I more meant keep the same page, but organize it more. certain tropes don't really apply to modern PL, and vice versa.

Oh shoot, I forgot that. :P

But that means Paper Romy didn't have the time to confess his deepest feelings to Nila when it was a special occasion! Ah plot movement before characters have time to develop! >_<

Oh well, I guess he'll have another chance because he's moved to the library now.

I like how it's slowly being established that the Paper clones are prone to almost recklessly revealing the secrets and flaws of their true selves and giving absolutely no fucks about it. Paper-Neste and Paper-Septimus point out that their real selves are less than stunning parents. Paper-Romy near confesses love for Nila. Paper-Willow describes his real self's biggest insecurity and casually tells everyone about his first crush. Paper-Brit blurts out her real self's failing emotional state. They force reflection and revelation that the flesh people would procrastinate on.

Sorry guys-who-have-chars-with-Cuisine. My flight was today, got back an hour ago, did some unpacking and stuff. Will try to post tomorrow night.

*spritzes fennec with hot chocolate scent*

@Gio Tropes! I need to recover the password for that. Like with so many other things. Oh online life, what have you wrought?

And hmm. Paper Chrys. I wonder how acerbic she'd be about her real self's flaws. :P

Can you just imagine the potential for paper antics, though? Holiday parties are going to be a riot. Valentine's Day's coming up and they could try to set themselves up on dates with their love interests or hang out wit those that don't have one. Oh man, this was a great idea.

Slip em' a $20 and have them pretend to be you for an hour or two, go and prank people.

In regards to your question from...whenever you posted, Cer...

I could see Katya trying to go with Healers, definitely, since I feel she'd be more helpful there.

But damn, I suck at writing up stuff right now. Ugh, I'm just not as connected, literally, which is messing with me. Anything you could suggest? I wanted Katya to be more of a nurse anyways, or just to be helpful in a way that fits her without being a fighter.

Anyone wanting a hot night with Charumati can slip her paper persona $50. Oh, and pick up the tab for dinner. And don't protest too much when she takes your liver afterwards. :D

Two years in a row for me that Valentines Day will be...not really fun.

Eh, fuck it, I don't like people anyways. Just one more day to binge watch TNG and make fun of kids on the internet.

This is my life

Wouldn't that be like screwing a recycling bin? :p

I've never been upset about being single on Valentine's. For one thing, my mom taught me growing up that the holiday was about all kinds of love, family and friends, not just romantic. Also, it always came across as kind of selfish - seeing your fellow human beings happy should make you happy too, not bitter, that's a miserable way to go about life. So maybe the holiday doesn't offer much to you, but neither does someone else's birthday or an outside culture's holiday, and nobody gets jealous or upset over those. Just because the spotlight isn't on you doesn't mean you can't still give a thumbs up to the people it is on and stay content with yourself; I don't have romantic love, but I still celebrate it as a concept out of acknowledgment of it's importance in the world, and that's always been fine with me. Besides, I wasn't miserable being single the other 364 days of the year and it's not like there's any more couples in existence than usual on Valentine's, so it seems silly to start giving a shit now. Either you're fundamentally upset about being alone or you're not, one day doesn't change that, don't try to make couples feel guilty and complain about a cute little holiday just because you can't decide what to do with yourself.

Basically, have self-esteem and don't be a party-pooper.

Oh, and god that, "Ugh, why do we even have Valentine's Day?! Shouldn't we be showing we love each other ALL THE TIME?!" By that logic, we shouldn't celebrate anything.

"Ugh, why do we even have birthdays?! Shouldn't we be showing our friends and family we're happy they exist ALL THE TIME?!"
"Ugh, why do we even have Christmas?! Shouldn't we be showing generosity and goodwill toward each other ALL THE TIME?!"
"Ugh, why do we even have New Years?! Shouldn't we be setting up goals to better ourselves as people ALL THE TIME?!"
"Ugh, why do we even have Easter?! Shouldn't we be happy that Jesus rose from the dead ALL THE TIME?!"
"Ugh, why do we even have Ash Wednesday or Ramadan?! Shouldn't we practicing self control ALL THE TIME?!"
"Ugh, why do we even have wedding anniversaries?! Shouldn't we be happy that we're married ALL THE TIME?!"
"Ugh, why do we even have the fourth of July? Shouldn't we be proud of being American ALL THE TIME?!"

Like oh gee, just throw your lot in with the Jehovah's Witnesses then already.

Seriously, it's an overrated holiday created by a card company to pad their sales. Now it's become a commercial guiltfest that demands you pay a diamond-encrusted Crackerjack prize tribute to a loved one lest their friends deem you unworthy of their approval. Approval can only be gained by outdoing all the other people that are similarly giving their significant others Crackerjack prizes.

I think Agy was my online Valentine last year. Hey, Owl, you up for round two?

*sniffles* He's probably going to the college sock hop with some earthy communist chick. I bet she has copious amounts of armpit hair, too. Fine! If he doesn't ask me, I'm going with Storm. And if Storm is underage, I'm going with Min. And if Cer beats the crap out of me for stealing from his harem, I'll smile through my broken teeth and then go to the ER so they can replace all the lost blood. The moral of this story: there isn't one.

All joking aside, there's nothing wrong with being single on Valentine's Day. You don't need another person in your life just to validate your existence. So if you happen to be single on that day, give yourself the gift of self-acceptance, and then spoil yourself by doing what you most love to do.

Great, now I can't stop thinking about that. Or how the real Charu would react to such a thing.

Course, then again, the liver's a bit too much to pay. Kinda need that to live.
