, elderly and children?

Unsurprisingly i'm going to have to agree with you, that movie scarred me when i was younger. It doesn't smooth over anything though and i figure that would be a better way of showing a tribal raid, to show just how brutal it would need to be in order to be effective.

Basically, Corporations are able to expand and influence other factions to a greater degree. They're the business equivalent of Kingdoms.

Mega-Corporations are the business equivalent of Legitimized Governments, and can expand and influence to an even greater degree as well as maintain larger standing private armies.
