Bio: Born in the city of Lovisk to well-off parents, Akeksi Kuznetsov did not have to struggle with poverty, nor did he interact much with children from poorer families. He received quality education at Lovisk Academy and graduated with honors. He entered the workforce at a higher level than most other young workers, immediately taking the role of assistant manager in a government-run factory. At age 28, he won a management position in the Ministry of Admission through the March 1965 Labor Lottery. From here, he worked diligently, to the extent that his superiors considered firing his fellow managers for comparative delinquency. Instead, the Ministry of Admission granted him a junior administrative position in the district of Burnton. When the Grestin Border Checkpoint began construction, he was reassigned to serve as assistant divisional authority in East Grestin. However, upon the mysterious disappearance of his senior official, he became Divisional Authority himself. He now serves as the chief administrative official in East Grestin over all immigration operations. Under his leadership, the Grestin Border Checkpoint will reopen on January 1, 1983.

Personality: Naive, blindly loyal, and young, Andreyushkin is the least capable person to be seating where he is. And frankly he knows this, but despite his apprehension he knows that his duty to both his country and his family hinges on his performance as a MOA Inspector.
Bio: Born in the summer of 1962 as the youngest member to a family of five, Andreyushkin grew up around Artstotzkan propaganda, and war stories from his grandfather, and a sense of duty from his enlisted older brothers. His mind was filled with a sense of undying loyalty to the nation he was born to. He was always the child that ran to the police when something was wrong, either a school mate with contraband, or a weapons trade and seditious sayings in his dwelling block. In his own eyes, he was always an upstanding citizen. His education was always on point as well, exceeding in mathematics and their related subjects.

After graduating, he had a hard time finding a small job to take his time, so he entered his name into the labor lottery. He expected something small like a desk clerk, or a simple facility guard. Oh no, the universe had to silmutaneously throw him into babushka's stew, and smack him with one of the most important jobs in Arstotzka: Arstotzkan Ministry of Admission, West Grestin Border Checkpoint Inspector.

To say he is not very ready would be a mass understatement of the highest caliber. But the law is the law. And he is prepared to do what he must for his nation.

He spent much of his childhood learning the social aspects of life, and basic diplomatic interactions, and then shifted to historical and military strategy learning in his teens, along with advanced diplomacy and slowly being taught the various day-to-day operations of the Duchy. When his father and mother were assassinated on June 2nd, 1974, by Obris spies, Richard was thrust into leadership and Grand Fenwick was plunged into war for over 8 years, for the first time since 1872. The war began with a large and swift Obris offensive, capturing much of southern Grand Fenwick, and then the war was fought to a standstill, until Grand Fenwick launched a massive offensive and recaptured their lost territory and forced a peace treaty from Obristan. Duke Richard led his troops brilliantly and in order to increase loyalty he lived in the trenches with his own troops instead of in the palace. Now there is an uneasy peace between Obristan and Grand Fenwick, who now looks to further relations with Arstotzka and Kolechia. To that end, Richard makes regular trips through the Grestin region to meet with both governments often.

Bio:

Originally hailing from the nation of Republia, in the city of True Glorian, Katarina's family worked for the state newspaper, The Republia Times. Her father, a veteran of the war with Antegria, was a loyal member of the Party. That was, at least, until he was accused of being an Antegrian spy and imprisoned. With their family's provider imprisoned and likely dead, Katarina and her family continued working the Times until her mother's death from Polio. With nowhere else to turn, she became the sole editor of the Times alongside her younger brother and two sisters, both of whom were eventually imprisoned and executed on suspicion of Antegrian espionage. Despite this, she was forced to keep working under threat of execution herself. During this time, she began working with the Democria resistance, feeding subversive materials into the articles.

It didn't take long for the Republian officials to figure out her scheme, and with the authorities on her tail, Katarina took advantage of the Six Years War and fled to Arstotzka. She would eventually earn her citizenship while working in Orvech Vonor, enlisting in the Arstotzkan military near the end of the Six Years War. As the conflict wound down, she was deployed to Kolechia on guard duty. The country was ten times the shithole that her home in Arstotzka had been, and constant raids by Kolechian rebels instilled a hatred of the people in her that still boils to this day. While there, her unit was forced to fire upon a Kolechian mob, and the ensuing conflict forced them to hole up in a nearby building. Her commander would die that night from a sniper's bullet, leaving only her and a few soldiers to fight off the Kolechian rebels. The siege was only broken when one of the men in her unit, a man named Volda, used a bandolier of grenades to destroy a Kolechian tank.

In the time since her deployment and the end of the war, Katarina was moved to the Grestin border checkpoint to provide security. The influx of dirty Kolechian terrorists and drug dealers has proven her post quite necessary in recent months.

I don't see that working out very well. If we change the map like that, then it would severely affect the war between Kolechia and Arstotzka, and may have even resulted in no war at all. Perhaps it could be a country that is not on the canon map?

I'm perfectly okay with it being a nation off the canon map, as I am willing to assume that the canon map does not encompass the whole planet that the game takes place on. Forget my map lol.

Bio:

Rosa Alessandra was born in 1960 to her parents Nikita and Katarina. They were a simple farming family on the border between Impor and Kolechia. She went to primary school but was expelled in her final year there for nearly killing a boy with her bare hands for insulting her mother. She was ten years old.
By the time she was allowed to return to school, famine had struck and Rosa's parents kept her home. At the age of sixteen, Rosa met Joseph Gioia, a native Kolechian, while traveling across the border to sell the year's meager crop. During their stay, Rosa and her father's passports were lost, and they were unable to return home for the next few months. During that winter, Rosa came to know Joseph closely. His parents were menial workers in a local arms factory, and he was a soldier stationed on the border. Over those months, Rosa came to love Joseph. Nikita and Katarina never knew about the affair.
In February of 1976, Joseph admitted to Rosa that he'd stolen her and Nikita's passports to get her to stay. After returning them, Rosa showed her father, who pressed charges against Joseph for theft. Joseph was found not guilty, thanks to Rosa's testimony in his favor. She and her father returned home in March. It is unknown what transpired with Joseph for the next few years.
At the beginning of the War a few months later, local communities across the border with Kolechia seized the Alessandra farm and impressed Nikita into their military, using a shoddy territorial record to claim the land as part of Kolechia, and Nikita as a Kolechian citizen.
Rosa attempted to enlist herself in the Kolechian military to have a chance of finding her father. She was rejected for being a woman, and for the next four months she and her mother remained on their property. Eventually, Rosa returned, forging her paperwork to be listed as male, and she was accepted. On November 2, 1976, she engaged in combat for the first time.
Over the next five years, Rosa engaged in combat a total of 127 times. She contributed to the killing of 50 individuals, and herself killed 97. She repeatedly requested to know the whereabouts of her father, and was ignored every time, save one. On October 5, 1981, Rosa was informed that her father had been killed for desertion by firing squad. Unbeknownst to her, Nikita had written Rosa and Katarina a note that was confiscated, along with all of Nikita's other possessions.
Rosa attempted to desert three times. The first two times ended in failure and stationing to the points on the front with the highest mortality rates. She succeeded in catching a supply train on her third attempt, on June 2, 1982, which traveled back to the town that bordered her family farm.
After searching the town for several days, she finally found Joseph Gioia, who claimed to have taken leave shortly before the war began. He brought her back to her farm, which had been fully assimilated by Kolechian authorities. Her mother was nowhere to be found, and all traces of the former Alessandra residence were expunged.
On July 7, persons claiming to be Kolechian authorities seized Joseph while he was in bed with Rosa, on the grounds of him "harboring a deserter." After refusing to disclose the location of his comrade, the Kolechians knelt Joseph to the ground and shot him dead. Since their target was a male member of the Kolechian military, they ignored Rosa, and left.
Over the next few months, Rosa made her way to the Kolechian-Arstotzkan border, making what little money she had by means of sexual favor. In November 1982, she arrived in West Grestin, where she accumulated the necessary materials to cross the border to Arstotzka. As of now, she has thirty credits, a Kolechian passport, and an entry visa to Arstotzka.
