Bio:

Born in Washington, DC to Samantha and Edward, Jackman was the oldest of his two siblings. From a very young age, Jackman was very involved in sports, being pushed into softball initially before finding his natural talent in the sport of baseball. Despite his small stature, Jackman was very talented in the Lead-Off Batting spot, and was decent at 2nd Base before finding his true position at Short Stop. It was his natural ability and vision at bat however that allowed Jackman to flourish in the game, garnering the attention of various baseball programs across the Eastern Seaboard. However, Jackman was pushed by his parents to pursue an education over baseball, Edward Jackman deeming baseball nothing more than a simple hobby and way to stay in shape.

Once Jackman graduated from high school, his obedience to his father led him to Chicago, where Edward, a graduate of University of Illinois in Chicago, instructed his son to attend. Although the lifestyle that Jackman wanted, a life in the MLB among the pros, hitting grand slams in front of thousands, was clearly quite the reach from him mainly due to the influence of his parents, Jackman nevertheless continued to work on both his academics, while training hard in order to gather interest from the MLB scouts that may somehow pick up on him. There were rumours that Jackman was potentially being targetted by the Boston Red Socks, San Diego Padres and Kansas City Royals in the upcoming 2014 MLB Draft during his freshman year, but nothing came. No phone call, no announcement, nothing. Jackman had missed another opportunity. Nonetheless, Jackman continued to work himself to death almost, training hard, keeping his grades up so he could maintain his baseball scholarship, but it was to no avail as during his stay in Chicago over the summer for training led Jackman in the middle of the apocalypse.

Personality: "I don't know what to say about her personality, fam. I'm her closest friend but she's always so closed off these days, even to me. She wasn't always like this, she used to be happy and really outgoing, but the stress of school got to her, I guess. Most of the time I see her now, she's quiet and guarded, and sad about something. Before this outbreak happened, she was always really focused on school, to the point that she didn't really have a life outside of it. If you give her a chance to warm up to you, though, she's not bad to be around. She's super smart and she always seems really aware of just about everything. You just have to try to ignore how she's always depressed."

Likes: "I think she likes being around people and observing them from a distance. I don't know, really. Like I said, she never had much of a life outside of school once she got into Chicago. When she first got here, before she was depressed, she was into hanging out with friends all the time and just talking for hours when nobody else was around. She also liked letting go of everything by partying and going to raves, but that was a long time ago. I can't say for sure if she's still into that type of thing. The only thing I'm certain of is that she likes scavenging and making things with her hands. I'm actually shocked that she's a biology student and not a engineering one."

Dislikes: "She really, really doesn't like it when people in a position of authority do things to control her or tell her what to do. And these days, she doesn't like being around a ton of people. I think it's a paranoid thing. She also doesn't like talking about her family, or talking about herself much at all."

Fears: "There isn't that much that scares Cat, but she's deathly afraid of a few things. For one, she's scared shitless of the idea of dying. Two, she's scared of somehow getting the infection and spending the rest of her life as a zombie. Three, and I'm not fully sure about this, she's scared of letting someone get too close to her because there's a chance of betrayal."

Bio: [i]"Cat didn't tell me everything, but this is what I know. Her parents were born in the Bahamas and they were never well off financially, but they managed to immigrate to Canada and move to Ontario. She was born there, in the shadow of Toronto, and her family was pretty poor growing up. But they were smart enough to budget their money so they could take out some loans and start a business, at least. They did IT, and as their business grew, so did their wealth. They had to spend all their time working, and so Cat grew up as a lonely kid who always took care of herself, but by the time she was in high school, they had moved into the city and they had enough money to send her to college in the United States.

Of course, they wanted her to get a high paying job that would let her give some of her money back so they didn't have to work as much, and so they sent her to get a pre med school degree at the University of Chicago even though she was more interested in engineering or psychology. Living on her own in college and studying under a couple of bossy professors(she's always had authority problems, stemming from her problems with her parents) really fucked up her head, and the workload of doing a biology major and a physics minor was too much for her. She's really smart, but the depression got to her and caused her grades to drop way below what they were supposed to be. By the start of her second year, she tried to off herself by taking a bunch of pills but stopped halfway through the bottle because she was too scared of actually dying. She didn't let anyone know about that, and she went back to trying to get her grades up, but then the outbreak happened and took away the only thing that gave her life any kind of structure, school.

I don't know where she is right now, but the last time I saw her, she was scavenging and looting around campus, trying to find a group to set up shop with and ride out the storm. She said she might head downtown to try to find some other survivors who could head out of town with her, if she doesn't find a group on campus that knows what they're doing survivalism wise. I'm worried about her, but at the same time, I think that if anyone can get through a zombie apocalypse, it's her. She's very tough and resilient, even with all her flaws, after all."
