Character's worst flaw: A fine anger (almost resentment) towards humanity as a whole for their treatment of nevidians since their Ascension to the surface. It worsened, somewhat, during the events in Bielefeld but mitigated by time with the Brisbys and later in the Burrows. Old hatreds die hard though and it wouldn't be hard to reignite those buried emotions.

BACKGROUND

Character Background/Biography:
Hunter Evans is a Nevidian male whose real name is Teero Anjar. His current appearance is an altered at a genetic level; originally having blue eyes (sclera and iris), white hair and extremely pale skin susceptible to severe burns from exposure to sunlight. The method and details of his genetic modification remain unknown. During his time above ground, Hunter was a bartender who led a simple life in a version of London humbled by economic depression and poverty. Eventually he became a member of the Resistance (made primarily of Nevidian sympathizers) that fought against the HGV: a political humans-first extremist group who blamed the Nevidians for the city’s woes. Hunter didn’t choose to fight, he was thrust into it as Nevidians were targeted at random and rampant violence engulfed the neighborhood which quickly escalated to riots and a violent coup of the local government. He attempted to escape the city unnoticed, but found himself defending his fellow Nevidians who wouldn't defend themselves.

As violence of any sort ran counter to his Nevidian upbringing and beliefs, Hunter initially didn’t share the Resistance methods, values or actions and railed against it. He did not seek an active role in the Resistance, but protection from them in their continued struggle to escape the city meant that some beliefs needed to be sacrificed. As more Nevidians fell victim, and moreover unwilling to defend themselves, Hunter eventually took arms. From cellmates, leads and knowledgeable individuals, Hunter learned a myriad of urban warfare and insurgency tactics. His altered appearance to look more 'human', coupled with his people's exceptional eyesight in the dark proved useful for reconnaissance missions, something the Resistance took full advantage of.

Eventually, a new political body overthrew the oppressive regime; laying down the foundation for a more stable and government. Much of the city was destroyed and on a personal level many values and lessons were compromised for the sake of freedom. A heavy weight was lifted off Hunter’s shoulders when the Resistance was disbanded; but there was a burning hatred deep within him that blamed all of humanity despite having sympathizers that fought alongside. A city in ruin did not erase memories and Hunter took the opportunity to leave the city, wanting a new beginning and to bury his past.

He settled into Bielefeld, a hopeful start among stranger beings than himself and found it to be his liking. The city had potential and it was here Hunter thought he could finally leave the past behind and start anew: friends, adventure, even notions of someone special to come home to. He was wrong. The city was facing similar issues with bigotry and racism, abhumans facing growing prejudice and resentment along with a secret police that targeted them. Not wanting to be pushed into another conflict, and still seeing ways to avoid all out violence, Hunter volunteered to be part of the Underground, working with the Brisbys and aiding in evacuating families or key figures quietly or sent to scouting as his more human appearance placed him above reproach from the all-seeing eyes. With the building Resident actively forming groups ranging from public to political, it seemed as though peaceful change was a possibility. His time with the elderly Brisbys tempered his deep seated hatred, and in fact, made him more tolerant as he realized he had unfairly painted the human race with one stroke.

But their efforts wasn’t enough, at least in his opinion. Momentum to change the population’s sentiment was sorely lacking and the Underground's work was slow due to increasing difficulty to move people safely out. Slowly, Hunter became increasingly frustrated by slow action, though he said nothing, convinced and determined to do his part.

That was until he met a man on a bus, who shared and sympathized with Hunter’s view and belief for swift action rather than breaking down the opposition in degrees and levels. The middle-aged man offered Hunter an opportunity to join his group, made of abhumans who thus far had slipped from notice and would work to undermine the current government and if necessary, foment conflict to achieve its goals (what those goals are remain unclear).

Fortunately for Hunter, he didn't have to decide on joining this particular group as everyone in the Building was dropped into Galli. Here, humans did not dominate the landscape and despite the occasional dangers, a new life was a possibility. While he felt a certain responsibility toward the Residents, Hunter wanted a life without increasing burdens and decided to move into the Burrows, going back to his original job as a barkeep. Since the Brisby's arrival, he's worked part time in their tea shop, keeping an eye on the elderly couple out of fond attachment and assisting them in other areas as needed.

Though stained from serving as a waiting room seating area a decade (or two), it remains a firm platform the ass nonetheless.

BACKGROUND
Floral Asian Couch spent the majority of its existence in the 3rd floor surgical waiting room of a small town hospital. It served as a place to sleep for those awaiting news of their loved ones. It babysat countless children, and allowed itself to be used as a platform for coloring books and crayons. It hadn't any sentience until Dr. Ramanbir Narindra, the Building's psychologist, requested a couch for therapy sessions. Ogoti filled the requisition request. Never ask Ogoti to fill these requests. You'll end up with sentient Asian Floral Couches.

Education or Training: It's a fucking couch. There's no training to be a couch. One simple is, and one is content with that lot in life.

"Surely you will not - " Miss Nivea began, before ducking the rabbit on the silver tray. Miss Giovenith squinted through her fringe of white hair. Mr Devine and Miss Calani - did they ever go anywhere separately? - slouched against the wall and sat in the love seat to the wall's left, respectively.

"I believe it is quite fitting. No one was able to agree, and this is quite satisfactory as a method. Even Mr MB agreed to it, and it would of course please most pantheons. The Timelines flow forward, always."

The rabbit, indeed, looked strangely enthused to have a band of fur shaven from his midsection and duct-taped to the floating serving tray. All four paws, both ears, and the tufted tail waved in all possible combinations of directions. It was a dizzying sight for any who dared to look at the Rabbit Pendulum (patent pending). However...what exactly this all had to do with the proper movement of Time no one knew.

Upstairs, Chrys and Luce looked blankly at each other as inexplicable sensations that felt almost like pats of butter melting on them crept up and down their spines. The last time this had happened...is a story perhaps to be told on some other occasion.

No one knew, either, just why an assortment of items had appeared on the large round table at the center of the communal dining room. A handful of handmade alphabet cookies that were the work of the Brisbys. A black circle of crinkled-then-straightened construction paper, no doubt from Pippa-Michelle. A long, obsidian-colored sword with an arrow etched in white near the hilt. MB's own silver top hat, and its partner, Cuisine's bronzed chef hat. (The poor chef had taken time off to recover from having his neck muscles strained by wearing the heavy thing for hours on end every day.) All to represent various board games, some more obscure than others.

Such was game night at Demens Towers.

MB chuffed in disappointment as he began to slow in his arc. Left to right to left again, he passed over the cookies...the paper...the sword...the hats...the sword...the paper...the cookies...and stopped.

Except the cookies were no longer there, and the party erupted in talk. Mr Devine began barking out vulgarities. Miss Nivea looked shocked. Miss Giovenith narrowed her eyes at Mr MB. Mr MB simply kept chuffing. Miss Calani swiveled her gaze, apparently channeling the pendulum.

No one noticed the colors of their clothing (or fur) changing.

Cluedo was a popular game at Demens Towers.

Best way to do it is, "later that afternoon" rather than establishing any set time. I don't know if we have any actives in the Building besides my group. I think it's just the trio in the dining room, and I certainly wouldn't mind if you nudged it from morning to afternoon. Thad, Sep and Nes can write it off as "a long conversation/not paying attention to the passage of time".
