I didn't perform the miracle, are you saying I have literally no berries at all?

People in the northeast: I'm placing a stone outcropping next turn. Is anyone gonna help me harvest it? If not, it's fine, I just need to know so I know where to place it.

My workshop will cost 5/10 stone. I'll then innovate stone tools, which will use up the rest of the stone. I haven't fully decided who gets access to the workshop. Before I said anyone that contributes to its construction gets to use it, but certain people only contributed 2 labor each to this project that costs 85 total labor (if you count faith and divinity), so I'm not sure anymore.

I'll tell you what: if you can innovate and build stone tools, I'll let you use the workshop to build a hoe if you give me the tools right after.

How can I innovate stuff? For all I know, I could decide "Hey! I found some flammable thing that also create pressure! Flamethrower innovation!".

You propose an innovation to G-Tech via telegram and negotiate how much innovation and resources it should cost.

Hmm, flamethrower should take 500 innovation and resources... Okay, I might or might not do it, as I am a lazy arse.

How much food does one follower eat per turn? I thought it was a 1:1, but that's evidently incorrect. :eyebrow:

I honestly don't know, but that's why I harvested 2 bushes. I had 5 followers so I assumed I needed to get 10 food for growth.

Ah, no. So growth is a percentage based thing: any food beyond what you need gives you a chance at growth. When you have double the amount of food you need, that growth chance hits 90%, but anything between one extra food and double still has a chance for population growth.

Eight people need to eat eight food- that's why I was asking why you thought you were wrong. The ratio is one food to one Follower, since that really makes the most sense.

Also, how did I get three new followers last turn, or do we start with six?

You started off with an extra follower and an extra berry bush, to put you up to the average village size of the more established players. Then you got a follower from growth, and successfully recruited that Wanderer.

I didn't realize I started with 6 followers. Whoops. :p

So Walrus, technically you can only log two of the nearby trees, unless Veaos or Ninsar allow you to cut down the trees near them. It should also be noted that since your loggers need to spend all their time cutting down trees, you'll need to send separate followers to carry the timber to a point where we can trade.

But that said, I'd be happy to trade five food for two timber, if that is what you want.

White village southeast of me, village has three berry bushes one or two squares west, v shaped, pointing at forest. Place at top section of v, two berry bushes south and east squares, plains north square, tree west square.

Ah, so the trees aren't directly west. There's a gap first.

I edited my post for day 12. Make sure to reread it, because it is important. And yes, I would trade two wood for 1 wheat. I will bring more wood when the trees that I planted grow. Can I even do that? If so, how many trees did I plant, and how long does it take for one to grow?

Also, I can harvest the stone from the stone outcropping that we still need for the workshop. That way I will have contributed more to it.

I also just got the "Out There" banner.

I suppose you could Innovate how to plant trees. At present though, it isn't part of the mechanics set, so it won't work out.
