Arty, I've got your IC intro done. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. You might want to review the Building info to get an idea of the setting. viewtopic.php?p=29555719#p29555719.

Your character will awaken with no memories of what happened between the time he was dragged into a shadow and his arrival at the Building. Needless to say, he's not wounded at all, and is completely dry. Nearly all characters are snatched from their home dimensions the moment before their death. It's how they enter the game.

Volker is there to help you adjust to the setting. He'll answer as many questions as he can. There is a Residents' Meeting in the works (people are still gathering while the CoOPs and I sort details) so your character will have a brief moment to locate his room before heading back downstairs to the Dining Room. We'll guide him in the IC, don't worry. I might sent Rudolph back up for this purpose.

That was probably me. It's a problem with the entry message on our channel: it messes up some clients. IIRC, Swith had asked an Esper admin about deleting it.

Also, @Swith, Cer: start the meeting whenever you're ready. A few of us want to continue the conversations, but we know they'll get cut off by the meeting being called to order.

Please don't use voice in the main. I have several reasons. Some people that either do not have the equipment for it (and thus feel excluded) or else are trans and do not sound like their gender (and thus feel excluded or pressured). Also, I can choose to ignore text, reviewing it later for trouble. I don't want to have to listen to everyone's bantz in order to moderate the channel.

It's a channel setting admins can toggle. Can't recall where I found it. My mission was "kill it! kill it before it speaks!"
