Am I an awful person?

Sometimes.

Am I less than honest here?

Well, I was.

Sorry I lied.

Post up tomorrow.

Peace.

Azazel's fighting a big bad guy(dubbed 'Fish Sticks' by Sy) 1-on-1 in order to get the others, and himself, passage through the Ningen lair. The others are trying to cause a distraction to buy him enough time to mortally wound said big bad guy.

I had multiple family members call me a piece of shit among other insults for refusing to pay for things for them.

So, I'm chilling at my friend's wip renovation home a good two hundred miles from my home.

...Sounds like my aunt. She's such a freaking drama queen and can't do anything for herself...

I remember she called our house at 3 AM last Christmas because her husband was drunk and she was sick and needed a ride... She literally had to have a taxi called for her. Because she apparently couldn't do it herself.

And then she whined on Facebook about how horrible her brother was for not coming to get her, at 3 AM in the freaking morning on Christmas, because for some bizarre reason she just couldn't get herself a taxi.

And it wasn't a money issue or anything. She was just being her regular self.

We missed two of her calls a couple of days ago and she started practically crying about how we were obviously seeing it was her and not answering. Because apparently having lives that don't revolve around sitting by the phone waiting for the chance to help her out is a crime.

Basically, I know how you feel. *pats shoulder* Don't let it bother you. It is not your job to take care of family members who ought to be able to take care of themselves. In short, unless they needed life-saving medicine or something REALLY IMPORTANT like that, you've got nothing to feel bad about. You are a person, not a walking dollar sign.

Well

I mean

I'm getting surgery again.

On my spine this time. Didn't say anything before 'cause I wasn't really sure what all was going to happen, but long story short over the past month or so it's been discovered that I have pretty severe scoliosis... Seriously, the X-rays are so freaky.

So they're putting metal rods in my back at some point in November... That'll be fun.

Uhm.

I can't relate, but I do know how bad scoliosis can get.

Best of luck, girly.

I would list my concerns about surgery involving your spine, since it is such an important nerve cluster, but just have faith in the medical professionals and don't let me spook you.

My little sister had this surgery in January for the same reason. I will say this much...well, first of all, don't worry about anything right now, it's not until November. Second, after the surgery, if you feel strange, or your mood changes drastically in the days after the surgery, get to the emergency room as soon as possible. That may be a sign of something severely wrong with your body. Otherwise, from what I've watched as my sister has recovered from surgery, you're gonna be fairly stiff for a while, and you'll definitely need some PT after, but you'll walk much better some time. I'll be sure to pray for you. ^^

Yeah, one of my dad's cousins had the same surgery at the same hospital I'm having it at, and she says the only issue she's had with it is that they couldn't give her an epidural when she had kids, but Asexual Charli is over here going 'yeah okay not a problem.' XD

My biggest problem is that I'm going to be in the hospital for several days recovering and I will have no cats.

Thanks. :)

They have therapy dogs in a bunch of hospitals, like GOLDENS and stuff. Bet you could try and get one to come and visit.
Fan of football, the Murican kind. But soccer is cool too! Just not really my thing. C(:^D/-<
I go by Ran. Unless, of course, you want to type out Ranoria. That's your decision.
