The Man who became King

It began, not with a gunshot, but with a word, empire, that word shook the minds of everyone in the world as they held their breath, Jimmy Carter had been killed six years ago in 1980. Some say it was on presidential candidate Ronald Regan’s orders, others say it was the soviets, still others murmur of a French- Nigerian plot between an American hotel owner, an old French sniper, and a corrupt Nigerian official. No one knew who did it, because they all had been killed on charges of treason. What kind of treason? The un-American, no good commie treason that had gripped the nation in fear in the late 1910’s to mid 1920’s, the kind of sheer terror that shook it to its core in the 50’s, and now that had come back to haunt the nation once more, in the early 80’s.
The American four star general was now in command of the nation; General William Vessy Jr. wanted to show his father that he could do something, and he did it, he ruled the nation under his iron grip for a full 87 days until the nation was “Liberated” not by the western powers, but by a small, but well equipped and trained group of North American rebels known as the Royal Regean Revolutionary league, or RRRL, they seized control of the nation, marching into town after town to crowds people as they cheered on their “liberators”.
General Vessy had increasingly lost touch with reality, withdrawing to a bunker in his home town of Minneapolis, he had fled three days before, leaving a power vacuum that was quickly taken advantage of by Regean, he put to death and imprisoned thousands of members of the short lived Vessy regime, he titled the war himself, the grand liberation war of the nation against the tyrannous dictatorship of the false general, rolls off the tongue, don’t it?
The year was now 1981, and he began to conduct sweeping changes, he outlawed elections at first, but brought them back a month later under one single political party, the American Unification Front (AUF) along with various smaller parties that had a chance to sit in the damaged congressional building.
Throughout the late winter and early spring of 1981, growing discontent grew, with the reemergence of various Dixiecrat parties, such as the Confederate Liberation Party, which was first underground, then after the succession movement that began in early March of 1981, several prominent Dixie politicians gathered in Mobile, Alabama first to sign their constitution, and the Confederate States of America was born once more, Georgia, Arizona, New Mexico, Mississippi, Arkansas,Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Texas, and Oklahoma all left the union in short time.
A month later, Reagan now had his chance to eradicate the south once more; he declared war swiftly and began to mobilize the vast war machine of the empire. The initial invasion went well, with Memphis falling into the hands of the empire within two weeks the forces under Lt. General Hal Moore, the confederates then began to encircle and cut them off in late May, however, and lt. Moore was forced to withdraw, of his 200,000 men and 300 tanks, only a tenth of that number of hungry, ill equipped troops managed to make it back to imperial friendly territory.
When Reagan heard of this defeat, he executed him for incompetence and forced the surviving members into Reagan's finest jelly bean factories, making licorice jelly beans across the nation in horrific conditions. He began operation Leapstar, a massive bombing campaign of several strategic southern cities, factories and the capital, carried out by hundreds of bombers from May to October of 1981, the south refused to surrender, and the bombing campaign continued. In mid June of 1982, Reagan began Operation Licorice, in which a massive offensive took place all along the front. There was no order to the offensive, and many of the generals put in charge were just there because of their loyalty to their emperor, and not by military experience, with this, the predictable outcome happened. The offensive stalled and was called off a year later, with over two to three million soldiers on both sides dying. In mid July of 1984, he sent ambassadors to Richmond to see if they would like peace, they were, after several hours turned into several days, then weeks, then almost nine months of negotiations throughout 1985, the Treaty of New York was signed on August 4th,1986, which made the fighting stop, have both sides exchange 150,000 total prisoners of war, and set up a boarder with the nation of the Confederacy, and made the American Empire recognized the confederacy. Reagan got so frustrated, that he withdrew all of his nuclear weapons from Western Europe, which would have dire consequences…
The Soviet Bear awakens
By this time, the Soviet Union was preparing a massive operation, Intel from the east’s network of spies and sabotagers gave their leaders the impression that America was collapsing, and it was time to spread the ideas of Lenin and Stalin once more over the peoples of Europe. Soon, over 15 million troops in 5 armies, all lead by one man, Generalissimus of the Soviet Union Sergey Akhromeyev, on June 22nd, 1982 the troops flooded into western Europe, the combined allied armies gathered, and after a three day battle, the soviets broke the back of their capitalist foes, which withdrew in droves across the Atlantic Ocean to the Canadian nation of Canadian candaness, or simply, Canada. The Spanish forces fled into Mexico, where the republic of New Spain was established, the Norwegians fled to the Minnesotan area and Newfoundland.
This gave North Korea’s leader, the dying Kim Il Sung, the idea to strike at the western capitalist scum once and for all, at 2 in the morning of July 27th, 1982, the 32 year anniversary of the north’s invasion of the south, thousands of troops poured across the border, after suffering heavy losses, the south Korean republic surrendered, without the United State’s help the peninsula was united once more under the ideas forged by the sickle and hammer.
This did not sit well with the Japanese, who after a failing economy brought on by the coup d’état, the withdrawal of the western nation, some of japans’ biggest training partners, looked to its warlike past for help, the Japanese tore up their constitution and rewrote it, declaring the 2nd Japanese Empire in 1981. Japan acted quickly in the community’s eyes to “save Korea from the dictatorial and oppressive regime in the north” in April of 1982, the island nation invaded the Korean peninsula, swiftly taking over the southern half of the nation within four long hard months of fierce fighting.
In May of the same year, top Japanese and Chinese diplomats met in small Vietnamese style noodle huts, the discussions of these talks became apparent days later, with the Manila accords signed on the 12th. Under it, the PRC agreed to let Japan take Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Papa New Guinea and Indonesia, in return the Japanese would not condemn them in the united nations when their plans for expansion into Afghanistan, Nepal, and India.
The Lion
Meanwhile, the remnant pro royalist government was forced to flee to Canada, where Winston Churchill’s son, Winston Spencer-Churchill took over and reformed the Commonwealth of the British Union, they sent notices to the former imperial holdings in offers of joining the Union for a duty to the nation, and the eventual liberation of the British isles from the communist puppet government of the USSR. Australia and New Zeeland swiftly joined, India was a bit tempted, but refused to join for a time.
The former Indian president Giani Zail Singh was secretly assassinated on the orders of Churchill in mid may of 1982 and replaced by Veerganmangi Rasahaman Nassinjershun of the newly created Unity of the Crown party, they swiftly joined the commonwealth once more after a purge of pro Indian nationalistic leaders deemed “communists”.
With India’s apparent takeover, Gibraltar, Malaysia, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, South Africa all swiftly rallied to the new commonwealth’s banner after the fear of falling to communism made their leaders realize the only way they would be able to keep power is if they had other nations help them. The Commonwealth now meets in Canada for the most important of high level meetings, discussing various things such as how to deal with the insane Ronald Reagan.
Meanwhile, in the Middle East, with the apparent collapse of the United States, the nations of Iran and Iraq went to war with one another, resulting in a stalemate all along the front, in 1983, after three years of war, the two sides decided to have a very complicated Union of Iranraqistan, the union was one of necessity, as the previous year Saudi Arabia invaded Jordan and Yemen and declared the empire of the Arabs, now a majority shia country would face off against a majority Sunni country. Granted, without British pressure, the union would not have formed as a counter to that, but as an additional source of Oil for the nations via the Persian gulf.
In Central and South America, with the apparent takeover of Mexico by the exiled Spanish government, the nations there began to fear if they were next, and that the colonialism would be coming to them sooner than expected. With fear, came great leadership and idiotic voters too scared to look to anyone else, Pedero Pinocasa won the first elections of the Union of South Africa, which comprised only of Brazil, Uruguay and Columbia, expanded to all south African nations by 1986. With the cutoff of Oil by an embargo placed on it by the powerful communist bloc, the nation’s people were beginning to starve, and starvation makes great motivators for revolution, and the revolution came in 1989, several of the republics in the south fell swiftly, though others are still struggling to survive, with only the original members remaining.
In Africa, the Algerian Leader was overthrown by the French republican empire in exile’s forces that fled across the Mediterranean, they then swiftly overran Morocco and Tunisia, along with Niger, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and Mali. Elsewhere in other French speaking or sympathetic states, the president of Hati, Jean-Claude Duvalier was overthrown in a coup by the national Repibliken Konsèy nan moun yo nan Hati ak etablisman an militè ( Republican Council of the People of Hati and the Military Establishment) (RCH).
The World is now ablaze in the struggles of many great nations.

HISTORY
Brief History of Nation: formed in the wake of the chaos caused by General William Vessy Jr’s takeover of the government, the Californian governor Ronald Reagan began to take a more authoritarian push when dealing with other people and nations, resulting in the banning of several embassies of the former allies turned communist nations when the Americans pulled their nukes from the nation. The decision, while hard, made the consolidation of Reagan’s power all the more effective. A purge was swept through the ranks, the jellybean loving man himself handpicking cronies to run the states while he is away on business and gives them large “donations” in the form of millions of Reagan bucks.; congress was disbanded and replaced with a 300 member Committee of the King, which became a rubber stamp congress dominated by the Empire of the People Party. (EPP). Emperor Reagan makes all decisions and has a queen, Nancy Reagan, that rules alongside him.
