Fully functioning cybernetics are possible, but they are very expensive and as such aren't seen often, especially ones that you could easily mistake for the real things.

Other than that, just slightly more advanced than what you can find today.

Slightly...OK, OK. I have an idea, then.

How prevalent is terrorism / bombings? Is gangrene biologically an issue with middle-class persons?

I'm just trying to get a picture of how chaotic a city would be, especially at the lower to middle levels of society. Sorry on the questions.

By the way, might...might change some portions of the app. Just in stylistic choices. I do hope that's ok.

1) Not very. The Overlords and Overladies along with the other Sky Ring nobility generally have a very tight lock down on their respected cities.

2)DS Citizens don't have it bad, DS Citizens live more or less like the average middle class person in a modern first world country. Now, in the Underdome, there could be an issue in some places.

As long as the parts of the app remain unchanged.

Bueno, bueno, bueno...I wonder...perhaps my gal could be a former UD, now DS? Would that happen?

I see. So it's damn hard, then. Hmm...

Idea. Athletics. A coach, for say, running, would want to hire the best and cheapest athletes. A UD citizen would take lesser pay than a DS citizen, in theory, asking for only a DS apartment and some pay.

Ja? Bueno or no?

They would still be a UD Citizen then. And not allowed to live in a DS apartment

No? The coach wouldn't want to protect his team (At least from the smog)?

Huh. Bollocks. Well, science-y stuff, then. Mayhaps that.

EDIT: That or I just deal with being UD.

Ok, cool. I was just a little worked because no one replied to my third attempt to make a decent character app, and I was beginning to think it was some form of silent protest to my presence.

His Opening ability would be badass during close quarters but he would have to learn to be skilled in hand to hand combat to get close to his opponents.

Also Oliver according to app, seems like an incredibly regular guy who ''wants to live in peace''. Does he possess the mental strength to actually hurt someone lol. Then you have my character enjoys his job as a killer. Complete opposites as people tbh, how will they even meet lol

Well, to answer your last argument, I have one thing.

I said in the app that he wouldn't mind if 'something happened' in his life, and now something has indeed happened. He met Arch angel and probably either killed or incapacitated a secret police officer just a few minutes ago in IC time.

It's not the killing part of it that puts him off, it's the law that comes afterwards.
Much like what is personally keeping me from killing anyone and everyone in my immediate vicinity as well.

Well at this point you should just bump your app to here for a more recent overlook.

But honestly, you should really look at how people write in the IC.
I'm sure it would help.

Alright, thanks. And don't worry, I've been looking over the IC for a while now, in a foolish attempt to catch up. I'm hoping I've figured it out by this point.

Character App
Name: Jeremy Lindall
Age: 20
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Short Bio: Jeremy is a twenty year old DS citizen, who lives alone in a small, fairly low quality apartment in Suphia. He lived a fairly average life, with the two exceptions being the death of his parents in an vehicular accident at the age of seven, which led to him being sent to an orphanage, and the discovery of his powers, when he accidentally inhaled a scorpion at the age of ten, only to wake up that night having unconsciously grown chitin plating along his forearm. For the next ten years, he experimented with his abilities in secret, finding ways to eat the meat of new, interesting animals so he can try replicating them. Eventually, once he was old enough to leave the orphanage, he decided to stick around as a helper. This has been the routine for the past two years.

However, at one point at the age of nineteen, he was cornered by two less than scrupulous (and sober) inhabitants of the city, and in the ensuing fight, he found himself biting a chunk out of one of them in desperation. Apparently, this man had a form of flame power, as he was able to replicate it to devastating effect. However, it was at this point that he learned of the massive damage replicating other people's powers did to his body, and he was hospitalised for two months, two weeks of which were spent in a coma.
Appearance:
https://2ch.hk/b/arch/2016-07-26/src/132668229/14695457012990.jpg

Power(s):
http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Dige ... peshifting
http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Dige ... similation
Cannot replicate mental aspects such as learned knowledge of memories. Replication of animal body parts burns calories at an extremely fast rate, requiring him to eat far more and rest far longer than a normal human in order to stay even somewhat healthy. Replicating other people's superpowers causes massive damage to his body. I should also mention, because I'm not sure if it would be obvious or not, but this power allows him to eat and digest pretty much anything. Sure, if its hard or sharp and stuff, it'll still mess up his teeth and throat when it goes down, but poison has no effect on him, as long as he ingests it.

Stuff that you may own that may or may not be illegal:
Probably nothing, unless multiple books on biology and the not-yet-consumed flesh of several, rare and dangerous species of animals counts as illegal.

Occupation: Orphanage worker, self proclaimed professional asshole
Class: DS citizen.
Personality: Jeremy is generally a lazy asshole, or at least that's how he describes himself. Most people don't actually think he's TOO bad, but he will quickly put in an uncharacteristic amount of effort into convincing them that they're wrong. However, they will readily believe him on his extreme laziness, of which only part is due to the side effects of his powers. In the end, it seems like the only things that can actually make him get off his ass and do something is when it's for the kids in the orphanage, or when he's pissed off. He also watches more anime than is physically healthy, and likes cooking, which may be his only constructive skill.

Likes: Children, animals, exotic animal meats, anime.
Dislikes: Assholes, people who treat kids badly, people who interrupt his sleep.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Theme Song:
Temen Oblak (Christopher Tin)
Burst Dream (Masaaki Endoh)
I can't remember any of the specific names, so the entire soundtrack of Gintama. Yes, all of it!

RP Sample:

Joseph Moore
Lindalton Knight Garage

Joseph watched from the entrance of the garage, as smoke rose from somewhere just beyond the nearby mountain ranges.

"Hey Salem, can you tell where that smoke might be coming from?"

"Judging from the information in the maps you've uploaded to me, it appears to be coming from New Venice." An electronic female voice said.

"New Venice, huh? That's pretty close." He said, rubbing his stubbly chin in thought. "I guess the UEC must finally be making a move for it... Salem, how long would it take us to get there?"

"At maximum speed, ETA is roughly half an hour, sir."

"I see..."

As he spoke, he noticed streaks of light falling from the sky, and frowned.

"Those must be knights dropping in from orbit... Or bombs." He added.

He continued to stand in place for a few more moments, trapped in thought, before nodding and turning back to the knight in the garage.

"Alright, lets get a weapon configured to one of your arms, and then we'll move out."

"Yes sir." Salem said, briefly lowering its mounted machine gun in a gesture he had come to realise as a 'nod'.

As he began to attach and calibrate the weapons, his eyes couldn't help but repeatedly drift down to the still unpainted side of the knight, knowing that the lack of an identifying insignia or emblem would only arouse suspicion from both factions.

He sighed.

"We're totally gonna get in a fight today, aren't we?"

Did you read the Rulez? Yep.
What about Rule 3? Yes. It wasn't in the list, but yes.

Ok, I'm still not entirely sure if that's good enough for the RP sample, because everyone I tried to look at for an example seemed to already know you, allowing them to essentially skip it. Just let me know if its still not enough, or if there are any problems with it. Also I edited it a bit, so now he's chaotic neutral, and he inhaled a scorpion instead of a praying mantis.

Character App
Name: Liana Cross
Age: 28
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Short Bio: Born in the lower portions of society, in the Under Dome, Liana’s early life was not the best, to state the least. Her father was a cop on a beat, and he always seemed to be on that beat. He’d come home beat, late at night, eat beaten, cough, and sleep, before going on that beat again. Never did seem to slow, though the house didn’t seem to show it. A little apartment that always seemed crowded, and the air always heavy, the work put into it didn’t seem to show on the outside. Her mother was a nurse at a little hospital, minus the actual nursing license, though she seemed, in Liana’s young eyes, to be the very fountain of knowledge. If you asked a question, it was answered.

Yet, she didn’t seem to have much time to ask questions. Her mother was always at work, her father always on a beat, and the apartment’s air conditioning was always warm. It never did seem to get cold, then. Liana would take walks, the street at least providing some measure of movement. Yet then some disaster struck, one which she didn’t understand at the time yet understood later; the manager raised the rent. It was just a few dozen credits, he said, just to raise a water bill. Just to balance some books. Just to make some repairs. Just, just, just. It was a few dozen credits they didn’t have, and well...well, they didn’t want to be on the street. Her dad would be killed, her mother raped, and Liana...no-one told Liana what would happen, yet she still had a good idea. It wasn’t good, that was for sure.

Her dad asked around the police station, yet they all had their own issues. Joe was paying child support, Dave had a bookie, Diana had her little drug habit that made the break room smell sweeter than what a forest would smell like, no-one had the extra cash that could be given. Liana’s dad couldn’t do extra hours without taking a bullet because he wasn’t awake, mom couldn’t do more without falling asleep (Which had already occurred several times) so...a different solution was made. Data transfer systems were depressingly slow and vulnerable systems and Mobs had to move information around fast. Electric vehicles were common, though expensive and vulnerable to the roads. Runners were the solution towards some of the issues, fast people who could get through and not be seen. Liana would get a car, from a junkyard, a little buggy to drive, though she wouldn’t drive often. You had to pay for your own volts, after all.

Liana decided to be one such runner. Her other options were poor, to say the least. Thievery wouldn’t go well at any stage of life, and her fingers weren’t quick and nimble. The others...no. Just no. She lent no thought to it, gave it no credence and no legitimacy. She chose to run, and she was rather suited towards it. She ran and got better at it. Liana learnt the back alleys, learnt the quickest routes, and never stiffed a guy. That’s how she got by, and she made good on her promises. The extra dozen dollars were there.

Yet her life continued until a chance meeting. While running down the street, someone told her to stop. While this might, under normal circumstances, be a rather obvious reason to keep running, Liana did stop. Somehow, it struck her as odd. The man spoke with a Topper accent, through and through, and he stood outside one of the better Under Dome establishments. Specifically, he stood outside of a club, flashing, colored light making it's way through the darkened doorway, and beside the man were two bodyguards. Neither looked friendly, though they seemed a bit overkill considering the man. He was young, to a great degree. Couldn't have been more than fifteen. He beckoned her over, and Liana obeyed. After all, he looked like he'd sick his guards on her if she didn't.

He explained to her that he was the son of a coach. Athletics were important, up above, and one event was running. Just running. Run and run and you'd make money. It sounded like a deal, like her job as is but with the perk of not dealing with the Mobs. Liana was somewhat confused, though, and wary; the man was young, from above, and with bodyguards. What was he doing in the Under Dome? He said for the parties, that if you brought in the good drugs and didn't OD you could party all night long. He said they knew how to lose themselves in a party, though sometimes they got wild. She didn't press for details, though he invited her to a meet and greet, as it were, with the coaches.

Liana went, competed against other UD citizens and against even some DS people. She ran her heart out, threw-up after a race, felt the air to be just a bit too pure, clean, tasty even, and the people to be just a bit too nice. They were hiring her, after all, though Liana still felt odd about it. She met with a trainer, found the son again, and got herself a paying job. Hell, the funds were more than enough to get an apartment closer to the DS-UD passageway. When she told her parents, they were proud, happy that she'd found a way to get just a little bit taller, just a little bit farther.

Yet on a run, from her home to the grocery store, she was hit. They jumped her, though 'they' was a vague term. Liana still doesn't know, but they jumped her. Armed with pieces of rebar, cut metal sharpened-down to crude spears, knives, general cutlery, they told her that she'd pay. The stares they gave were indications that the men didn't mean cash. She tried to run, but before she could get distance one of them stabbed her in the leg. White-hot pain shot through her, though adrenaline kicked-in and she burst into a sprint.

When she got to a doctor, they found out it was infected. The spear was covered in something, the doctors said feces, and the bacteria were already spreading. They amputated it, as she was still under anesthesia, and when she awoke all her little dreams were gone. Running wouldn't happen, not at all, and her life was over. She would go home on crutches, though a face Liana didn't expect would be there.
Image

There was the coach's son, still young and still in his freshly pressed suit. They'd been upper class Topper, she'd found, the top of the middle, and the kid showed it. He told her he was sorry for the loss, yet said that something could be made of it. A half-finished prosthetic leg was there, in his suitcase, lacking only the mold to fit the stump and only the diodes to control it. The son said she could still run, though Liana knew those things were expensive. After all, how could they not? Technology was generally expensive. He told her to not worry, but that he wanted a favor. She, faced with the ending of her career, her life, gave that favor, though she doesn't think on it. Then she ran with a metal leg.

Such a thing didn't keep, however. Liana had gone home, for the holidays, and her parents had gotten a little shelf. They were putting it together, a knife slipped, and Liana's right arm was cut. A major vein had been hit, the blood flowed, and her mother took her to the hospital. They cut that off, too, though the payment for it was far less extreme. Her mother had some pull at the hospital, had seen a set of papers the upper echelons didn't want public, and a few threats later Liana had a new arm, though the hand movements weren't particularly fine. She just keeps the fist closed, as it were.

Appearance: Liana stands at 5'6", at the upper end of height for the malnourished community of the Underdome, though her musculature and body is surprisingly developed for such a background. Liana even has a six pack, for all sakes. Her skin is a darker hue, tanned from hours running, and her brown hair is kept in a ponytail. Liana has brown eyes, as well. However, at that point the normalities end. Her right arm becomes a prosthetic halfway down the upper portion, an older model, and her leg turns into a prosthetic at the upper thigh. They're metal, shiny at the start but showing some rust from the moisture in the Under Dome, though they're still good. In terms of scarring, or physical damage, some damage towards the lungs can be noted. On her left hand Liana has some acid scarring over the back of her hand, along with a cigar burn-mark on her left upper arm. A burn scar can be noted on her collarbone, just to the left of her upper chest. Other than that, she lacks the characteristic marks of an Under Dome citizen,

In terms of clothing, she often wears two sets, or rather kinds, of clothes. The first of these involves a pair of heavy-duty, though patched, cargo pants which have faded to a light gray since their creation. Along with this is a long-sleeved, woolen shirt, over which is often a jacket or some sort to cover-up her arms. Prosthetic limbs sell for good money and she never would want the normal citizen to see. It’d cause issues. Other than that, she wears, while running, a sleeveless shirt and shorts, along with running shoes.

Power(s):
  • Reality Warping - Weak Level. Liana may bend some portions of physics, such as gravitational pull and to what degree it has an effect, though this is to a minimum acceleration of 4 meters per second per second and strains her mentally to a great degree.
  • Materialized Guardian - Has not yet been implemented or discovered by her. This summoned an 8 ft tall automata, or mechanized person. Looking to be encased in metal armor constructed from various junk about it’s location, during it’s summoning it will pull items from the very buildings about it, being constructed of anything from scrap metal to brick and stone. This is done by a gravitational-like force on non-organic items.
  • Banishment - Has not yet been implemented or discovered by her. May banish only the guardian she summons.
Illegal Items:
  • None

Occupation: Athlete (Runner)
Class: UD
Personality: Liana is smart, independent, and determined. Those three words definitely describe her in most forms. She strives to be as independent as she may be, under her situations, but is aware that there are ceilings to what one may achieve in her position. She does not give up easily in any case, as is shown in how she keeps on her goal of being a runner. Law-minded for an Under Dome citizen, she doesn’t like breaking it in any sense.
Likes:

What about Rule 3? Nyet. Hard to read something like that.

Granis, I'm waiting for the opinions of my CO-Ops with your app, not that its bad, I just want their opinion on it before I decide to deny or accept it.

Ormata, I'm going to need more details about the Guardian that she may be able to summon.

My next post will be the time skip.

It looks fine to me, and I had time to actually look it over this time.

Aforementioned evil plans were actually season 4 episode 2 of Sherlock, so no running away was required. XD

Anyone in the Underdome that I didn't get the mystery girl to, just assume that she found your character and told them to come to the Red Crescent at midnight.

Faal, can I change R31C's power to this? Or would it be too OP?

Within limits. He shouldn't be able to become a one man (or machine in this case) army.
