Fun fact, the Canadian armed forces played an enormous, and normally-underrated, role in the Battle of Normandy, in WW2.

Hah. I laugh. Just because I'm pulling out my Roman roots doesn't make them Pagan. Though, when Rome was still pagan was when they were at their best. Pagan Rome is best Rome.

And bring it. Canada ain't no puppet. Do you really want to take on the entire Commonwealth of Nations plus allies?

Of course, theoretically thinking, NATO would join the UK because reasons, but they would be at a severe disadvantage because a. US would have mobilized and prepared being the one that's going to attack and b. being the one that has taken the most active role in the war on terror for years, and c. the US has military bases all over the world that it can coordinate attacks out of if it ever did need to do so. And d. if the administration is smart, they would organize a straight AMEC (American Military and Economic Commonwealth) with the nations of Central and South America before attacking Canada.

Using NATO and the default military attack dog of the UN position, the US has accidentally (Or purposefully) put itself in the most effective place for a possible world conquest.

I just said the Commonwealth of Nations plus allies.

Don't read to deep into it. And to be honest, in this day and age, if America did attack Canada with the goal of taking over, it would be frowned upon by the entirety of the Western world, and some other nations would use it as a reason to attack America (Such as Russia and China). And back to NATO, with it being a defensive alliance at its core, with Canada and America both being founding members, the alliance would not be called in. That said, individual countries could be called in to assist. France and the Netherlands for example. France due to the French connection, and the Netherlands due to the fact that, well, Canada provided refugee for the Dutch Royal family during WWII, allowed for a room in an Ottawa hospital to be declared Dutch land so the Dutch princess could be born in Dutch land, providing aid to the Dutch while they were occupied and then liberating them.

Also, an American Invasion would cause NATO (if they decided not to join on Canada's side) and the UN to be more than a little pissed, leading to sanctions and such. Therefore taking down the American economy.

Basically, if it was to happen, all the factors combine together to lead to Canada taking severe losses, and America getting screwed by the majority of the world if not absolutely destroyed.

Yeah, I know. Everyone over looks Canada. Especially in the world wars. For example, in WWII. We took Juno Beach on D'Day, Liberated the Netherlands (still get the tulips to this day to prove it), the Battle of Ortona (introduction of mouse-holing, and really changed urban warfare forever).

In WWI, Vimy Ridge (First purely Canadian operation, succeeded where everyone failed).

Then we also had some badasses... Most badass would be in WWII, one Leo Major singlehandedly liberated the city of Zwolle in the Netherlands over the course of one night

And today, the JTF 2, Canada's top special forces are the only foreign special ops group that is allowed to train with the Navy SEALS.

Basically, Canada has and always will be one of the few unknown badass countries.

Also, funny story. With my first reply today, I had it open in a separate tab, with another tab still on the P2TM board, where the last registered post was Merlin's. Then I went to eat breakfast. I came back and saw that the last registered post was Merlin's, and I'd read it, and I was like 'WHAT?! Did I just imagine replying? But I was so sure that I did, I remember it perfectly... How could it not have been real?'

Then I remembered the other tab, and all was right with the universe again... but I was pretty freaked out for a moment there.

... She can come in and kill steal from Sasha right now, if you want. He called for back-up earlier, so if she's anything like an obsessive worrying girlfriend, she might have bugged his phone or was near the guy who got the call or heard through the grapevine somehow. Or she can show up with the back-up after I kill the robot.
