Name: Jeremy Lindall
Age: 20
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Short Bio: Jeremy is a twenty year old DS citizen, who lives alone in a small, fairly low quality apartment in Suphia. He lived a fairly average life, with the two exceptions being the death of his parents in an vehicular accident at the age of seven, which led to him being sent to an orphanage, and the discovery of his powers, when he accidentally inhaled a praying mantis at the age of ten, only to wake up that night having unconsciously grown chitin plating along his forearm. For the next ten years, he experimented with his abilities in secret, finding ways to eat the meat of new, interesting animals so he can try replicating them. Eventually, once he was old enough to leave the orphanage, he decided to stick around as a helper. This has been the routine for the past two years.
However, at one point at the age of nineteen, he was cornered by two less than scrupulous (and sober) inhabitants of the city, and in the ensuing fight, he found himself biting a chunk out of one of them in desperation. Apparently, this man had a form of flame power, as he was able to replicate it to devastating effect. However, it was at this point that he learned of the massive damage replicating other people's powers did to his body, and he was hospitalised for two months, two weeks of which were spent in a coma.
Appearance:
Power(s):
http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Dige ... peshifting
http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Dige ... similation
Cannot replicate mental aspects such as learned knowledge of memories. Replication of animal body parts burns calories at an extremely fast rate, requiring him to eat far more and rest far longer than a normal human in order to stay even somewhat healthy. Replicating other people's superpowers causes massive damage to his body.
Stuff that you may own that may or may not be illegal:
Probably nothing, unless multiple books on biology and the not-yet-consumed flesh of several, rare and dangerous species of animals counts as illegal.
Occupation: Orphanage worker, self proclaimed professional asshole
Class: DS citizen.
Personality: Jeremy is generally a lazy asshole, or at least that's how he describes himself. Most people don't actually think he's TOO bad, but he will quickly put in an uncharacteristic amount of effort into convincing them that they're wrong. However, they will readily believe him on his extreme laziness, of which only part is due to the side effects of his powers. In the end, it seems like the only things that can actually make him get off his ass and do something is when it's for the kids in the orphanage, or when he's pissed off. He also watches more anime than is physically healthy.
Likes: Children, animals, exotic animal meats, anime.
Dislikes: Assholes, people who treat kids badly, people who interrupt his sleep.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Theme Song:
Temen Oblak (Christopher Tin)
Burst Dream (Masaaki Endoh)
RP Sample: "Really, you're going to interrupt my sleep for some stupid bullshit like this? Don't you know that lions need more sleep than normal assholes like you? Oh my god, fine. Look, see? I'm up already."
Walks to fridge and pulls out a ziplock bag filled with meat, labeled 'Narwhal'.
"What? It's not like I'm going to skip breakfast, the most important meal of the day may I remind you, just because you want me to fight some asshole for you. Besides, we still have time..."
Did you read the Rulez? Yep.
What about Rule 3? I legitimately didn't notice that there wasn't a rule 3 until now.
Ok, I'm still not entirely sure if that's good enough for the RP sample, because everyone I tried to look at for an example seemed to already know you, allowing them to essentially skip it. That and, again, this is the first RP I've ever tried to get in to. Just let me know if its still not enough, or if there are any problems with it, and I'll try to fix it again.

Things you should know about Shilo 1) He can not be simply controlled even if someone can take control of the electrical signals in his brain... by doing that you introduce a limiter, which if you notice Shilo's powers, Limiter Removal is one of them. 2) As Sasha told her, Shilo has a lousy sense of humour. 3) Shilo doesn't think before he acts, and when he acts he acts as he pleases... and final 4) Shilo does not like being forced to do things
So basically... Unless Sasha steps in, Shilo's about to bring the beat down on Elizabeth
AND Now Charlotte's crying... Yep, Sasha better step inCharlia wrote:And we have a Berserk Button. GG Elizabeth.

How the heck does that work? Electrical signals is literally how the body functions. How does his body do anything then if it suddenly doesn't have electrical signals to power him?

Because it does. Better that than me telling you to edit and giving you a strike for breaking the No Godmodding rule. Which do you prefer?

Shilo was about to draw until the woman spoke, and then walked back down where she came from. Then she came again. Shilo was obviously unimpressed. Once he saw Sasha, he relaxed slightly and moved his hand away from his gun. He took a few steps over to the leaning woman and then without warning smacked her on the backside of her head forcing her to the ground. She wouldn't be hurt, much.
"You're rude, and lucky I didn't shoot you." He said and then turned Sasha, his face blank like normal, "So you need a jacket... First, why don't you settle your families little rivalry with the godforsaken Leprechauns? I'm sick of chasing them out and saving godforsaken Rus ass."

You struck my character to the ground without giving me a chance to react. How is what you did any different? We literally did the same thing, Shilo with his hand, Elizabeth with her powers.

Your Honor, "Because it does" shouldn't be a valid answer in this case. Anyway, Dough is right. If the body's nervous system stops working altogether, the person is dead. Now you could pinch a nerve and make part of the character go numb, or something.

*ahem* There. Now, let's get down to business.
Rule number 7. Remember that rule? It's a good rule. Obey the rule. Doughboy, you're being pretty good about it, but Merlin, you're actually toeing the line there.
Rule number 8. Neither of you are obeying that rule! Isn't that lovely? Knock it off or I'll give you both strikes! Yes, Merlin, I will give you a strike too, even though you're the OP. You made the rules, you follow them.
Do we all understand each other? Good. Now either solve your problems over a civil telegram exchange, or shut up and deal with it.

And Lum, don't get me started on the application of science in fiction of any genre

How is it different? Well, lets see, being knocked to the ground and being able to get up and stuff versus literally having yur entire body taken controlled of and only be able to do three things, breathe, think and speak. One has a slight amount of pain but allows you to remain in control of your ENTIRE self and the other no pain but have control over only THREE things of oneself. Do you see the difference?
You had multiple options for your character to react after, while you just took over my character, had him do a few things and now left me with only two different ways to react. Have Shilo apologize or have him say something rude.
So do you want to edit and take the strike or will you just accept what I suggested that Shilo will do?

Yes, but you're doing so in a manner that is approaching rude. There are better ways to put it.
And don't start another argument gosh darn it you people are hopeless.

Controlling people is one of Elizabeth's powers. If breaking free of that control is one of Shilo's, if his body is able to transform to a temporary state where he can send signals to his nerves is a way that is not electrical, then I have to accept it, regardless of how I as a player feel about it.
Do whatever you want. Give me a strike, have Shilo attack her, hell break her hands if that makes sense for his character. I did what you're supposed to in an RP. I played Elizabeth true to her character, and I will not change that. I'll accept whatever consequences you deem fit.
In any case, I'm sorry for the adverse affect I've had on the OOC. Wasn't my intention, but that doesn't change the fact that I still helped cause it.
