Goldens are goldens though. If you don't like goldens, then you're a terrible human being. They're assumption is "I just met you, so we must be best friends"

Well, I mean, I've seen them, but I generally avoid dogs if possible. Especially large ones. Bad memories.Ranoria wrote:
I think their therapy dogs are trained not to lick people lol, so don't worry about that. XD
But I'm sure you've seen a golden retriever, they're like the second most popular breed of dog. Big, soft, lovable, golden, doesn't ring a bell?

Purebreds are mostly inbred, which has resulted in shorter average lifespans and higher risk of developing various forms of cancer for dogs.
Mutts are usually going to be healthier and live longer.

Yo I'm on a much needed trip to the keys
But still
Post up soon, and of course, how is everybody?
I mean
I'm getting surgery again.
On my spine this time. Didn't say anything before 'cause I wasn't really sure what all was going to happen, but long story short over the past month or so it's been discovered that I have pretty severe scoliosis... Seriously, the X-rays are so freaky.
So they're putting metal rods in my back at some point in November... That'll be fun.

I mean, it's better than the alternative, but of course I'd prefer to not need it at all. ^-^ Either way, I'm pretty okay with the whole situation--the hospital we're having it done in is good, the people we've met so far have all been great and totally know what they're talking about(unlike the first doctor we went to about it, ugh) and, I mean, it's not like I haven't had surgery before...Syrixces wrote:Sky-TheLandOfNekos wrote:Purebreds are mostly inbred, which has resulted in shorter average lifespans and higher risk of developing various forms of cancer for dogs.

While that's usually true, some purebreeds can live healthy, normal lives, if the breed is kept non Alabama cousin marriage style.
I've had both mutts, my current dog, and pure breeds, my last dog. The mutt has been far healthier.Charlia wrote:Well

Well, fuck, Charli. That sucks. Good luck, my friend.
Yeah post up tomorrow.

It is true that I didn't have to stay in the hospital after the other one, but it'll only be for a few days so I shouldn't go too crazy. They have wi-fi anyway. XD

Thanks for saying that. The fact that people care means a lot to me.Syrixces wrote:Charlia wrote:I mean, it's better than the alternative, but of course I'd prefer to not need it at all. ^-^ Either way, I'm pretty okay with the whole situation--the hospital we're having it done in is good, the people we've met so far have all been great and totally know what they're talking about(unlike the first doctor we went to about it, ugh) and, I mean, it's not like I haven't had surgery before...

Well good! It'll be safe, of course. Just sorry you have to go through all of that!
Post up tomorrow?
Not sure. Post might not be up until the four hour car ride back.

Yeah I'm really sorry about that.
I'm stuck here with my folks, who as you all know, are adverse to all things nerdy. I literally can't get five minutes away from them.
Tomorrow is our four hour car ride back, I'll put a post up then. Really sorry guys, this is my fault. Sorry.
Post up tomorrow for sure.

Thanks bud, I'll try to give everyone something to respond to as well so that we can have some activity while waiting for you.
Also, if need be, you could always inform Charli of plot events, she is the co-OP after all. I don't mind waiting as long as we have at all, honestly it makes me happy to see you posted, but if college keeps you too busy, that is a viable alternative.
But I love the stuff about 'Fish Sticks.' He's going down in the Holy High Villains HoF.

Where did you manage to get into?
Edit: I imagine the current interactions with the fish-people with a Futurama-esque art style.
The small details make it seem dumb af, but amusing nonetheless.

It's fine and all, but my excitement for that little plot you and Ran came up with is sort of making it hard to feel anything but impatience. Feel free to! Not everyday someone calls me exceptional.
Even if I am.
Also humble.
Did I mention exceptional and humble?Ranoria wrote:Thanks bud, I'll try to give everyone something to respond to as well so that we can have some activity while waiting for you.

Nah man I'm good from here on out. Back to my regular posting schedule. Also, oblivious Hyp is oblivious haha.Sky-TheLandOfNekos wrote:You best be excited.

Good to hear haha! Yeah he's a little cartoony, but funny.
I'm going to University of Miami on a full ride. Starts this Monday.
Only mildly freaking out.
How is everyone?
So, next post, shit goes down. For real.
Plus, Thanakron arc idea is coming together nicely. We'll be done here soon, what do you guys think of this arc so far?
