Thought it was only a handful that were being quarantined? Those with no injuries (potential vector for infection) should have been fine since the other civilians from earlier were allowed in without much hassle (save for the bitten guy that was shot).

Would it be possible for me to RP as a former Professor in Biology (PhD) from the University of Chicago doing an independent study of the disease to find a vaccine and/or cure? Sure, but don't think you're gonna miraculously find a cure anytime soon. Also, know that given the current state of things, studying the disease would be rather difficult since you'd probably lack a functioning lab. Otherwise, don't see why not.

Terribly sorry for not posting yet. I've had some rather bad writer's block for this storyline, and don't really like any of the ideas I've come up with for my next post. I'll see about getting something up in the afternoon, though.

Alright. So, as one can see, things have been slow, terribly so, and judging by the poll approximately half of those still interested cannot post. Considering that my XCOM RP died after a major slowdown comparable to this I have to ask: should Outbreak go on hiatus and come back at a later date? I understand that Outbreak was a major thing that brought many of us together in the first place, and I want to develop this world into something expansive with No Man's Land and whatever spin-offs happen, but if this was perhaps a bad time for a reboot... I could make another poll, but I'd like to hear from those present their thoughts on the matter concerning the prospect of a hiatus.

I'm going to be MIA for about a week starting tomorrow, so the matter is much out of my hands, but I will say this; When I'm back in a week I'd like to see OUTBREAK at the top of my "View your posts" page.
