Hm, that should all be days. I think some folks have been confused, but my official updates have been in the period of days.

Not quite- you have a three pace zone of "exclusive control" about your hut, which only you may access freely. That's where all your starting resources like berry bushes and fresh water go. In your case it also includes a Wanderer and some wheat patches.

You have a ten pace zone around your hut that you can access, but other people can access too- it's essentially the farthest from known landmarks your people can navigate safely to and from in a day. You can extend that range with Totems.
