Hey, Doc reporting in. I'm not dead, it's just spring break and I'm enjoying the company of friends and family I don't get to see often. As such, I'm away from my computer and thus my activity here wanes. If needed, Free can puppeteer Elizabeth, so long as she doesn't do anything out of character.

Noticed the secret police lady, also noticed that she's immune to Elizabeth's control. *sigh* Why are all the bosses immune to my control? It's like they're trying to make it difficult or something… That being said, she might be useful in the future, assuming the arc get's underway.

Also, I've been listening to songs about dangerous/crazy chicks in an attempt to find a good theme for Elizabeth. What I found was a theme for Mari. Enjoy Charli.

You know, it might seem like it's unfortunate that Luna forgets things so easily, but she's actually better off that way.

I mean, can you imagine what eternity would be like if you remembered everything? After all, if you've got immortality, you'd use it to do what you couldn't do in one lifetime, right? Better yourself, learn everything you can, heck, maybe even try to take over the world if you feel like it. But what happens when you've done all that? When you are the foremost expert on literally everything, when you speak every language fluently, when there's nothing left to do and you still have the rest of eternity ahead of you?

You could have lived for millennia upon millennia but it wouldn't even be a millionth of a percent of your lifetime. Because it would never end. Ever. If you were truly immortal, the rest of the universe could burn around you and you would still be there. Floating in an enormous sea of nothing.

Really, Luna got lucky. I imagine that if she didn't forget things, she'd be far more insane than she is now. Because that up there? That's not even nightmare fuel.

On an unrelated note, remember when I said I'd try to make my character the Kamina/Kato of the series? Lets just go ahead and add Hughes to that list as well.

Welp, I realised whilst trying to write my intro post that the nature of my character is really difficult to stick into the events of the roleplay. I just wanted to make a few changes in bullet-point form below. All powers and voodoo judoo stay the same. (He's still an accountant, I might add to the backstory of his parents but it doesn't/shouldn't really matter.)

- Went from being dispassionate and passive (characterised by a fervour that craves stability and security) to possessing a dangerous case of biastophilia whilst being afraid of repercussions (despite having a conscience, wants to be animalistic and...

- Instead of having a familiar that tries to distract assailants while Carkins gets away, familiar provides a roundabout way to assault others whilst leaving no evidence.

Just add constant struggle with the embodiment of primal order and nothingness itself, watching all those you ever cared for die in front of you and you have pretty much summed up Merlin's struggles
