Occupation: Junior Nurse at one of the major Chicago Hospitals.
Immunity: None.

Equipment: Surgical Knives, basic medical equipment, baseball bat.

Skills: Due to a sense of self preservation, her evasion skills are rather noticeable.

Weakness: is easily prone to panic, meaning she's not much use fighting the dead on the front lines.

Personality: Hitomi is a borderline pacifist with a slight mean streak. She's increasingly paranoid about the zombies, to the point of near hysteria when she's by herself. Most of the time she's nervously muttering to herself, keeping her current position secure.
Likes: cute things, being safe.
Dislikes: her Supervisor, Zombies, being alone in zombieland.
Fears: Getting infected.

Bio: Growing up, Hitomi lived in a rather xenophobic part of the U.S. She was constantly bullied due to her heritage, to the point the family moved to get away. She grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. At sport, she gained a sense of dodging, as she found she was rather weak at sports in general. The only sport where she was good was Baseball. She played for a little league team when she was 10, and helped win a tournament when she was 12.

During her teenage years, she took an interest in Medicine, eventually graduating from a Boston Medical school with average grades. She was deemed suitable for a Nurse. She was hired by a general hospital in Chicago, where she found herself constantly frustrated with her inept supervisor, who abused the doctor-patient relationship to a. Nauseating degree. During the outbreak, she hid in a Private Patient room and avoided any zombie incidents. At present, she has survived by scavenging for food and fortifying the patient room, though she's starting to go a bit nuts from paranoia and lack of sleep.

Hitomi is American and supposedly white for the most part with "distant Japanese ancestry", which I assume to be at the closest a grandparent if not further removed than that, and yet your name is pretty much Japanese which is unlikely if the heritage is only a distant anecdote by this point. Essentially your nationality/ethnicity conflicts. Equipment is all your belongings and while I don't mind keeping things limited you don't have much that would warrant survival, such as food and the like. As for the Bio, not gonna say it doesn't happen but racism towards Asians doesn't seem to be as prolific as it is with other minorities, and again, Hitomi is supposedly white for the most part. Hospitals would also be a very bad place for non-immune people to hide and there is a huge chance that Hitomi would have come in contact with the virus if she was on active duty at any point leading up to the city's collapse. Lastly, it's been a month since things went to hell so I wouldn't mind a little bit more to the bio concerning how you survived (currently it makes it seem as if no time at all has passed from start to now).

Others may well have an anti-anime bias concerning the picture, but so long as everything else checks out that's no big deal. Also, the Infected aren't "dead" and are very much alive for future reference.

Yes. They're not undead like most zombies (George Romero, TWD, etc.) but are merely humans suffering from catastrophic brain damage that has reduced them to a feral state (28 Days Later, L4D, etc.). As such, headshots are not required to kill an Infected but their damaged pain reception means that wounds not immediately fatal won't much affect them given where the damage takes place.

She played for a little league team when she was 10, and helped win a tournament when she was 12. She participated in a BB-rifle marksman competition where her first shot was a bulls-eye.

During her teenage years, she took an interest in Medicine, eventually graduating from a Boston Medical school with average grades. She was deemed suitable for a Nurse. She was hired by a general hospital in Chicago, where she found herself constantly frustrated with her inept supervisor, who abused the doctor-patient relationship to a Nauseating degree. She survived by scavenging for food and vacating the rather dangerous hospital, though she's starting to go a bit nuts from paranoia and lack of sleep. After deciding the hospital was unsafe, she left rather quickly, fleeing to another safe zone in a hotel near the hospital. She was lucky and hid from the Infected with other hotel residents, but needed to make a quick escape when the Infected started invading the hotel. At present, she is making her way to any safe spot left, having picked up a hunting rifle and ammunition from another survivor who had died from getting mauled by the Infected.
