It didn't kill our powers at first, I don't believe, so it could be something that slowly suppresses and weakens them after a short duration of time.

I believe that the intent was that he wouldn't be in Atlantis in the first place. And let's be honest here, your posts haven't really contributed much to the plot, we've basically been ignoring them because of the fact that your character is using his powers. As such, no, there's really no inconsistency being created here.

There's no real need to wait for Sy here, this is pretty clear cut. And his character would've been here just as long as everyone else's, so he'd still have his powers sapped.

There's also the blade-like bones protruding from his elbows, and the spikes all over his back. He's a killing machine. Lol
