Well, this was confusing..he had no idea why he was here. Or what had happened.. That's what a certain red eyed boy was thinking, as he once again appeared from his shadows. It wasn't exactly his fault..he was always losing interest in the world, sooner or later, and that meant that he was always missing from time to time, probably sleeping. And that also meant that many parts from his memories were missing, so he often found himself randomly appearing in places, without any recollections of what had happened. He was pretty used to that.. but now.. what was the last thing he could remember? Something about the entire place being frozen and cold....and something about a demonic orb..

Yes, it seemed that he was still in the amphitheater... but this place looked as if it had been ransacked by a big battle..why was he always missing all the nice stuff..? But well, it was rather obvious that he had missed something pretty big.. so he had to ask someone about that. Deep in his own thoughts however, the brown haired god had failed to notice the presence of another divine being somewhere in front of him, only suddenly noticing it then. It was a girl, a white haired one. She was barely managing to stand, and her physical form seemed to glimmer..something seemed to have happened to her, but her blue eyes seemed to be filled with a combination of.. shock, confusion, and some determination. What had even happened to her? Curious, Heros approached her. "Hey, are you okay?", the Thracian god asked, perhaps a little worriedly.

Charlotte still looked scared about the idea of Mara growing wings, and as he finished healing Tlaloc, he flew behind Mara and examined her "wings". The sharp, tiny bumps on her back were black and wicked-looking. His expression showed no surprise or concern, though he did seem curious as to why this cute, bubbly little child was seemingly growing demon wings. "Soon you will be able to begin learning how to fly, Miss Mara. I would be very happy to teach you, if you want," Lux offered.

Xavier saw this as well, and concern showed very much on his face. This sweet little girl was going to be a demon? At least that's what he saw, when she turned to Charlotte, and he saw the black stumps on her back. What sorts of dark powers was she hiding? Even more disturbing than that, who were her parents? Charlotte had denied being her parent, though Mara did look a little bit like her. Charlotte had attested that to her being her little sister, but then that meant that neither of Mara's parents were known. One of them was a demon, however, and this part made him nervous.
Turning away from Cade after her rather disturbing(for a little girl) pronouncement, she grinned at Lux. "I think she's going to teach me to fly, but if you wanna help you can," she replied cheerfully, pointing at Charlotte. "She's got wings, too. You just can't see them right now. They're really shiny."

Meanwhile, Charlotte saw the look on Xavier's face, and her hands curled into fists. This was exactly what she'd been afraid of. They didn't even know the truth about her daughter, and they were already judging her, silently, because of what she was.

They have no right to judge her... I don't care what they think of me, it's probably all true, but it's not Mara's fault! She's just a little girl, it's not like you can blame her for what her father did! It's not her fault!

Xavier looked down at Charlotte's hands, and he saw that she was tense. Did Mara's excitement make her nervous? Or was she tired from the fighting? She seemed very angry about something, however. "...Charlotte, are you alright? Do you want me to help you back to your dorm? You look exhausted. Or is something on your mind?" he inquired, as he remained next to Tlaloc while Lux watched Mara.

"Oh! So she is an angel as well!" Lux answered Mara kindly, before showing her his own wings. They glittered cheerfully, since now the battle was over and his body was able to relax. They seemed almost aware of Mara's presence, and thus the tiny stars inside seemed to dance for her, and even zipped around and with each other. "I am one myself. So perhaps we are related!" He then used one wing, which was soft like feathers, and he stretched it forward to tickle Mara with it.

"...No, thank you," Charlotte replied, her voice strained as she tried to keep from snapping at him. As if he would actually care if she told him the truth. None of the angels would. She knew that.

After all, none of them had cared then. No one had saved her, and no one had interceded on her behalf when she was condemned. And if they knew the truth about Mara, they'd condemn her, too. Another innocent little girl caught up in things she didn't understand. "It's nothing you need to worry about."

Mara, on the other hand, shook her head, smiling brightly at Lux. "Nope! She's not an angel, I don't think. Not really. Sort of? I don't know. It's weird."

Then he started to tickle Mara, and she squealed with delight, giggling, "No! Stop it, stop it!" and running to hide behind Cade.

"...Why does everyone keep thinking she's my mommy?" she muttered. If she were to be perfectly honest, she had no idea what she was saying. The words just kept coming to her, a little voice whispering This is what you need to say. "I think you're scaring her a bit, y'know? An' I know why. 'Cause she's seventeen, and I'm only four, but if she were my mommy that would mean she was thirteen when I was born. An' that's too young to be a mommy, isn't it?"

He realized his slippage of words, and nodded. He hadn't meant to say that, and while Charlotte did look a lot older than Mara, he knew it wasn't right to accuse anyone out of the blue for that...that was just a word that'd come to mind, is all. "Ah, of course, my apologies. Just a slip of tongue, is all." He replied, still feeling a bit embarrassed by his mistake. She then turned her attention to the angel, Lux, ignoring Cade entirely. He just stayed silent from there, not wanting to make any more mistakes as he had.
"Don't let him get me, Mr. Cade," she whispered, clinging to Cade's leg and peeking out at Lux. "Don't wanna get tickled more. Don't wanna."

She was standing there trembling from the overwhelming fear and anxiety that had made its way into her mind, and when the deity spoke, she seemed unresponsive. Just below a whisper, her shaky voice repetitively muttered the same phrase.

"I don't wanna die..."

Her fate was much worse than that, however, as she was doomed to fade from existence and be forgotten by both death and memory. And what she just felt was a taste of what was to come.

He was caught a bit by surprise when Mara suddenly ran behind him and clung to his leg, pleading him to stop Lux from tickling her further. He couldn't help but be glad he'd chosen to not wear shorts or anything like that, since he didn't know what skin contact would do to the girl. He wasn't totally in control of his powers, after all, and his touch was known to be deadly. She didn't seem to be exactly human, but it was better to be safe than sorry. He smiled, though, and looked down to her with a content expression and a soft chuckle. "I will protect you, then," He announced to her, with somewhat of a playful look. "Protecting innocent children from tickles is the biggest responsibility someone like I can have!"

Heros
Even if he had asked her if she was okay, the white haired goddess in front of him did not seem to notice him at all..as she gave him no sort of answer. Trembling in fright, she did not even look at him, as she just continued to repeat the same thing, over and over again.. that she did not want to die..she truly, truly looked scared..but the red eyed god had no idea why. He had never met her before, he had no idea who she was..and more importantly, he had no idea.. about what had just happened here. About what he had missed. With no information about that..he just couldn't know why she was so afraid. And for a divine being to be afraid of dying.. it would be pretty safe to say that something had happened to her.. either now, or sometime in her past. But this put him in a difficult position.. he clearly couldn't just leave her like that, but how could he even help her?

"Hey..", the red eyed god tried to say, hesitating."It's okay.. you're not going to die." Taking one step closer to her, Heroes tried to touch her shoulder, hoping that she would finally notice him.. maybe.

Tlaloc

Tal sat gasping, taking in the wreckage around him, as one of his students, an angelic Throne named Xavier, slowly healed him, lung and ribs stitching themselves back together, albeit painfully, at a remarkably fast pace. He made a side note to give all of these kids 'A's later on. The gymnasium was a wreck. Snow and ash blew in from a cracked "Snow" biome, heat shimmering in the distance, from the surging magma of a "Volcanic" one. The roof was practically non-existent, having caved in from the battering it had taken. The creatures he had meticulously captured roamed free, skulking around the still rune enclosed structure, or cowering within their shattered homes.

Putting his hand on the angels shoulder, he stopped the healing process, shoving himself to his feet, with a groan. "Thanks, kid. But leave some of that. I've been in need of a cool scar anyway," he said, with a smile. Looking out over the destruction, he sighed, and turned to face his students, fingers snapping, dispelling the protective runes sealing them within the compound.

"There's no way to truly say what needs to be said here. I'm currently filled with a lot of emotions, disappointment and disgust with myself, for being so careless, sadness, and compassion for what was once inside of me, but mostly, pride. I'm proud of all of you, for what you did here. There's no other way to say it. You saved your own lives, and those of countless others. You're heroes. You saved the day. And I'm proud of you. Thank you. Thank all of you. I removed the barriers. Go back to your dorms. Relax. You've earned it."

Hyperion

Hyperion sat down, catching his breath, hands still a little shaky from the conflict. Listening to Tal speak, he couldn't help but notice the pain behind his old friends calm facade. The sheer wreckage around them was hard to take in. They'd done all of this, they and their teacher, stopping a creature who's only crime was being born.

He chuckled lightly, shaking hands clapping together, and pulling apart, revealing a pair of battered sunglasses, Hyperion calmly placing them up over his eyes, his sunny exterior returning.

"Never thought I'd say this, but can I go to Math class now?"

Smiling, he picked up his tattered shirt, tossing it over his shoulder, and shrugged, looking at the wreckage behind him.

"Hey!" He said, calling out behind him, "Who else wants to see if this place has a beach?"

Lucifer

He turned on Azazel, fire in his eyes. "You dare refer to me as "little one?" growled Lucifer, and his sword coalesced in his hand. The black blade seemed to darken the room, absorbing the light and inspiring terror in its enemies-- or, intending to, at least. Lifting the blade over his head, Lucifer brought the blade down. Azazel dodged, but the razor-sharp edge managed to cut the other demon's forearm, drawing blood. Lucifer grinned before springing away, to avoid being wounded himself.

"This is what happens when you disrespect me!" A manic tinge crept into his voice, and his eyes lit up with menace.

"You can't win, little brother," taunted Satan. "I'm just better, and that gives me every right to COMMAND YOU!"

Lucifer paced circles around Azazel, blade raised.

Azazel

He'd grown distracted during his brief conversation with Filia, and even from Hyperion's comment about the beach. Unfortunately, that cost him a half second when Lucifer's blade gouged his arm. Azazel hissed, but didn't even look at the wound, or acknowledge its presence as he pulled out his shape-shifting knife.

"That's just not fair, Lucifer," Azazel said, his eyes narrowing, still casually rolling his switch blade between his fingers, "You know I could never turn down a good fight." He didn't move, still within a few meters of the other demon, gaze trained on the circling devil, who seemed rather angry himself, "I accept your challenge. If you happen to defeat me, then I'll bend my knee to your every whim. Otherwise," two wings burst from his shoulders, their black feathers in stark contrast to his white hair and red coat, flaring out well beyond the reach of his arms, the demon's size seemingly amplified by their presence, a shadow cast over his face, "well, your pride's going to be wounded enough that I won't need any more compensation."

The two stood for a moment, sizing each other up, completely different looks in their eyes. Azazel's were cold, calculating, while Lucifer seemed to be brimming with fury, a snarl taking over his features as Azazel's blade shifted itself in his hands, grip adjusting quickly, naturally to what was now a glaive, "I'm ready when you are." If anything, he seemed more focused than angry, his lip starting to curve upward in a sneer, because he knew that he couldn't lose, not to Lucifer, not even looking at the others when he spoke to them, "Don't interfere. You have my word that I'll do my best to let this pest live to see the light of day."

Andrew

Andrew found himself wondering about, but his fallen brother caught his attention. Or, more specifically, Lucifer and Azazel were fighting for heavens knew what. He appeared in the room they were both in, and it seemed they were aching to fight each other.

He stood out of their sight, and kept himself cloaked from their vision. He smiled to himself at their fighting, though he also wondered what troubles could arise out of it. With that, he felt himself compelled to do something, though he stayed silent.

Watching quietly, he noted silently to himself "What's the deal with these two no? Can Demons not stop fighting each other? Surely they can. What is their beef with one another?" He narrowed his eyes, and watched.

Lucifer

With a cry, he flung himself at Azazel, slashing with all his strength at the other boy's leg. The strike was restless, though, and easy enough for Azazel to see coming. He sidestepped, and managed to wound Lucifer with his glaive. All the muscles in the demon boy's body contracted, and he stood on the balls of his feet, ready to strike once more. His arm was freely bleeding, but it wasn't going to be fatal. He hoped.

"You aren't better than me! I am the Prince of Hell! You dare challenge me, little brother?" A glimmer of insanity showed in his face. "None can defeat me. I'm... INVINCIBLE!" he screamed as he lunged again, driven by the force of his anger and madness.

It is often said that madmen are hard to kill, because they will do anything to prove themselves justified. This most certainly held true here.

Had his fellow demon not been so completely immersed in his anger, perhaps even indignance, Azazel would have thought that he was, perhaps, holding back, or perhaps even baiting him into thinking that he was slower than he was. But as it was, Azazel could already tell that Lucifer's speed, and perhaps his sheer strength, were inferior to his own. For certain, though, the devil was having trouble keeping his cool, and as a result was attacking like a wild animal.

He'd killed many a wild animal.

"Invincible? Forgive me, but I have my doubts as to that." This time,he parried the thrust, stepping to the side to avoid any sort of projectile that could have followed up the attack while also knocking away that wicked blade. The next strike, a follow up to his parry that would catch Lucifer not only off balance from the stab, and even more from its misdirection, but with his blade too far to bring around and defend himself.

Azazel crouched down, almost a blur as Tetsu shifted into a Roman gladius, a single, swift strike sheering through the flesh and muscle of his opponent's calf before he leapt back behind the devil, drawing what had quickly shifted into a bow in midair and firing a trio of barbed arrows at Lucifer's back, hoping to hit him before he could recover from his right leg being unable to support any weight, and then landed a good distance away, his weapon's shape returning to that of a glaive.

"You should know better than to attack without thinking, imp," Azazel scowled, watching his foe, "As I've told many of those who have fallen to Tetsu's bite, combat is not a mere contest of power, but a chess match in which the victor can outthink his enemies. So if you wish to continue after that," the demon's lips curled up in a sneer, "Id be happy to see just how breakable you are, little one."

Filia Umbrarum

Filia smiled at Harmini and nodded. Yes, she would be happy to help those who are injured with the angel kids and see if things are safe. She didn't really have any healing powers aside from self-healing, but the goddess was willing to do everything she could anyway. "You can count on me." Filia spoke softly, "I'll be glad to help."

Filia melted into a shadow and began looking for injured to help. However, as she looked, the goddess was disturbed by shouting and looked to see none other Lucifer in yet another fight with Azazel. Growling and cursing in frustration, Filia began to get fed up with this constant arguing and bickering. She stormed towards the two demons and unleashed several tendrils of darkness, binding both Lucifer and Azazel in a tight grip as she separated them. "Alright I'm beginning to fucking have with you two fighting like this!" she barked with a loud commanding voice that called out to the heavens, "Now ether you stop fighting or I'm gonna make you fighting, godddamnit! Perhaps some time separated in my dungeons could make you stop? Huh?!"

Azazel

The demon didn't take his eyes off Lucifer for an instant, knowing that doing so could result in his being attacked off guard, but he laughed, nonetheless. "Oh, please little girl. Don't try and sound more intimidating than you are. I've experienced the fires of Hell, nothing you can do compares to that." His wings curled in tightly, in preparation for defense if need be, blood still dripping down his forearm, "Besides, your boyfriend started the fight, and its not as if I'm going to kill him."

The harder he fights, though, the closer I'll bring him.

"Unless you want to surrender, Lucifer. Honestly, you're mobility has been completely compromised. All I need to do to keep you from moving at all is break a wing, and that's not going to be difficult at all. So can we call an end to this charade?" Tetsu changed once again, morphing itself into a hand axe, while his free hand came up, an AK-74u submachine gun materializing in his hand, aimed directly at this so-called prince of hell, "I'm afraid that if not, I'm going to have to put a few more holes in you."

Lucifer

He reached back and snapped the arrows in his back. "I thank you for your concern--" he paused as the barbed tips shifted in his abdomen. "--Filia, but I think I can handle this scum from Hell," he said with a psychotic grin. He raised his blade and limped toward Azazel before he collapsed to one knee. Steeling himself, he began to move forward- step by step. The bloodied boy collapsed by the time he got to Filia, falling into an unconscious stupor at her feet.

This lasted all of one second, before he woke and attempted to continue his charge, but collapsed again. His body failing him, he fell unconscious once more. It was over. He had lost.

At this, Charlotte looked away from watching Mara play and frowned.

You can't heal the devil! He's the devil! Remember what I said earlier? Without him and his ilk, we'd still be the same! We'd still be home!

But I can't just leave someone injured like that...

"Here, let me," she said quietly, moving over to Filia and putting one hand on Lucifer's shoulder, letting her power flow into him and heal him. "...Be careful, okay?" she added, clearly concerned for the other girl. I don't want anyone else getting hurt like I did.

Syrixces wrote:Tlaloc

"Sounds like a plan to me. Though I already think I know where the beach is..." Patriah stretched and began to follow Hyperion, wanting to leave the classroom, and the awful events that had occurred, behind him. It would be nice and warm outside, and he could lay on the beach and get warm. Having grown-up in the desert, he naturally preferred scorching heat. As he walked by, he turned toward Hamiri. "...Are you gonna come? Or are you gonna go do something else?" he asked, curiously. At first, he did not know how she was feeling, but when he looked at her, he could tell that she still had things on her mind. She was standing near Hadryn, who had been dead for some time now. Thus, he walked over to her and stood with her. "...Hey...if it makes you feel any better...well...you didn't know him well, so...that helps, doesn't it?" he asked.

"...No...a kid died here...They literally died here on the first day of school...and nobody seems to care...I'm going to go bury him, and then I guess I'll meet with you...I'll have to go change into something lighter, first, though...now that it's hot..." She was anxious about how the rest of the school year would go from here. The first day of classes, and a student was dead. A teacher had also nearly died, and multiple students were injured. Nobody had seen the events of the day coming either. What else would be coming, and how would they prepare for it if even the teacher was not prepared?

Patriah understood her concerns, however, and he nodded to her. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders, and hugged her awkwardly. Even as he understood the emotions of others, he was never good at showing affection. It made him feel...open. Too open. To open to other people-with the exception being Hamiri-was dangerous. If he showed weaknesses to others, they could attack him. He always had to have his guard up, as a Mage. It was his job. He then picked-up Hadryn for her, and walked out with her, showing her his support.

Still inside the room, Xavier nodded to Tlaloc, as he spoke to him and thanked him. "It's no problem, Professor. I just hope you're okay. And um...if you want any help fixing the roof, I can always help," he offered, as he looked up at the ceiling-or up at where the ceiling had been a few minutes ago. The sky was perfectly blue, and the air was warm again. Even with all of the awful things that had happened, he was glad that he would be able to get out of class and to enjoy what was left of the free time.

Lux, all the while, was chasing Mara around, once again not paying any attention to his surroundings it seemed. He would float after her and tickle her with her wings, smiling the whole time. He continued to smile slightly, as though nothing had happened that day. What went on inside his head was pretty much a mystery, as was everything else at this dangerous new school.

Andrew was shocked to an extent at what happened, as Satan fell. He hadn't expected it to be honest, but it happened. It was also a pleasant sight to see the bastard fall to the ground. Though, the fact the wanted to heal him was rather disappointing. Though, he's day would come eventually.

With that, Andrew revealed himself to be seen now that Satan had fallen into oblivion, and he walked out into plain sight. "I've seen a great many things, but I've never seen such a interesting performance by Lucifer." He said out loud, intending to be healed. He walked slowly us to the group, staying 20ft away. "He doesn't seem to be in the best state at the moment does he?" He said keeping the pleasure out, especially considering this was his own doing.

The fighting had finally reached Lux's eyes and ears, and he stopped playing with Mara as he noticed the weapons that Azazel had manifested. He stood straight now, and his expression became blank, almost mechanical. He also unfolded his wings slightly, almost as a bearded lizard might open its collar to scare away a predator. However, Lux's wings acted far more subtly. He then turned to him, and as Lucifer passed-out behind him, he stared down the demon. "...You are a demon. Please do not continue to fight, or I will have no choice but to exterminate you. You will not attempt anymore violence than has happened," he ordered, quietly. He then acknowledged that Lucifer had fallen, and he looked behind him briefly as Filia and Charlotte knelt near him. He felt no personal sympathy for Lucifer, as he was also a demon. However, more violence would only add more stress to an already-stressed-and-tired class of students. Turning back toward Azazel, he continued, "Your opponent is down. There is no need for you to continue. If you fire, I will knock you unconscious as is necessary." He unfolded his wings just a little more, now, showing them at their full width, and he stood like a statue.

Lucifer

Blackness. Unconsciousness. Worse than the fires of Hell.

He couldn't see. Or hear. Or smell. Or feel.

He only knew.

This is what he knew.

He knew that he'd attacked Azazel without any real pretext. He knew he was petty. He knew he was lonely. He knew he was proud. He knew he was in pain. He knew he would do it again, given the chance. He knew he regretted what he'd done. And he knew...

his pride would never trouble him again.

A soothing voice eased him back into wakefulness. HE stared up into the sky, and asked with a new, low, faltering voice...

"Did we win?"

he looked for Tal, bt could not find him.

"Did that old bastard survive?"

He felt... good.

"I couldn't a agree more, sheep." The gun dissipated in his hand, "I made it very clear that I have no intention to kill him. But I have to say, that was a little bit too easy. I was hoping for at least a challenge." Tetsu morphed its shape, no more than a switch blade by the time he sheathed it, brushing past Lux, speaking to him loud enough for the others to hear, "Now, first off, never threaten me again, because I can guarantee that following through on those threats won't turn out well for you. I grow weary of your prejudice and stereotypes."

After he'd said his peace, he walked over to Lucifer, kneeling down and sitting him up even as Charlotte was healing him, "You aren't going to be able to pull these out from behind, they'd take his innards out with them." He grimaced, knowing that this was going to hurt, but the arrowheads themselves weren't very large, so it wouldn't do much real damage if he could maneuver them right. Taking his free hand, Azazel pushed the arrows, one by one, through the devil's gut until they were protruding from his abdomen a good deal, and pulled them, gingerly, from there, casting the projectiles aside.

He stood, examining his own wound, or, rather, the tear in his coat that had resulted from it, "You have my thanks for healing him. As I said, it was not my intention to put Lucifer to the sword."

It has been a good while since I've done battle with a demon of his ilk, after all.

But then again, it's been even longer since I've let one live.

Leviathan

Levi watched silently from the edge of the group. A girl played, their teacher sat, appearing to be half-dead, his father had already gotten in a second fight, and this one only lasted a few seconds, Azazel crippling him within the space of a couple seconds. He had to admit, it felt good to see that monster fall the way he had, knowing just how prideful the devil, his father, was.

He's gone soft. But that's what we're for, isn't it? We are the Antichrist, destined to slay God himself. He is nothing more than a folk tale, now.

No, you're the great nemesis. Don't you dare put me in the same category as yourself.

But I can feel it. The pleasure, the satisfaction you're feeling at seeing your enemy brought to a knee. I know you better than you know yourself, boy. Don't forget that.

The son of Satan frowned, casting his thoughts, and that of that monster, aside as he watched the others, Azazel evidently more than happy to aide in helping Lucifer return to his former health. He grimaced. While he wouldn't have minded leaving him crippled, at the very least, this would shatter his pride, and that, at least, they couldn't heal.

Charlotte turned to look at Azazel, nodding silently and trying to hide the fear that shot through her body every time she saw a demon, every time she remembered her first encounter with one of their kind.

That meeting had ended in her being ruined and disgraced, and she had no desire to repeat the events of that fateful day yet another time.

She ignored her other self screaming at her that she should have killed Lucifer, that she should be killing every demon there, and simply stayed where she was, hoping the girl who'd begged for help would listen to her warning.

"...why're you mad?" Mara asked curiously, tugging at Leviathan's shirt. Lux had abandoned their game, and left her looking for other entertainment when she'd spotted the grimacing demon. "You need to cheer up? I can help. I'm good at cheering people up," she said with no humility whatsoever. She saw no need to lie about it; after all, she cheered her mother up all the time, and her mother was so sad so often that that surely meant she was good at it. So she could help. She'd be useful!

Azazel

Azazel's eyes narrowed slightly, it wasn't hard for him to see, almost to smell, the girl's fear, but as curious as he was as to its roots, he could tell that she wouldn't be comfortable answering that particular inquiry, and his assumption was that she had a fear of demons, for whatever reason. There were many of them, after all.

"I'll be off then." Azazel shed his coat, seeing that the bleeding in his arm was leaving a stain that was darkening the crimson of his garment, revealing a skin tight, black and sleeveless undershirt before looking to Hyperion, "You said something about the beach? I have plenty of alcohol, various pills, narcotics, you name it if you're looking for a party."

One hand shifted over to his arm the bleeding having slowed down by now, but nonetheless, his lifeblood still dripped on to the floor from the singular wound he'd sustained during the course of the battle, "Besides, I think we could all use a little get away, don't you?"

Leviathan

The young man started, having not seen the girl coming, and his expression turned to one of curiosity, not having expected someone so young to be present at the school. But he had no choice but to surrender a small smile at her sweet innocence.

Something that I lost so long ago.

"Nothing that you should concern yourself with little one, just something that happened long ago." His eyes, red as the morning sun, met hers, as short as she was, and his smiled widened a bit more.

So you give half-truths, yes? You may be angered as a result of this, but your constant brooding did not stem from this alone.

Kneeling down, Leviathan shook his head, "Besides, you're far too young for me to burden you with such problems. I'd not wish such foul thoughts upon your young mind."
