Edit: Saying random things is fine. Only talking to someone or speaking a command word or something else along those lines requires a roll.

To be fair, you got lucky. A bad roll probably would have cursed you with a T-Shirt of +3 Unremovability, or a T-Shirt of +2 Necrolysis.

It seems to run off of blood, which I'm pretty sure is well congealed in the case of the Death Knight
