Exhaustion sets in. I've got most of my IC reply typed but need to harass Swith a bit about some details. I'll finish it up tomorrow and post it.
I wear teal, blue & pink for Swith

It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

My character is also quiet only because he has nothing to ask. Although, however much that chaplain corps comment may have been an aside, it would be a good role for Steingrímur given his obsession with theology, philosophy and religion.

Edelweiss and Reina, the two previous ones are still alive. None of Tsuyoi Tekikoku's leaders are killed in their duels of succession.

I don't use NS stats.

I'd prefer the pronouns she/her,if your referring to me

Momentary delay while the CoOPs look over what I've written. I'm too tired to trust my in own ability to explain the God War to Cecile.

I accidentally posted the link in the Madhouse IRC. lel. I'm tired, and it shows. Players offered their input. I edited a few things to trim off some rambling, and then posted it. Not sure what my schedule will be like tomorrow.

So what happens now? With the end of that little bit of exposition, what do we reply to?

Thanks for catching that. I edited. Notice my lack of sleep? :p

Rather than drone on at characters, I opted to have some of the command staff depart. This allows the PCs more freedom to discuss their doubts or excitement. Perhaps our veteran Residents can explain a bit about the setting to the newcomers?

I plan to launch the training this coming weekend. *fingers crossed* My schedule doesn't look that bad but there's a full week ahead. I'm usually bogged down by Wednesday.

Some things are allowed without points. A pegasus has wings thus it can fly: list wings. A raptor is fast thus no points are spent in speed: list speed and give us its stop speed. These "natural" abilities should be listed here. What isn't allowed: teleportation beyond a few feet; the ability to alter or go back/forward in time. Well, as long as it doesn't radically change the EU canon it should be fine, probably. Mine is from the Galactic Alliance era, following the Yuuzhan Vong war.

PERSONIFICATION LIFE
CHARACTER APPLICATION 2.0

PLAYER INFORMATION
NS nation nickname: Dance, Dancy, Dancy-wance, or Dan

Skill Level (beginner, intermediate, advanced): Intermediate. I can write eloquently, just not often. Don't expect me to clog up a whole page on writing about gnawing on a piece of toast

How often can you post? Daily, but as these are rigid standards of RP-posting, perhaps one or two posts per day.

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character First Name: Darth

Character Surname: Drathen

Character Title: Sith Lord

Character Gender: Male

Species : Trandoshan

Age: 29

Appearance: This face with these robes; Standing 2.13 metres and weighing about 96.62 kilograms. He's much lankier than one might initially think of such a behemoth, and carries himself with an inquisitive, but refined grace. As far as clothes go, he prefers plain robes due to their mobility, and as most other forms of clothes are either too baggy or too tight.

URL to Character Picture, if any: Lol whoops, I already described him to you above.

Character Occupation or Specialty: Most likely helping repair or fashion any piece of equipment, or studying to teach subjects such as enginereing.

Character's biggest strength: His ability to learn and adapt, yet remains grounded in the moment so he can solve most problems.

Character's worst flaw: His natural distrust and suspicion towards people he doesn't know personally. However, he disguises this as an aloof demeanor.

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS

    List Mundane skills here
  • College Bachelor level of knowledge in terms of Engineering and Machine Reparing. While one may argue that this is a "specialized skill", I figured this combined with education would be a sufficient rationale?
  • Knife Throwing
  • Stealth/has made it a habit to walk near-silently.
  • Observation
  • Elo Score of roughly 2300, which means he's very good at coming up with strategies quickly in games such as Scrabble or Chess.
  • Driving vehicles

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND TALENTS
(These are specialized skills that set you apart from the average person. You have 7 points to spend here, no more than 4 points in each skill or talent. Examples are swordsmanship, sniper, coercion, medic, spellcraft, piloting helicopter, manipulate water, etc. You must take a skill pertaining to a supernatural power if you plan to use that power.)

  • Ability 1 and Points Spent: Combat(Armed and Unarmed) (Sith are wont to stab each other in the back, as such he combines grappling, graceful kicks, and a defensive lightsaber style to quickly subdue an opponent) (1)
  • Ability 2 and Points Spent: Machinery (He's a fixer upper, and at times a test pilot. Though he much prefers making his own upgrades rather than following a set of instructions) (2)
  • Ability 3 and Points Spent: Diplomacy/Eloquence (From mediating arguments between who parked where to convincing you to hand over that last slice of cheesecake) (2)
  • Ability 4 and Points Spent: Da Force (2)

OPTIONAL SUPERNATURAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Ability 1: Telekenisis
    Power Level:
Strengths: All Force Users can typically use the Force to lift up objects, and determine their objects. An example of this is when/if Drathen is forced to use his lightsaber, he uses the Force to spin it at high speeds at a safe distance as a whirlwind shield. An ability almost exclusive to the Sith is the use of Force Lightning, only used when a Sith calls forth is most primal aggression upon a target. Most times he uses it to aid in his crafting.
Weaknesses: Yslarmi, pesky little plothole beasts of the Star Wars universe that create energy bubbles that seemingly sever the User's ties to the Force. If said bubble buggers aren't around, then a broken concentration or another Force/Energy Manipulator can overpower his grasp. He can only manipulate five objects (roughly the size of a potted tree) at the same time with precision. Larger objects require larger exertions of energy. As for Force Lightning, the voltage/severity increases with Drathen's rage, and can be also countered by an equal/more powerful energy wielder.
    Restrictions: See above.

  • Ability 2: Shatterpoint
    Power Level:
    Strengths: (what it does)
    Weaknesses: (what counters it)
Restrictions: (limitations or other factors that hamper it/the character)

  • Ability 3:

Our dear Co-Ops and Cer,

Apologies for my putting this bluntly, but you're mildly nuts.

:p

Come to the light side.  We have teamwork, waffles, popcorn, grape juice, and way too much ramen.

Unless one is a genealogist, therapist, geneticist, or FBI agent - who is acting within the scope of their job - to claim that anyone is wrong about their own identity is not merely absurd but also extremely rude.

Mon, I missed your post. Sorry about that. Turmoil due to lacking a Swith over the weekend.

Killer Lemon Brownies

Ingredients

Brownies:
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
3 eggs

2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest, plus more for icing

Icing:
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.

Beat flour, white sugar, butter, and sea salt together in a bowl using an electric mixer until well mixed. Whisk eggs, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon lemon zest together in a separate bowl; mix into flour mixture and beat on medium speed until smooth, about 3 minutes. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 23 to 25 minutes. Cool until bottom of dish is warm to the touch.

Whisk confectioners' sugar, 1/4 cup lemon juice, vanilla extract, and lemon zest (to taste) together in a bowl until smooth; spread over brownies.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.
