Then sit back and let the world wonder how in the fuck you did it.

Once satisfied, go forth and kill god.

Killer Lemon Brownies

Ingredients

Brownies:
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
3 eggs

2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest, plus more for icing

Icing:
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.

Beat flour, white sugar, butter, and sea salt together in a bowl using an electric mixer until well mixed. Whisk eggs, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon lemon zest together in a separate bowl; mix into flour mixture and beat on medium speed until smooth, about 3 minutes. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 23 to 25 minutes. Cool until bottom of dish is warm to the touch.

Whisk confectioners' sugar, 1/4 cup lemon juice, vanilla extract, and lemon zest (to taste) together in a bowl until smooth; spread over brownies.

But no, no one needs to be in such a position. Just had a little scare with a suicidal and depressed friend this weekend, and to relive the stress, I took a couple glasses of rose to calm my nerves. They're okay and a little bit better and so am I. But thanks for being concerned.

And Salad?! *blushes deeply* I would've never thought I'd see that name again. Not that I'm complaining or anything I guess. Hmph.

Tucking the several working and one now-worn-out pens she'd borrowed from the library area in a paper pocket and clutching her notes, the short paper girl tiptoed up to Cecile and Henry's group. "Hello. May I join you?"

Unless Sal moved Henry, he's also at the same table as Thad, Nivea, and Amanda. In which case, there's a bunch of interesting stuff in plain site for your characters to notice: Thad's disturbing appearance, Nivea's crossbow, Amanda's holstered gun under her fancy suit jacket, pastic boxes holding lizard organs, and I think a couple of other things.

Edit: expect Amanda to talk to Cecile. Tomorrow. When my muse is more cooperative.

Hm. I do believe that Henry didn't move from his spot and is currently speaking to Cecile about his thoughts. But yes, he's still observing the lizard specimens in the box as well as the others. So um, yeah. I'll get him to respond to them if needed.
