Powers / Abilities / Domains / Gear: VERY persuasive, gift of the silver tongue and very minor mind control powers, can appear and disappear at will in a puff of smoke.

Mythical Origin: Self Created/Custom

Personality: Manipulative, devious, self centered, care free.

Name: Phobia. After spending so much time in a world of horrors, it is the only name known to him.

Mythos: Custom.

Powers / Abilities / Domains / Gear:

The entity that merged with him to survive was known by many names: Fear, The Boogeyman, or even the monster hiding under your bed. It was the creature always lurking in the dark, feeding off of your negative emotions.

He rules over Nightmares, Darkness, and even fear itself; he draws his power from the suffering of others, feeding off of their terror until there is nothing left to take.

The powers that he was granted were far beyond his imagination. The limits of his mortal being were lifted. He could move faster, be everywhere. He was stronger, able to induce fear into his enemies, and even make them see things. And the more that he feeds, the stronger he becomes.

Mythical Origin:

He was a missing child, among thousands that the creature took from their homes.

It became greedy, and its lust for power had become insatiable. So, in order to feed its never-ending hunger, it abducted those who feared it the most to feed off of while they struggle to survive within a nightmarish dreamscape. There were countless men, women, children, even infants among all of them. There was no light, and the sounds of what awaited them in the days to follow caused them to lose hope in an instant.

When they realized that they had not been supplied with food or water, they were forced to succumb to their hunger and commit horrific atrocities to stay alive. And in time, they had learned to see without their eyes, to use their other senses to survive. The world had so quickly devolved into chaos, with the strong killing the weak and consuming what they could in order to survive another day.

After years had passed, the entity had realized too late that there were too few surviving prisoners of the realm to sustain it. It was going to starve, and the world would collapse before that could become a reality. It needed a mortal host to give it the strength needed to escape, but the rest would perish as the world crumbled out of existence.

And that is exactly what it did.

When he woke up, he found himself lying in a hospital bed. The sunlight was blinding, and he could hardly remember enough of the language he had once known to understand the doctors and nurses. They kept asking his name, and he couldn't remember. It had been so long since had tried to remember such a thing that it had vanished, along with his childhood. All he remembered was that hellish world.

Then suddenly, something snapped within him. Perhaps the stress of the situation had become too much, or it was something else. But, he jumped from his bed in a heartbeat and tackled one of the nurses. The lights began to flicker as dark wisps of mist snaked from a shadowy fog that had appeared around him, and forced their way into the facial orifices of those in the room. They all collapsed, each having died from shock.

When he pushed himself to his feet, he didn't know what came over him. Sirens could be heard and screaming could be heard elsewhere in the hospital. The interference with the electrical system took many lives, and had caused mass panic.

All he could do now was run.

Personality: He usually tries to keep a positive mood when around others, but doesn't allow them to get too lose. After what he went through, it's a miracle that he even manages to smile. His nights are haunted by memories of the hellish place that he had survived in for years on end, and his powers remind him each day that the creature that caused him so much pain is a part of him. But, aside from that, he's still psychologically human.

Favorite Subject: Survival Skills.

Likes: Light, being outside, having people around, freedom, food(A lot), and excessive training due to a case of paranoia.

Dislikes: Sleep, harming others when it's not necessary, and the thought that he could someday find himself back in his nightmare.

Personally, Sky, I was always a little iffy on Phobia, when you apped him last game, because that's the alternate name for one of my previous characters that died, Ikelos... and I was kinda hoping I could have him back, but I forgot him in my first set of apps.

Personally, Sky, I was always a little iffy on Phobia, when you apped him last game, because that's the alternate name for one of my previous characters that died, Ikelos... and I was kinda hoping I could have him back, but I forgot him in my first set of apps.

Well, actually, Phobia I think is just the Roman or Scientific name for fear. The god is actually Phobos, which is the god of fear with his twin brother Deimos, god of terror. Ikelos is more of a personification of dreaming, meaning he is every nightmare on the planet.

So, I think is should be fine, just realize that if I app for Ikelos, he technically has seniority or whatever in nightmares to Phobia.
