If this arc is supposed to be about survival and stuff like that, you can have Rain try and get a Magical down. It could even increase the suspense if the magical is dead/near death

Also, I don't think it's time to have a huge fight yet. Maybe a quick skirmish, couples shots in and out, but it's not time for something crappy to go down yet.

Abilities or equipment: She can do most all basic magics, although she excels at gimmicky, elemental and illusionary ones, along with some conjuring types. She carries with her a wand that distinctly looks like a magician's one, black with white tips. When she chooses to transform into her more vigilante outfit, it has the look of the usual magician's outfit, although more feminine. Her only problems are mostly small ones, like school and other things. Her powers are kept a secret from others, she can't be too suspicious. Her powers can drain her out, although it takes a while for that to happen. She doesn't have too many friends, which could lead to her getting into trouble.
Do they do anything outside magical world like school, work, something?: She has school
Biography: Anna was born in rural Minnesota, where she was raised until she was 13 years old. She learned about her powers at 10, and was trained by a mysterious man until she had to move. This man was a magic user who had, somehow, discovered Anna with a magical aura. He taught her how to use these powers for good. Her father had gotten a job in Chicago where they moved. It didn't take Anna long to get bored of sitting around doing nothing. Having few friends she needed to worry about, she eventually took up the mantel of a vigilante. She began taking down small crime jobs, and occasionally stopping a couple bigger ones like robberies. She was, of course, disguised. She would study every night, learning about not only algebra, but magic.
Extra notes: I honestly don't plan on making her overpowered, I'm going to assume she knows most magic branches but excels in some but is poor with other ones.

Appearance:

Personality: George is a mostly average, albeit relaxed to the point of laziness/apathy. He's very emotional, preferring morals over logical thinking in situations in which he has to pick. He's slow to anger, but known to be alot more verbal than physical if it comes down to it. He has a sense of humor, but very dry and sarcastic in his approach. He's rather smart, but not quantum physcist levels, either.
Sexual orientation: Straight
Abilities or equipment: George discovered his abilities at a late age, at the age of 22. He immediately realized the danger it would pose to him, and kept it secret. He practiced some of it in his spare time, and began to look into the effects of emotions on magic. He learnt short-distance teleportation and up to 40-lb telekinesis by the age of 25. Since then, he studied his abilities and practiced a lot less, to avoid anyone finding out.

On the other end of the spectrum, his abilities are very weak due to his lack of time and practice. He gets tired out after repetitive use of teleportation, and his telekinesis leaves him with a body ache proportionate to the weight lifted and time lifting. He also has trouble at attacking back in a fight, only excelling in the dodging portion.

Biography: In his early years, George lived a relatively average life, being a child. He had done well in school until his high school years, before slacking his grades down to B's and C's. However, by some stroke of luck, he made his way to a two year college before going to work at his current job. When he first discovered his magic, he had been excited by the ideas of what it meant, before realizing the gravity of the situation. He kept it secret, but remembering the legends of the coffee shop near Chicago, investigated. Upon learning of it, he became a regular, stopping by to enjoy a good drink and some talk.
