Nationality: United States of America
Ethnicity: African American
Age/DOB: 32 (April 23rd, 1983)
Pic/Description: Douglass is a quite medium weight man who weighs around 205lbs and is 5’12 in height. He has a scar that is somewhat darkened across his left eye from a bar fight when he was 25
Occupation: Before the virus, Douglass was a hard working, middle class man working in a steel mill on the south side of Chicago providing for his now separated and or deceased family.
Immunity: None
Equipment:
[*]A somewhat large camping backpack
[*]A large, Purple polo shirt
[*]A pair of Jeans, somewhat rugged
[*]A hammer
[*]A canteen with his name engraved on the back (Half filled with purified water
[*]Steel toe boots
[*]3 Granola bars
Skills: During his time before the infection, Douglass associated himself with cooking as a natural born expert. (Can cook meals that are long lasting and satisfying) He also enjoyed a variety of smithing, and frequently made medieval style toys for his eldest son to play with (Can make somewhat well fashioned metal equipment if given time). While he did take a hunting test and passed with a mostly good score, he never found time to go hunting because of work and family. (Knows a little about firearms, but has never handled one outside of a hunting rifle)
Weakness: Although he is naturally strong, he can’t stand the sight of someone suffering. He also hates heights with a passion, and will only climb upwards if he is in a life threatening situation or if its been proven to be safe. There can be some instances in where he will wake up from sleep and reach for the nearest weapon and attack before regaining self control. This was due to a close call in which a man almost shot him in the head for accidentally injuring him.
Personality: Douglass has a slightly colorful personality, and enjoys the smaller things in life. While making sure he can help himself first, he will try his best to help others in need.
Likes: Douglass likes to cook, build equipment, and play football. He also enjoyed reading the newspaper front to back on Sunday mornings before the virus outbreak.
Dislikes: Douglass hates spiders, childish music, and people who don’t return respect when it is given to them by him.
Fears: Douglass has an irrational and permanent fear that someone will come for him and kill him when he isn’t aware. Aside from that, he dislikes spiders and refuses to kill an animal unless it’s for food. (Except the Mutts)
Bio: Douglass lived a fairly nice upbringing, and generally was a good kid that stayed out of trouble. He made fairly decent grades, and by 17 he graduated high school. When he turned 18, his life hit rock bottom. His mother, Maudie, had been diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctors told her her life expectancy was only 1-2 months, because it was Stage IV when she found out. He began to drink, heavily. He used all of his mothers money on beer and liquor to try and drown out the sorrows he had suffered. When his mother found out, she told him simply words he would never forget. “You won’t live long in this world like this, my time has come but your’s ain’t!” she would had told him with a slight chuckle of seriousness. She passed two days after that, and Douglass braved through it, knowing and understanding he had to be strong.
He would later on get a steady job as a steel mill worker to help provide for his younger brother, who was only 9. Little did he know at that time, his job would become a life passion and career choice to stick with. When the great recession of 2008 hit, he once again was out of work for a good while. Saving his money up in a small stash under a picture of him and his mother, he would take a small amount of it, and live life a little. He went out to a bar one night and met a lady named Maria. She was the finest woman Douglass laid eyes upon. He would later marry her, and proceed to have a child with her, a son named Rickey. Rickey grew up and older, alongside Douglass and Maria, and turned 7 before they even knew what had happened. A couple of months passed, and he was readmitted to his old job in the steel mill, and some of the workers from his day that managed to stay around greeted him with cheers of joy and reunion. Later after a few weeks, his life was effectively ruined. Pushed into a quarantine after the initial breakdown of society, he was separated from his family. Now it is the present day, and Douglass roams alone, like that of a ghost that always slept somberly.

Occupation: Before the outbreak, Cerberus Dead-Eye was a history professor. However, the collapse of society has forced him to become a hunter in order to feed himself and his pregnant wife (who he married a week before the Outbreak).
Immunity: none
Equipment: A hatchet (for cutting firewood). A bowie knife (for skinning animals). A Crossbow. A quiver full of bolts. Two canteens (one full of rum. The other with water)
Skills: Boxing, knife fighting, and hunting
Weakness: Cerberus Dead-Eye is a superstitious man, often avoiding activities and areas that he views as dangerous. He lacks depth perception, making it difficult to fight an opponent attacking him from the right. He is an alcoholic (the only complaint he makes when he's in a group is "why is the rum gone"). Being an agnostic (he was a Catholic before the Outbreak and is currently dealing with a crisis of faith), Cerberus Dead-Eye often gets into arguments over religion. His anger, if provoked to be violent can cause him to act recklessly in battle. He is an alcoholic.
Personality:Cerberus Dead-Eye is a superstitious man more concerned with survival than how the world ended. While he may act like a nice guy, getting him angry enough will cause him to attack and kill anything in his path.
Likes:Rum, Cigars, and fortunetellers.
Dislikes:Anyone who harms or threatens his family. Zealots. Groups that have a "no tobacco and/or alcohol" rule
Fears:Not being able to protect his family
Bio: Prior to the outbreak, the man who would become Cerberus Dead-eye was a history professor that was down on his luck the week of the outbreak. Not only did his students call him a Nazi every time he walked into the room, but he would be fired the next day due to budget cuts. A drunk pulled out a switchblade and challenged him to a fight. He politely refused to fight and got his right eye gouged out for his trouble. Enraged, he poked the man's eyes out with a dusty old pool cue and laughed as the now blind asshole tried to cross the street during rush hour. Upon seeing the bartender turn into one of the infected and charge at him, he beat his attacker to death with a nearby guitar and left the bar, the cops being dragged out of their cars by the undead. Once he arrived at his house, he found his neighbor trying to loot the house and beat the man to death with his bare hands, every blow to the head reminding him of his days on the high school boxing team. Once he was sure the man was dead, He reminded himself that if he had not killed those 3 men, they would have killed him.
He then found his wife (who had just discovered she was pregnant) hiding in the master bedroom and told her to grab as much of whatever they would need as they could carry, but not before he grabbed a bottle of rum. They then headed for the countryside, knowing that there was no hope for survival if they stayed in the deathtrap the city would become. Cerberus Dead-Eye, desperate for sanctuary, joined a group hiding in church and began using the skills he learned during his survivalist phase to assist the group. However, when the leader of the group, a local priest, attempted to rape Sarah (the wife of Cerberus Dead-Eye), he pinned his head to the wall of the church with a well-placed crossbow bolt. Knowing that the group (who still had not figured out that the world they knew was never coming back) would lynch him if he stayed, Cerberus Dead-Eye and his wife left the church without saying a word or looking back, doubt filling his mind. They chose to not stay in one place, moving from one area to another.
