Question: What's Vader's opinion on the Hutts and slavers?

I'm going to start smashing them if I get the troop strength (after other things are resolved). Attaca hates them. Also, Attaca's also going to try to direct more troops and ships from outside his Oversector inwards, especially given his position. Moffs controlling the core regions honestly don't need so many ships after all...

Considering Vader was once a slave, and I recall him belonging to a Hutt...

I'm gonna guess they're not super close.

I remember a comic that showed Vader being subtly disturbed by the families of Separatists being sold into slavery.

Wouldn't declaring war against the Hutts make them fight a third opponent? One that controls a large portion of the Galaxy. Putting more fronts to bog the Empire down.....

I could imagine the Hutts having the foresight to see their fate coming(Criminal overlords could have this kind of ability...). Leading to them indirectly or indirectly aligning themselves towards opposition to the Empire. But just that's my opinion.

Vader plans to #REMOVE Sidious' men from positions of power one by one and replace them with ultra-competent people from his own ranks, as well as prepare Attaca for the position of Emperor by grooming him and convincing him to take the position "democratically" after Sidious is dead.

So, yes, there is only one Sith Lord left (until Vader gets a proper apprentice), but the Imperial Military becomes run in its entirety the way Vader wants, and thus is ultra-efficient, ultra-meritocratic, and ultra-competent. Within a year or so, Stormtroopers will start having the skills of Vader's shock troops at minimum. Within a few years after that, Stormtroopers will be absolutely lethal on the battlefield, and extremely well organized and prepared to fight Rebel and Separatist-remnant scum (after all, it is indeed happening after the Separatists are destroyed probably).

Meanwhile, Attaca is free to run the Empire in a way he sees fit as long as he doesn't turn it back into a Republic-esque government, and as long as he answers to Vader on some manners; making Vader the de facto ruler of the Empire, with Attaca (again) being just a puppet.

When/If the CIS collapses, you may find most of the remaining individuals attempt to join the Rebellion(Maybe trying to bribe themselves in with donations of remaining Battle Droids/warships to the Rebels). Swelling the Rebellion's already growing ranks.

I wonder if my droid would be able to join the Rebellion after a quick spout as a freelance agent.

Also, after killing his master, Vader would most likely take one of the inquisitors as his apprentice.

An Imperial-II Star Destroyer can still be called an Imperial Star Destroyer. If you wanted to get technical, you put the -I/-II there. Same with the Venators. I know your dick ships are the big ones.
