I'm going to let Altegonnia handle this app, however I want to state that this will be denied by me. We are only using canon force powers. No Force corruption, illusion, or battle meditation.

Noted, I'll get rid of those.

Edited to change the Force abilities.

Name: Aidan Dooku
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Allegiance paid to: Confederacy of Independent Systems
Rank: General; Count of Serenno
Appearance:
Image

Personality: In many ways, the young Count of Serenno is like the one that came before him. Cunning. Manipulative. Charismatic. However, there are many things that set them apart as well. Unlike his predecessor, Aidan truly believes in the rhetoric expressed by the Confederacy and its supporters. In addition, whereas the previous Count Dooku was very calm and cool-headed, the current Count is much more passsionate, and at times, can act without thinking.
Force Sensitive: Yes
Skills/Powers:
  • Expertise in lightsaber combat, especially in forms II, IV, and VII.
  • The various natural abilities resulting from his Zeltron blood, including the manipulation of others via pheromones, minor telepathy, and having two livers.
  • Various abilities involving use of the Force, including the core Force powers, mind control, Force choke, Force lightning, and telekinesis.
Weaponry: Dual Lightsabers; Blaster Pistol
Ship: The Providence Class Carrier/Destroyer Tyranus and the Frigate Serenno.
Biography: Many across the galaxy have heard of the great Count Dooku. To some, he is, or rather was, a great man, an inspirational leader, a freethinker, and a patriot. To others, he was downright villainous, a traitor to both the Republic and the Jedi Order, and the manifestation of evil in physical form. This, however, is not the story of that particular Count Dooku. Rather, it is the story of his successor, also called Count Dooku. The story of His Grace, Aidan Dooku, Count of Serenno begins thirty-five years before the Battle of Yavin, far from the planet he would soon rule. Born to a cousin of the infamous Count that came before him, Aidan's mother, rather than being a noblewoman from Serenno, was in fact a courtesan from Zeltros; his father, a merchant rather than a politician, spent much of his time on the planet, even owning a villa there where Aidan was born. The young Aidan lived with his mother on Zeltros for the first seven years of his life, very rarely seeing his father, who cared little for him. This was not something Aidan was particularly upset about; he and his mother were permitted to live in the villa, and were very happy together.

At the age of seven, however, Aidan's father brought the boy and his mother back to Serenno, intending to use his son and his wealth to gain more influence, and rise within the House of Dooku to become the current Count's successor. While few people, including the Count, supported Aidan's father for the position, Aidan himself was noted as a possible choice to succeed the aging Dooku; even as a child, Aidan regularly proved himself to be as intelligent as the Count, and the discovery that the boy was force sensitive (something only known to the Count and to Aidan's mother) all but ensured that he would be chosen as heir. In addition, the Count, secretly the Sith Lord Darth Tyranus, took Aidan under his wing as a student of the dark side of the Force, training him in secret as an apprentice. Under Tyranus, Aidan, enhanced by the natural abilities given by his Zeltron blood, become an expert at lightsaber combat, and the use of the Force to twist the minds of those around him. While Aidan had knowledge of Dooku's other apprentices, he believed himself to be his master's favorite, and strove to make the Sith Lord proud.

When the Clone Wars broke out, Aidan, too young to fight alongside Dooku on the front lines, instead stayed on Serenno to drum up support for the war effort and to ensure that the planet's nobility remained loyal to the Confederacy of Independent Systems and to their Count. During this time, his training would stop for long periods, as the Count was away fighting; when he would return to Serenno, however, it resumed with great intensity. This only ended with Count Dooku's death at the hands of Anakin Skywalker on board the Invisible Hand, at which point, after spending several days in near complete rage, Aidan was crowned Count of Serenno, and decided to no longer hide his abilities. After securing his throne, the new Count Dooku embarked on an intense campaign against the Republic in the Outer Rim, aggressively going after trade and outposts on distant planets. At the head of his fleet, the Count of Serenno seeks to destroy the Empire, seeing it as proof that the Confederates were right about the Republic all along, and to take his master's position as head of the Confederacy.
RP Example: I believe we've RPed before, but I can dig something up if necessary.
Notes: Aidan is the commander of two fleets, both based on Serenno. These are the Serenno Home Fleet, and the CIS Serenno Squadron. Their makeups are as follows:
  • Serenno Home Fleet
    • Frigate Serenno (Flagship)
    • 10 Corvettes
  • CIS Serenno Squadron
    • Modified Providence Class Carrier/Destroyer Tyranus (Flagship)
    • Providence Class Carrier/Destroyers Outer Rim and Confederate
    • 10 Munificent Class Frigates
    • 20 Corvettes

I've read over it all and Valyria's issue with your force powers is my only issue as well. A simple edit to that and you're Approved

Just a captain? I'd say a Victory Class, or an Acclamator.

Ah man, a Victory-class would be so awesome.
I don't know what planet would be in Imperial space and on the edge of CIS and Alliance space, too. If that's...galactigraphically possible.

Not sure where the Empire and Alliance's borders are, but here's the map of CIS and Republic territory: http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/sta ... 0323132926

Note: it's a bit outdated, and many of the planets aren't officially canon.

OP says the Separatists own Outer Rim territories, with the Alliance holding the Mid Rim, and Empire holding Core worlds. The planet I'm trying to protect might end up as some kind of Imperial outpost to make sense.

Any CIS characters that would support Dooku's bid for Head of State, or even Rebel ones? Odds are he'd support a temporary alliance against the Empire.

You're honestly in for a rough time to be Head of State. Due to his age, thus lack of experience many CIS Senators/Members of the Council will probably not vote for him. They're likely to vote for someone like Wat, Poggle, or any of the current Council Members.

There's a chance you could win, if you play dirty I bet.

Hey, Valyria - quick question - when can we expect the IC?

Not trying to rush you or anything, just curious is all.

Name: Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi
Age: 41
Gender: Male
Allegiance paid to: The Jedi Remnants, The Alliance to Restore the Republic
Rank (if it applies): Jedi Master, Jedi Council Member
Appearance (Picture appreciated):
Image

Personality: Often seen wise beyond his years, his humble and soft-spoken demeanor belied his warrior prowess. Despite his numerous complaints during flight, he is also a skilled pilot. In many ways, he represented the strength of the old Jedi Order: steadfast, selfless, and modest. His later skill at resolving disputes without a single battle would earn him the sobriquet "The Negotiator", at least in the eyes of General Grievous. Obi-Wan often thimks out plans and strategies rather than leaping into action. He would usually place his hand on his chin or stroke his beard as he thought. This was a common trait of the Jedi Master, one that his apprentice Anakin Skywalker did not practice very often. He sometimes mentally repeats the Jedi Code to calm himself.
Force Sensitive: Yes
Skills/Powers: A master with a Lightsaber, focuses on Form III. Though Kenobi focuses largely on lightsaber combat, he is also very skilled and powerful in use of the Force. He was trained in the use of the mind trick, making use of it whenever he wanted to avoid any physical confrontation. He was also able to use the Force to tame, control, and lead a group of angry gutkurrs on Ryloth. As befitted a Jedi, Kenobi was adept at concealing his feelings in the Force when he chose to. Skilled in hand to hand combat, and a great military strategist
Weaponry (If any):
Image

Ship (If any): His Jedi Interceptor, Tantive IV
Biography (At least a well written Paragraph please): Born on the planet Stewjon, Kenobi was taken as the Padawan learner of Qui-Gon Jinn. During the Invasion of Naboo, Kenobi became the first Jedi in a millennium to defeat a Sith Lord when he defeated Darth Maul during the Battle of Naboo, but in that battle, Maul mortally wounded Jinn. At Jinn's behest, Kenobi took Anakin Skywalker to be his own Padawan, training him during the decade leading up to the Clone Wars.
During the Clone Wars, Skywalker was made a Jedi Knight, and Kenobi and Skywalker fought alongside each other as generals many times.

In the last days of the Clone Wars, Skywalker turned to the dark side, betraying the Jedi. Skywalker's new Sith Master, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, used Order 66 to destroy the Jedi Order, though Kenobi survived and reunited with another survivor, Yoda.
Following their regrouping they knew they had to gather the Jedi, after discovering the truth at the Jedi Temple Obi-Wan informed Padme on what his husband had done. Following her confrontation with Anakin she fled, joining with Obi-Wan and Yoda. Padme knew that the time for rebellion had come, democracy needed to be saved.

Obi-Wan saw to securing any lost Jedi that had survived Order 66. Following Padme's pregnancy he has placed in charge of overseeing Luke's training, so as he does not follow in the steps of his father. Now, after three years the Jedi Remnants have established Tantive IV as their new mobile headquarters. With the Rebel Alliance finally secured to attack the Empire, they now look to the Jedi Remnants for help. With Obi-Wan leading the Jedi into battle, it is up to Obi-Wan to see to it that the Empire is destroyed. He knows that one day, he will have to confront his old padawan, and dreads for when that day comes.
RP Example:
Notes: Luke Skywalker, Yoda (if no one apps for him), Captain Antilles

Would my character protecting an Imperial outpost in Alliance space be kosher? If so, what planet would that be?

Here's a list of Imperial Planets you could use; Jakku, Ord Mantell, Jeha, Scarif, Tatooine. There's map in the OP.

If you want you could also just do a listening post, possibly on a moon or a space station.

Tatooine would be interesting... the Confederate fleet at Geonosis is right next door.

Now that I think of it, just RPing from the perspective of my character seems a bit limiting. Is it alright if I use a number of lower ranked people (an advisor and maybe a few commanders) to represent actions later on?
