Wow. I've never fallen out due to heat exhaustion, but that sounds like a lot of recovery. Especially with the needles.

I was thinking about taking the Starvation mission after I finished the Graduation mission, maybe we could encounter eachother before/during it and work together and/or fight eachother to get the food?

Aye it was a particularly hot day, and we were on standby at the runway for 30 mins without shelter or water. I sweat much more than the average person, and when we finally got into our EOD attire (Helmet, vest and the stuff), the 200m run and the will to beat the previous squadron's timing just inflated the stress factor which had a few of us sitting down with minor blackouts.

Could work. I'll be making my intro post soonish, since it's the weekend and all.

Yeah, the First Team cut close to their time, and we cut it further after some feedback. So it's kinda satisfying to have the assistants nodding their approval while feeling lightheaded, trying to take off all our stuff.

Because that squadron belonged to the base I hated most (They didn't let us down with plenty of administrative screwups every year we return), the satisfaction's right there.

Realistically speaking a lone person would probably be killed trying to enter such a place. A group would fare marginally better, but it's still pretty much a death wish without a plan.

Go for it, although I assumed the Infected to make it through would go after the nearest person. Unless Alan moved closer to the door when Samantha did?

Bio: Born in New York City, in the Manhattan area, to Steve and Cindy Pikeman, he had quite a normal upbringing and early childhood. By middle school, it was already known that Alex really loved sports, the more competitive the better, so his gym teacher talked to him one day after hours and offered him the possibility to sign up for a Karate training after-school class. He immediately agreed, and started the following week. He continued training and going to Karate competitions throughout the state (most of which he managed to win) until close to graduation, when he had a change of heart and left the martial arts scene in search of another fighting sport, where he could be able to use the skills he had learned in his seven years of martial arts training.

He started by boxing in the local gyms at first, against regulars there. With the speed and strength he gained over the years, it was not really a big challenge, but one nonetheless. That is, until one day, some less-known professional kick-boxer showed up and said that whoever could beat him in a fair match would get his place. To prove it, his boss was next to him, confirming that he would give this guy's position to anyone who could beat him in a fight.

Wasting no time, Alex was the first to raise his hand and offer to fight him in the ring. This time, though, it proved to be a challenge, as his opponent was using tricks he hadn't known about, and almost managed to beat him, until Alex delivered a solid punch to his neck, which knocked him down and out of breath, and won Alex the match. After that, he gained the guy's position and started kick-boxing professionaly, slowly rising through the ranks until becoming a well-known athlete in the kick-boxing world.

When news of the infection started, Alex was in Chicago, preparing for a match he would have had in the later part of the afternoon. He immediately got in his keep and started driving back towards New York, but was stopped at a checkpoint and told to turn back and try to find one of the safezones. He never did find any. One week ago, due to the seemingly crazed infected trying to eat everyone, he settled down at 2800 N Broadway Street, a trailer park. After having deemed it a safe place, he arranged the trailers as a circling wall around him, having to kill the occasional infected that tried sneaking up on him as he was working on building his safe place. A couple of days later, when he finished his makeshift wall, he found a radio transmitter as he was exploring through the trailers. Since then, he's been broadcasting non-stop, and when he wasn't awake or was otherwise busy, he'd leave music on. He wasn't sure anyone was listening, but hoped that if anyone did, he'd at least give them a little hope, if nothing else.
