However, before Hyperion could even start looking for a seat, he suddenly found himself face-to-face with a smirking figure. "So, you're Hyperion, huh?" He spoke quickly and loudly, and didn't bother to give his conversant time for what he said to register. The boy quickly looked him over, then gave an amused scoff. "Remarkably less undead than I remember. Anywho..." He grabbed Hyperion's hand and shook it violently. "I'm Lucas Holden - writer, director, minor nuisance; the works. Sorry about the sudden introduction, I'm just a bit excited. It's my first actual day here." He snapped his fingers, and two people sitting in one of the nearby rows disappeared. "Mind if we take a seat? I can't wait to see what this school is like without universe-ending events happening every other week."

As I said: attention is key.

Mason might be able to tell that Charlotte and Mara aren't actually sisters. If he can sense the presence of other Nephalem, then it's entirely possible.


I mean, Mara isn't technically a Nephal, since Charlotte isn't technically an angel, but she's very similar. And Charlotte, well, isn't.



Therefore eliminating the possibility that they could be sisters. I mean, it's possible that they could be half-sisters, but the similarity of their appearance makes that unlikely.



Somehow I feel like the secret isn't going to stay secret for long.
